After the latest auto update all of my history, tabs/windows, and bookmarks were deleted and I can't recover them. I have tried importing bookmarks and it does not allow me to upload an old data file and I can't restore my previous session. I tried checking both profiles but neither had my information saved and now when I open the about:profiles says "Another copy of Firefox has made changes to profiles. You must restart Firefox before making more changes."

I'm scared to try anything else because I don't want to mess anything up further but I really need my tabs and history back.

I restarted my computer and then reopened firefox and it had updated and I noticed my bookmarks were gone but my windows/tabs were open, so I tried to choose a file on the bookmark backup and nothing was happening so I restarted and after that all my history and tabs were gone and I couldn't restore them.

Just updated my Firefox. I had a huge tab group saved, and tons of bookmarks. I've been using firefox for months, I didn't have an account signed in on the browser though. I updated it and it had to restart, and everything was gone when it reopened. I even clicked that it should reopen tabs after restarting, but it just opened to tell me to make a profile. It told me that they just introduced profiles, and it put me on profile 1, which looked brand new. No browsing history whatsoever, no bookmarks, my background that I set is gone, and I cannot find anythign at all. I had over 50 bookmarks, inclyding very imprtant links for a final paper, and I'm genuinely so upset. Multiple of those bookmarks were things for me to go back to read/watch later and I will literally not be able to find them. If anyone has any tips at all, I'd love them. I am so seriously upset right now and I'm just hoping its possible for that to come back.

These are technically two separate issues, but both pertain to functionality of the mouse and keyboard. Whenever I right click to bring up the menu, the options (despite being functional) do not appear in the menu proper. Instead there are just empty buttons. In addition, certain hotkeys aren't working at all. Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V to copy paste are doing fine, but Ctrl-T and Ctrl-W to open and close tabs respectively do nothing. Neither of these issues were happening yesterday.

I keep getting sporadic crashes, and sometimes a tab crash (particularly on maps.google.com). I have the latest updates to all my software. What can I do to help prevent these crashes? Hi, I unchecked something in my settings and I don't know what I did to cause when I right click to copy something there is no copy and a lot of the rest of the options are no longer there as well. Can you tell me what to do to repair this? It doesn't give me the option to take a screen shot either or I would show you what's left in that popup box. It only give me "Ask an AI chatbot" and the "translate".

I have made a fresh install of Windows 11 from Windows 10, and after logging into my account everything syncs, apart from my bookmarks. As i have made a fresh install, i deleted all of my old files on the computer. Is there any way to get my bookmarks back?

Last night my machine updated itself but now I cannot access Facebook as it says I am using a browser version not supported by FB. I checked and my Firefox browser is indeed up to date. Have I been hacked or what?! Thanks. Geoff

I like Playing the Free Casino Games, I'm a Disabled Wounded Warrior. And I play the Games to Help me with my PTSD. but for some reason they won't Load on your Browser. I don't want to go back to Microsoft, but if you can't Fix my Issues. I might be Uninstalling your Browser and go back to Microsoft.

I read the FAQ about this feature. I read this about whether the stories are personalized to me:

... When personalization does occur, recommendations rely on a process of story sorting and filtering that happens locally in your personal copy of Firefox.

But there is no place that tells me how to turn this off if I don't want the stories personalized to me, and I do not want them personalized. Hi all, Has something happened in the past few weeks. Accessing the Shopify editor is now no longer possible on Firefox. Tried the usual, clearing cache, incognito mode, the most updated version of Firefox installed etc. Does work in Chrome. Shopify support are not able to isolate the issue. Any ideas what the issue is? And how to fix it?
