Just keeps randomly crashing. Crashes when I do things, crashes just sitting on the screen.

Only thing I can think of that is possibly suspicious is that I updated to stand alone Roboform 7.7.3 from 7.72 last night. No crashes before then. I've tried FF in safe mode - it crashes. I've reinstalled Firefox 10.0.2 and Roboform 7.7.3. Still crashes. I've rebooted - still crashes.

IE 9 and Chrome 17 are stable using Roboform.

I have sent a help request to Roboform without much hope of an intelligent reply.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

I have recently formatted my computer (doing a full system wipe, not just a settings wipe) and now Firefox isn't behaving. If I change my Firefox homepage to another homepage (IE Google) it will save it until I close out all my Firefox windows, then it goes back to the default homepage. I have tried doing a full Firefox uninstall, and deleting my profile and it's not working. I set the files to 'read only' and changed my homepage, and it still went back to the default. I have even deleted the prefs to no avail. I'm positive it's not malware as I have just formatted my computer (It was doing the same thing for a while last time I formatted as well but it somehow fixed itself) I do have Adblock and Status-4-ever installed, but those have been in my PC since before I formatted last time and have never caused a problem. They're also on my other computer, and it works fine as well. Any ideas on what I can do to fix this?

PS. Sorry if I'm in the wrong area. I'm a little bubblebrained today. =P

I have multiples tabs opened in 2 browser windows. Every time I exited Firefox by choosing File - Exit so that the tabs can be opened when Firefox is launched.

This works fine on version 9. After the upgrade (since 10.0.1), the first tab in 2nd window is missing. It can still be opened by choosing tab groups, but not visible on tab bar. Furthermore, the "Open a new tab" button appear at left of tabs instead of right side, which is in between the missing tab and the rest of the tabs.

Specifically, when I open a new window (CTRL-N), I want a new browser window with a blank page and the cursor in the location bar (so I can just start typing the new URL - as Firefox 3.0.3 allowed me to do). In 3.0.3 I was able to set my 'home page' to blank. I am more than happy to edit about:config, but cannot find the correct item to edit. Note, If I edit browser.startup.homepage and clear that field, Firefox (obnoxiously) sets it back to about:home. Any suggestions would be most appreciated.

When I click on images in a google search I get only about 12 images in FF10.0.2 and the "options" and "safe Search" buttons on the page do not work. This only happened after I upgraded to 10.0.2. The previous version worked fine. IE also works OK. I have not changed any settings in FireFox and have checked the blocked image file and the image permissions are set to 1

I am in Korea on Business and do not speak the language. I am an American and all of my settings on my computer and browser reflect this. However whenever I type in www.google.com I am automatically redirected to http://www.google.co.kr/. When I do a search from here it is in Hangul and I don't understand it. How can I get all pages to display in English? Is there an automatic translator that does this?

When privacy mode is on, is each tab its own separate entity? Will a sneaky cookie created in one tab be seen by another tab? Will tracking cookie from some hidden element on one page be able to be seen from another web site if its opened in another tab?

Is a tab like a separate VM instance when privacy mode is on? Independent of 3rd party cookies turned off. (They are). Can this type of behaviour be turned on?

In all versions of Firefox prior to v10, Ctrl+LeftArrow orCtrl+RightArrow while the cursor was in an editable control would cause that cursor to move to the start of the previous or next word, respectively, as is standard in virtually every installation I've seen. Why would the developers of FF10 see fit to violate those standards & cause an inordinate amount of time to be wasted returning to the edit & manually repositioning the cursor???

If I type an URL e.g. www.vdh-lelystad.nl the PHP session_start() does work very well. All the SESSION variables are available trhoughout the website visit.
If I type URL vdh-lelystad.nl (without www.) no PHP session_start() will be there. No SESSION variables are available. (In Chrome or IE if you type a URL without www. they put it automatically in front of the URL).
Please can you tell me what to do about it so that if people type the URL without www. ther won't be any problem. First it cost me a lot to find out what happened, and second it already took me a lot of time to try something, so I could put it in front of the URL myself (e.g. $URL = $_SERVER['SERVER_NAME'];
$URL = explode('.', $_SERVER['SERVER_NAME']);

if(strtolower($URL[0]) <> 'www')
{
   $_SERVER['HTTP_HOST'] = "www.vdh-lelystad.nl";
   header("Location: " . $_SERVER['HTTP_HOST']);
   exit;
}

But that doesnot work cause the second time the URL will be:
vdh-lelystad.nlwww.vdh-lelystad.nl.
You make me happy if you know a way to solve this problem.
Many thanks in advance.

Best regards
Marc Molthoff'

They are small pop-up windows. When I start entering in keywords to search, ever so often, these things pop-up and not just one. Many of them. Popping one upon another upon another upon another. I cannot enter anything new into the Google search box until I have closed all of these windows. And, commonly, numerous ones of them will pop up again when I enter in the next letter in my search.

This is what it says in the pop-up box:

Along the top it says in the light blue margin "Opening search"

Under the above and in a white box it says:

"You have chosen to open

[a Windows symbol] search

    which is a: application/json
    from: https//www.google.com

Then on the outline of an inner box, it reads "What should Firefox do with this file?" and it gives the following options:

    Open with ["Browse" button]
    DownThemAll!
    Save File [This one is checked as the default]

Then a check-off box with the text next to it: "Do this automatically for files like this from now on.

Under that is an "OK" button that is gray and cannot be checked and a "Cancel" button that can be. I have never done either but used the "X" in the upper right corner of the box to close out this window.

Now I see I have limited options for "This happened" for frequency. It isn't every time Firefox is opened but it is FAR more frequent than "A few times a week". More like several times a day.
