Regular download works fine, but when I try to download attachment in outlook.live.com website, it didn't ask me where to store it, but simply places it in my default location, while at the same time opening the attachment even though I only want to download the file.

I get this error often when I try to access various websites. This doesn't happen when I use Opera, so I assume the problem is not with the websites.

My OS: Windows 10. My Firefox version: 127.0 (64-bit).

I am using Firefox Developer Edition 127 b07, and that happens also in safe mode.

It used to work not too long ago with FF, and it works with Chrome latest.

The address wasn’t understood Firefox doesn’t know how to open this address, because one of the following protocols (javascript) isn’t associated with any program or is not allowed in this context. You might need to install other software to open this address.

Im getting this message on my newspaper site. It will not let me open the whole page just one article at a time but only after clicking above message

The Lower Toolbar is quite handy, with for example Roboform.

Unfortunately, the way it's implemented, it comes above the lower part of the browser window, instead of being inserted at the bottom while the browser windows height is reduced.

That hides the search box when you type Control-F.

It would be nice if this could be addressed in a future release. I am using Firefox Developer 127.0b2.

Firefox is my favourite browser so I prefer using it in all my online activities. When I go to Adobe Firefly though, I consistently get a warning that this browser is not compatible and they suggest using Chrome, Safari or the latest version of Firefox !!! I am using the latest version available, 127.0.2 but Adobe does not detect it correctly. I have to switch to Chrome, that I'm not very fond of. I saw that a similar issue was posted 10 months ago but it's now archived and I can't even include a link to it here :( So, I hope this comment helps in case others have the same problem. Hi, I am having some trouble with Mozilla Firefox version 127.02 on a Windows 11 PC. Certain websites do not load, for example, travel.state.org, which is a website to know the requirements to travel to the United States. However the site loads without any trouble on my Android phone, and on other browsers such as 'Microsoft Edge'. Can someone help me with this situation? I can't watch live stream on youtube. I see only black screen on loading circkle. Ads working fine but after them i see what i said before. When live is over then i can normally watch it. I can watch twitch normally. There is problem olny on yt. best chris

I have been dealing with problems with Firefox and YouTube for a long time. Every time I open a YouTube video in a new tab it would always give me this grey screen that goes away after a long time waiting.

I have tried:

• Refreshing Firefox
• Reinstalling Firefox
• Troubleshoot Mode, which the problem persist in troubleshoot mode so its not an addon
• Tried creating a new profile
• User-Agent Switcher which doesn't work all the time.

I want to avoid going chromium-based browsers but this is making me consider.

I woke up this morning to my home directory having been remounted as read-only (it has its own dedicated hard drive at /dev/sdd1). I ran e2fsck and things looked good, so I restarted and things were fine again.

However, whenever I open Firefox, it hangs for about 1 full minute before it goes haywire and renders the entire system essentially unusable since being able to access my home directory is vital. The following is visible in dmesg:

All other programs that I use daily do not cause this issue. No clue what to do here. LibreWolf works fine - that's what I'm using now that Firefox breaks everything and basically forces me to restart if I want to use my computer normally.

about a month ago youtube was only letting me watch videos in 720 or 360, as of about a week ago i only have 360. i've disabled every single extension i have and i have firefox version 127.0.2.

i'm not having this issue in edge, so i assume it's firefox specific. anyone know what's going on or what i can do?

I've not been able to download anything on Firefox for about 3-4 weeks now. Every time I try to it immediately fails with no explanation given. The only type of download that works is "Save Image As..." Even trying to download a picture with a download button instead of right clicking nets an immediate fail. I feel like I've done everything to try and troubleshoot it myself, but nothing seems to be working.

I've restarted my computer, ran Firefox in troubleshoot mode, refreshed and reinstalled it, checked for viruses and malware, tried both nightly and ESR versions, tried running them as admin, logged out of my Firefox profile, cleared my cookies and cache, changed and reset the download folder, ran a repair for Visual C++, and reset my windows security settings. I'm honestly surprised nothing has worked.

The only thing that I know I haven't tried yet it refreshing my entire computer, but that's my very far last resort because I'm able to download files just fine on Microsoft Edge. Only the Firefox applications have given me any problems, so if I were to refresh my computer and have the problem still not be solved somehow I'd be deleting everything to get nowhere.

If anyone has any other ideas to try that be very much appreciated.

I have both Win7 and Win10 on separate drives. I have been migrating from 7 to 10. From all appearances Firefox on both OS's are sync'd. I have asked for my passwords to be sync'd, yet they have not migrated to Win 10. Bookmarks have so I know something is working. Any advice? Thanks Chris

The icon for private browsing has recently re-appeared on my taskbar despite having browser.privateWindowSeparation.enabled set to false in about:config.

I've had this setting configured ever since the update which completely changed the appearance/behavior or private browsing and it has worked correctly up until today (14/06/24).

Is there a new setting that I have to adjust in order to "merge" the windows together as I'm not a fan of having the private browsing icon on my taskbar.

So, my old computer recently broke, but I luckily recovered all my files. I was re-downloading Firefox onto this computer, but my bookmarks and add-ons and stuff won't sync. When I searched for the solution to this, I saw someone having a similar-ish problem (https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1403774#answer-1563248), but they just said they had to wait awhile for it to sync. Now, I have a couple questions that I can't seem to get the answer to:

1. How long does it take to sync my data? How long did that person have to wait?

2. What if it never syncs and that person just got lucky? Is there some sort of alternate way to fix this faster?

I'd really appreciate help on this topic, but I'm not the best with computers. If anyone has had this problem, and figured it out, please let me know! I had a lot of bookmarks and a good amount of add-ons, I really would like to not lose those.

i cant find panel and scroll down to the Forms and Autofill section. and i want to delete the auto fill emails i get popped up when i want to type an email anywhere please help
