I have been reading the NYTimes on Firefox for a long time, but it appears that I got logged out without knowing it. I could not log back in even though I used the correct email address and changed my password twice. I can log in on other browsers using my latest password. I called the Times and the person with whom I spoke, after trying to get me logged in, finally said that this is a known problem with Firefox. He did not have any idea about the cause or what I could do; he simply told me to use another browser. I use Firefox for almost everything and this is, to say the least, an inconvenience--for instance, if the Times sends me a link to an article by Thunderbird (which is my email program), I can't read the article but have to find it on another browser. Are you aware of this problem? Do you have any suggestions for how I might log in despite it? Do you know the cause of the problem and whether Mozilla is trying to fix it?

Firefox version is: 127.0 (64-bit)

My problem is that Firefox seems to be ignoring "#:~:text=highlight this".

Maybe there's something under about:config? I can't find it.

Can you suggest any functions or apps that I must or should avoid? It's important that I NOT use a VPN, and that I use 'open-source' in a probably 'shared access' situation. GRM PL

I can open an email or a google search for this particular website, Sundance, click on an item which then opens on my screen but Firefox is unresponsive when I click within this item screen for details like available sizes and colors. This is the only site that this has occurred.

With some emails in Outlook on Firefox, clicking on a link within the email gives me a new blank window, with its address line saying something like this: (name of original site, then) ".list-manage.com/track/click?u=ca38acd 82fe622b7" etc etc... This doesn't happen with all emails, but often enough and in some of my most-used sites... I'm on a new HP desktop. Can anyone help?

I have been trying to contact support about an issue regarding being able to change my account password to the page at https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/new/mozilla-account/form, however I cannot seem to submit any information. When I try, the page reloads, followed by multiple uncaught errors observed in the console, including a cross site origin request block error (in the latest stable Firefox). My browser settings use the standard browser privacy setting, and custom DNS.

Regarding the error I was trying to report, I am unable to change my password, receiving "incorrect password" despite entering the correct current password. In the browser console, a POST response with error 400 is shown.

I've been trying to install an add-on that is in the .zip format. I set xpinstall.signatures.required to false and restarted the browser, yet Firefox keeps telling me the add-on cannot be installed because it's not verified. Is there a way to change this?

www.wsj.com isn't the only website where this happens. It seems random on sites. www.youtube.com, www.wellsfargo.com. It all started after the last windows update this week. my other browsers weren't affected. Firefox is my preferred browser. Help me fix this.

Even though I have browser.privateWindowSeparation.enabled set on "false", private windows appear separate regardless and it is bothering me. I restarted my browser, logged out and then back in, toggled the setting on and off again, but the damn thing stays in this uncomfortable spot that would be awkward to explain as opposed to simply having it blend in with the other windows innocuously. How do I fix this?

Hi! I don't like the automatically updated extensions -feature, it seems to have been turned on nowadays, it has been maybe a year or two when you had control to update them by hand! I don't like this feature and it seems to now be in every browser that I use, Firefox, Opera, Brave, Vivaldi! Is there a way to turn this function off? Maybe a commandline function or an editable thing in a configuration file! Other browser developers should also think about this! I think Firefox has been a good browser to use, I used to use Opera but changed to Firefox quite accidentally when having to install things again!

Until a few days ago, my Firefox would save all the tabs from the previous session. But now it does not, and I still have all the necessary settings enabled. I noticed that it will save the previous session IF I use the Firefox "EXIT" from the "File" menu. However if I use close the session using the upper right hand corner Windows close box (where the "X"), it does NOT save the tabs from the session. I also notice that when I close the Firefox window using the Windows close box, that Firefox (several) show still running under the Windows Task manager, but not when I use the "File:Exit". Running the current FIrefox version 127.0 (64-bit) under Windows 11.

I have had an issue for months where streaming services like Netflix, Hulu, Max, and Amazon Prime will not work on Firefox. I am updated to the latest version, 127.0 (64-bit), and am able to successfully log in to these streaming services, but without fail get an error message when I attempt to stream a video. Netflix returns a F7531 error, Max returns an error code, and Prime Video says I cannot stream without the latest version of the browser even though I am up to date. I have restarted and updated Firefox multiple times, have toggled and uninstalled extensions and nothing has worked. The extensions I currently use are Auto Tab Discard, Google Analytics Opt-Out, Honey, Return Youtube Dislike, Search by Image, Shinigami Eyes, Sponsorblock for Youtube, UBlock Origin, To Google Translate, and Video DownloadHelper.

I use Firefox (currently on version 127.0) and starting this weekend I noticed a strange behavior. When I initially go to the NPR.org site (and only that site) everything works fine, but once I scroll down past the first two articles all of the links on the page stop working. The cursor that usually changes from an arrow to a finger does not change, the links do not change color as they should.

This only happens on NPR.org, and it only happens with Firefox (I can use Chrome at the site works fine.) Therefore I assumed that something changed at NPR.org so have reached out to them, however, I thought I would ask your team if they knew of anything going on?

Why can´t my email within Outlook not be shown. "error" Your email cant be shown at the moment. Try again lather or check your Internet connection.

In other browsers an android phone there is no problems. P.s. I have just updated Firefox. to version 127 for Linux Kind regards Bent

I want replace firefox Windows Mozilla MSIX 1- 0 package browser from ms store with regular downloaded version but I do not want to lose all my settings.

How do I go about this?
