I just noticed that when I start writing in the Firefox URL bar there is a blinking straight bar that remains at the start. And if I click of somewhere else and then start writing again, the bar remains blinking at the start of the new text. I also don't have the straight line you get when moving left or right in the text using the arrow keys.

I couldn't capture the bar with a screen shot so I have edited the images to where the bar is when beginning typing, and then after I have clicked of the text bar and then entered it again and typed some more.

I've noticed recently that some Unicode characters are not rendering properly on some websites. Specifically the Unicode characters for Mathematical Bold Capitals, though there may be others. I've noticed this issue on Twitch and GitHub. Screenshots for the repository sainnhe/everforest are attached along with the Inspector. Notice the characters do not appear properly on the webpage but are rendered just fine in Inspector. I also attached the screenshot for Unicode Mathematical Bold Capital E.

I am running Firefox version 132.0 on macOS Sequoia 15.0.1. The problem remains in Troubleshoot Mode. The problem does not appear in Chrome or Safari. The problem does not appear on my iPhone or Android tablet.

In posts with similar issues I've seen the suggestion to toggle "Allow pages to choose their own fonts", the issue does not respond to changing this setting (it is on in all the screenshots).

I was wandering if Firefox Desktop will support Web Share API. You can see it's supported from all major browsers and on Firefox Mobile too

Do you plan to include the support in the near or far future?

Firefox updated to version 131.0 64 bit. Bill payment functions on my banking web site stopped working. I cleared cache and cookies and restarted PC but didn't fix it. I tried using Microsoft Edge and the banking web site worked as always. The bank IT person said it was a Firefox problem. Also, the site says not to block 3rd party cookies, enable cookie tracking and cross-site tracking. In Firefox, I made all changes to allow these things for this site but it still doesn't work. Looks like the latest Firefox update is causing a problem that always worked in the past, while trying to fix something else.

Is it possible to view the contents of two tabs simultaneously? I have been in many situations where it would be very helpful to view two different web pages side-by-side to more easily make comparisons. Opening a new window and viewing them side-by-side is similar but being able to pick two tabs to view in one browser would be a lot faster and easier to control.

I have a problem on the aliexpress website. (in other browsers everything works fine) When I open tabs with goods on aliexpress. and start switching between them, then at the moment of switching to another tab, my previous tab itself is updated and opens the main page. And there is no way to even press the “Back” button. The browser seems to reload the page completely. The chatgpt was unable to find a solution. All hope is on you. There are no errors. It's just that the aliexpress page reloads by itself when I switch to any other tab.

Youtube's side panel on the left does not load at all, the videos on the homepage do but none of them can be played. When I play a video the website doesn't load that either. I only get an hourglass icon on the tab. Image attached.

Google search results don't show up immediately, despite being loaded. Only after about 7 seconds. Image attached.

I don't have this issue on other browsers. It has only started occurring 3 days ago, I'm clueless as to what the cause may be.

Solutions I have tried: 1. Restarting my PC. 2. Turning off all my extensions. 3. Running Firefox in troubleshoot mode. 4. Refreshing Firefox.

The list of previously visited sites in firefox windows seems to have shrunk in some recent update of firefox. Now, when I click the address bar I only get 5 options, the first being search with google and the remaining 4 being previously visited sites. Used to be that list was much longer. Is there a way to customize this, or revert it back to where it contains 10+ items?

I thought I had solved this by adding the website to the "safe" list - I really cannot say how frustrating this is if I am being locked out of even safe sites. - This is a browser issue (I'm not that naive).

There is no real response from Moacilla(Firefox) here apart from throwing the Rulebbok at me and saying "Read!". I can only do so much Tune ups" and shut downs and ensure drives are functional. Please advise on the Browser Cache situation, rspecially as BBC iPlayer is added to the "Safe List" and yet still throws up the 400 Bad Gateway error message - an early reply would be useful.

Restore the new tab button to the tabs bar, as well as the ability to put extension icons on the toolbar! There was no reason to remove these and it's highly inconvenient with these new changes!

When visiting a site with a Input=Number field and clicking on it and scrolling nothing happens when it should change the value as if i had pressed up or down arrow.

I am running an iMac that is about eight years old.This afternoon my Firefox browser was taken over by a "warning" from "MacOS security center" that I should go to THEIR macOS support site to get my system unfrozen. Hello👋 I am using firefox developers edition on build 132.0b2 and my UI is not rendering correctly, the themes work but the objects like the bookmarks toolbar and the refresh button and the home button even some of my extensions is not loading and other things also not loading, but fortunately I know the keyboard shortcuts for these functions and they are working just fine but all the buttons are just not there My device is a Dell Latitude E7450 and it has a normal core I5 5300U so it is not an x86 arm based processor I hope that you find a solution ASAP as I am really struggling with my browser like this and btw I really love your work and the products that you give Thanks for doing the hard work! bye

The bookmarks sidebar disappearing is creating inconvenience and I´m always having to use CNTL-B to recover it, even after I have selected View/Sidebar/Bookmarks which has a tick. Each time I change sites it deletes the tick.

I checked the about:config toobars and I cannot find it, or am I in the wrong place ?

I have latest version of firefox on my windows 10 dell inspiron 7560 ... I have been using firefox for about 18 years now

system info - i7 - 8GB RAM, windows 10, one 128 GB SSD and other 512GB SSD

Since yesterday, it has been crashing after every 2-5 minutes; in troubleshooter mode as well...

I ran Windows RAM memory test, it turned out to be okay... I ran a Dell hardware test, it informed me that my fan is not working properly; though I doubt its the reason for my Firefox crashing

My Firefox started crashing a lot recently. Dozens of tab crashes within the span of just a minute or two are not uncommon. Sometimes, the entire browser itself crashes. Usually, the reason given is a vague EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION_WRITE or EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION_READ. I should note that in my case, the crashes affect most of the browsers I use, but they do not crash nearly as often as firefox does.

I've tried using it without any extensions (clean install), and with hardware acceleration disabled. I've run a RAM test also, which showed no issues. Disk check also indicated no issues. I installed windows 10 and even windows 11 on the secondary hard disk, but the issue persisted. I've also tried forcing my discrete/integrated GPU to be used solely as the display adapter, but the crashes still persisted.

When using firefox on ubuntu, the crashes do not happen, strangely. There was only one instance that I noticed the crashes on ubuntu, and that was when I set my discrete graphics card as the exclusive display adapter, from the BIOS settings.

Anyway, nothing really sticks out as the root cause. My computer died about three days ago, and firefox had three windows open. When I rebooted the computer again, firefox automatically started up, and the flyout panel thing that shows up when you right click on an app claimed that all three windows returned. However, only two of them were actually accessible, and clicking on the app to move between them and the F3 window confirmed this. Clicking on the third window accomplishes nothing, reveals nothing, and just moves the little checkmark around in that flyout panel. Closing the other two windows before restarting firefox does not open a new window because it thinks one is already there, but I cannot in any way see or access it outside of its label in the flyout panel. Even hitting "Show All Windows" just shows the window I am typing this in. What am I supposed to do here?

Greetings. I have Windows 10 and Firefox for my browser. Has worked very well for many years but now I have a problem with Google search. Normally when I do search on Google and get the results I can click on a link and it will open in a new window(tab). 3 days ago I noticed that when I clicked on the link after search the site would open in the existing window. I checked my settings in Firefox and they appear to the untrained eye to be normal. I did go to the settings in Google and noticed that the "open results in a new window" was disabled. I enabled the option (no save function was available) and did a search again. This time it worked as I had hoped opening in a new window. This worked for a few hours and then once again noticed the problem. I went back to the Google settings and once again it was disabled. I enabled it and then worked fine. It continues to disable this function to open results in a new window after a few searches. Not sure if this problem is with Google or Firefox. I apologize for the length of this question but am trying to provide as much info as possible. I very much would appreciate any assistance regarding this .. Thank you
