Seems as if Firefox is updating every other day lately. I have Dashlane on my tool bar, and it seems to freeze/disable after every update. When I open Dashlane separately in the browser and log in, it congratulates me on installing it on a new device. What is Firefox changing with its updates that makes my computer look different to Dashlane? I cannot find the Dashlane version running but I do have it on automatically update.

Hello, I was reinstalling my OS, and I didn't create recovery code for my data to retrieve it after (which I found out after reinstalling my OS) on my Mozilla Firefox account, I had a lot of passwords, bookmarks and data that I need to recover, also for my full time job a lot of valuable data which I have lost now. I couldn't find any email address so I can address my concern directly, It's why I am posting here. Please help, I am so lost now. This is working fine on Google Chrome, but I would prefer not to use chrome for privacy reasons.

I used to sign in to my credit card through Elan Financial Services and then I would highlight my credit card, tell it the date range I needed to update to Quicken, and hit enter. a popup would give me the option of opening the file or to save the quicken file to my computer. I would select the option to open the file and it would update my register on Quicken. Now, I only get the option to save the file to my computer. On Microsoft Edge, I still get the choice to open or save the file. Why doesn't Firefox support the Open Function anymore. I use Firefox for everything, but now I have to remember to switch to Edge for this one important update. Is this a change in Firefox or something I have to deal with Elan on? I got mad at a website that wouldn't let me right click menu to save pictures, so I stubbornly saved them via less efficient means, in the process I picked up the Long Screenshot extension and this had an error shortly before or after I had an issue with Lightshot not appearing, other extensions did not appear either when I added them during this time period, but now these all appear with the exception of Lightshot, which gets deleted and reinstalled only to not appear, that of course being the problem, though I will also say that a right click menu not being there is like reaching onto my computer and pulling my finger away, sites that do that should be given the cold shoulder somehow, at least.

Every time I log in or refresh outlook, I get an email ad for outlook upgrade. It is from microsoft, and can be opened as an email, but it is an ad and can't be blocked. These emails remain blocked with Brave, and I am running an ad blocker. Will mozilla update to remove these ads, or is there an ad blocker that works better with Mozilla. When I inspect it, the first line shows:-

I've set my firefox theme to "light" as recommended in another thread, restarted my computer, but to no avail. I now have a light background/black letter tab bar but every site is black where it used to be white. Thanks for a simple answer, I'm not highly technically skilled.

I am currently creating a website in WordPress. It has many embedded YouTube videos.

On pages with embedded YouTube videos, in order to go back to the previous page, I have to click the Back button multiple times. If I right-click on the back button, I see that the page I am currently on has been listed multiple times.

Many other support questions list this issue. I have found that if I disable "Site Isolation" (URL about:config -> set fission.autostart to false -> restart Firefox), the issue goes away.

I am interested, however, in the user experience for those who will go to my site. Is there anything I can do so that "Site Isolation" does not cause this problem?

I can load up a new session of Firefox and browse OK. Then suddenly if I enter a different website in the address bar and press enter nothing happens, as if I didn't pres… (funda kabanzi)

I can load up a new session of Firefox and browse OK. Then suddenly if I enter a different website in the address bar and press enter nothing happens, as if I didn't press anything. Same for if I type into the search bar, type what I am searching then press enter and nothing happens. I can refresh the same page, that works, I can click on websites via the favourites bar and it will take me to the correct page.

I have troubleshooted, tried a few obvious things on the help pages, clear cache etc. Troubleshoot mode and refresh and the issue goes away. Then comes back quickly. This is the latest version as of 13 May 2022 with clean install I haven't any other plugins etc.

Norton logged in remotely and went through some hoops but they came up with the same thing. Cleared the cache, history, no-go. They tell me that is is a problem with Firefox and not them. (and recommended an expensive organization to get help from) This is a computer I just reset to factory and reinstalled completely. Any assistance would be appreciated. Thanks!

What I mean by the login not being retained is that when I log-in to a website like say Amazon, while I'm browsing, I end up having to re-enter my login information pretty much every other time that I switch between pages. I've never had an issue like that with any other browser. Is there some setting I need to adjust to stop that from happening? As I said, I'm not looking to save my passwords and usernames within the browser, I just want to effectively browse a website after logging into it without needing to login every time I move between pages.
