I went to a new website it asked me to put in an email address, Upon starting to type I saw I had 10 or 11 things to choose from. I want to edit these out one by one, is there a procedure to do that? Thank you.

I want to know how to stop auto-fill on any form and also prevent drop-down menus keeping email addresses or anything else, like passwords. I hate drop-down menus with info on them and , also, doing auto-fill.

Please offer suggestions. I have not had success researching on my own.

I have two credit cards saved in Firefox 147.0.2. When a web site asks for my cc info, a yellow box opens identifying both cards. When I hover over one, the boxes are filled in in yellow. When I click on the card i wish to use, everything disappears and all of the boxes are blank and back to their original color.

I am on a MAC running Tahoe OS 26.2

What am I doing wrong?

Going to enter payment method on website and the auto filled credit cards queue up, when a card is sellected and clicked it will not fill in on the website. They area but will not load on the website

It seems that more and more websites are adopting a single button you have to click both for creating an account and to login with an existing account, as opposed to having 2 buttons, one to sign in with an existing account, one to sign up for a new account. For me, Firefox does not fill the login (email address, for example) automatically in those cases. Ironically, an example is https://accounts.firefox.com

To be clear, Firefox does remember and autocomplete my password, but not my login (the email address).

Is there any way to make it work? Thanks!

I use an iMac and Macbook Pro. Autofill that used to work is no longer working on both of these when I go to USPS.com and sign up for updates on packages. It use to fill in my name on the top line and on the bottom line, it would fill in my email.

What can I do to get this feature back? It stopped working around the beginning of 2025.

According to this article I should be able to activate autofill credit card details in my country https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/credit-card-autofill But the option is no where to be found and in about:config I can see it is restricted to a few countries mine not being one. I can not change the list with countries either, actually I can not change anything nor search in about:config. I am running Firefox 140.0.4 (64-bit) EDIT I made a a master password, which then made it possible for me to edit in about:config. I added my country to the extension and now I can activate it.

I remember in the old days there was a way to delete permanently suggested form input without going to settings...Does it still exist...Also what comes up in my form filling is not listed in any of my addresses or personal data.

There used to be dozens of video downloaders. Now, none of them work except for one that requires a ridiculous fee. Are there still youtube video downloaders that still work

When I sign in to the NY Times (for example) I get a dropdown of autofill email addresses. Some are even mistyped addresses or bogus addresses I've used to access webpages that'll take any email address. I cannot delete these. I've tried shift-delete. These email addresses cannot be accessed via Firefox preferences: autofill screens do not list email addresses but only the physical addresses that I've saved.

(And then, of course, the minute you submit any email to the NYTimes it immediately creates an "account" and starts sending you subscription offers.)
