How can I transfer Browsing data like bookmarks, etc from my old laptop to the new one? I have logged in, sync is on however, I can't find the data transfer option. Both are desktop so scan dose not work.

I recently noticed that my Firefox hadn't updated in a few weeks. When clicking on Help -> About Firefox the Check for Updates button is missing (I was at 97.0). I then downloaded the latest version of Firefox which created a 2nd Firefox icon. I deleted the old Firefox and am now using 97.0.1 but the About Firefox window is still missing the check for updates button (see attached pic).

Also strange is that in the Settings Menu, under General, there are no choices for anything (the other options work) (see attached pic).

how do i set printing using the system dialog as default? i tried using the print.tab_modal.enabled in about:config. but setting it to either true or false does not change the behavior. it is ridiculous i have to click additional buttons to get to the system dialog to print so i can change the printing settings. why are we breaking things that dont need to be fixed?

Tried to reset settings. Does not work. Went to about:config, than tab.mo / print.tab_modal.enabled set to false. Did this method before and it worked. Now this method does not work trying to get print preview back. Firefox is my web browser. I am in windows 8.1. Seems like Firefox did some updates again and now I can not get print preview back! WHY DOES NOT FIREFOX LEAVE WILL ENOUGH ALONE WHEN THEY HAVE SOMETHING GOOD? Bring back the old classic print preview button back and leave it. Now how can I get the old print preview button back???? Google maps loads correctly and after a few seconds it turns black and you can't see anything... i have removed add-ons and turned off hardware acceleration and cleared cache but nothing works for more than a minute... how can we fix this?

How do I get back to traditional print preview? We had this problem before, and I set print.tab_modal.enabled to False. That worked for a while, but someone has decided to play Big Brother and ignore that setting. It's really annoying to have to change it for each print. And the preView under modal is frequently too small to be useful.

I am using Firefox for linux mint (97.0.1 (64-bit)). I previously had the location bar right below the menu bar, and below it the tabs. However all of the sudden the tabs are now above the location bar. How do I restore it to how it was before?

I tried View - Toolbars - Customize Toolbar, but the new screen it brings up does not allow me to drag what I want to move. If I try to drag the tabs, it drags the entire window. On what I am calling the location bar (the back, forward, home, address bar, add-on buttons), each thing on it is dragged individually, and when I try to drag the address bar, I cannot drop it anywhere above where it already is. Pressing the restore to default button on the customize toolbar does not change it to what is was before.

I think I hit a wrong button on the keyboard accidentally when all this began, are there some keyboard buttons to restore the previous layout?

On the website soranews24.com the header picture and all the random clutter pictures all over the website load, but the pictures in the actual articles are all just grey boxes. I've tried searching for fixes and similar problems and tried the solutions, and nothing helps. Tracking protection on or off, strict, standard or no enhanced tracking protection, pop-up blockers removed, U-block Origin disabled for that site, U-block Origin removed, all add-ons disabled, add-ons re-enabled in sequence to see if I can find the one causing the problem, Firefox refreshed, clean Firefox installed- nothing gets the pictures to load. On Firefox android turning off tracking protection by clicking the shield gets the pictures to load right away. Firefox on Windows, nothing makes the pictures load. This is the only webpage where the issue occurs. It happens in the regular window and private. I'm not interested in using Chrome or Edge, that's why I'm using Firefox.

I need developer tools, for some tasks. F12 shortcut is fine. I have ubuntu linux, CTRL+SHIFT+C is used for copy from terminal. I want copy something from firefox to terminal. Every time I press CTRL+SHIFT+C developer tools appear instead of coping text. Pressing CTRL+SHIFT+C again does not close developer tools. So need to press F12. Select text one more a press CTRL+C. Is it possible to disable CTRL+SHIFT+C shortcut? Is there any fork with this shortcut disabled?
