Ok for some reason any of my browsers tabs are crashing I just do whatever it is whether i search or watch movie and after some time 'Gah! your tab crashed' and it's pretty annoying, my discord happens to restart it self and I've exhausted literally anything from re-installing, deleting caches folders absolutely anything.

As of today, when I launch firefox, all of my tabs (which have been working fine for the last several days) crash.

By disabling all of my addons, I get this to go away - and by testing addons one at a time I am able to determine that: -Ublock Origin -Kaskpersky Password Manager Cause all of my tabs to crash.

Whereas: -Sponsorblock for Youtube -Youtube Nonstop Both crash if I visit youtube, but don't affect the browser otherwise.

So it seems like ALL addons are currently broken when they try to affect a tab?

After the update on April 8th, I couldnt start Firefoz. Im using Windows 11, and I kept getting the Bad Image Error. I tried doing a fresh install after seeing on here some other users solved the issue. I was able to launch Firefox, but now I cant open any tab without getting the"Gah, looks like your tab crashed" screen. Restoring tab doesnt work, no website works, and even just opening a new tab shows the crash message.

When attempting to attach file to enail from File Explorer, or do a "Save as" of a photo, Firefox crashes and a "Firefox Crash Reporter" box appears, which instructs me to restart Firefox.

I have Firefox on two separate computers, a desktop running Win7Prof64bit and a laptop running Win10Pro 64bit. Both Firefox installations crash constantly, ie every 10 - 15 mins. They show the "Gah! Firefox just crashed. Please tell us what you were doing", and the box to return the data to Mozilla. With Restore This Tab at the bottom.

I always send you these reports but in about a year, the problem remains the same. Nothing has improved, I never hear back from you. Two different PCs, two different OSs, constant reports, no improvement. Why do I never hear from you? Why does this problem continue endlessly? I'm wasting my time sending you the reports. You take no notice. If you do, why does the problem continue and why do I never hear from you?

hi, i genuinely have no idea why this is happening because it started crashing all of a sudden and it doesnt happen mid-use, i cant use it at all and restarting firefox just results in another crash and so on. what am i supposed to do??

I have a user that gets this crash report when trying to use certain sites like ebay and fidelity investments. Brand new PC, updated drivers, all fresh software installed. Very basic.

Not a tech person. I prefer Firefox (Safari is working). 137 was loaded automatically on 4/1 . It was working on 3/31. It keeps crashing. No pics come up with text on first screen, then it crashes, don't get to a web site. I have tried I think all the options listed on various mozilla help pages from Troubleshooting mode, Refresh, etc etc.

I've seen a recommendation about loading an earlier version of Firefox. If this is a good idea - Where would I get one? Any reccs for this OS on which one to try?

Are there other pages I should look at for ideas?

Every so often while using firefox, my mouse will suddenly not respond to clicking, both from my laptop and my mouse. My cursor on screen is still able to move however, and my laptop keys are also still functional. Is this due to me having a couple of profile windows open at the same time, or another reason?

Hi everyone, I've been experiencing a persistent issue where my Firefox (Windows 10) randomly crashes or closes. I recently noticed that this always happens when a JSON file appears in the following directory: C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\distribution The strange thing is that this file shouldn't even be there, as this is my personal computer and it is not managed by any organization. I have already tried deleting or renaming the file, but after a seemingly random period, it gets recreated automatically. Here’s what I have tried so far, without success: - Deleting/renaming the file - Checking the registry at HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Policies\Mozilla\Firefox (but the "Mozilla" folder does not exist there) - I have never used any third-party antivirus software (only Windows Defender) Does anyone have an idea where this file might be coming from or how I can prevent it from being recreated? I’m not very tech-savvy, so I would greatly appreciate simple explanations or step-by-step instructions. Thanks in advance for any help!
