Dear Sir/Madam:
I am using Firefox Browser 102.15.1esr (64-bit) on a MacBook Pro Ventura 13.5.2.
I have been using the www.dictionary.com website for a long time, but recently when I attempt to go there, I keep getting the error message as follows:
Unexpected Application Error! FM.findLast is not a function

I tried clearing caches under Privacy & Security, but the problem persists.
(Meanwhile, I can visit www.dictionary.com on Safari and Google Chrome.)
Could you please let me know what is going on?
Thank you,
Roland

Embedded videos play on Safari but not Firefox. When I looked at the previous questions about this they were addressed in June 2012. Apparently it is happening again, at least in my case. Maybe it happened with the last upgrade, I don't know, but I never had this problem before. Would appreciate any input. I haven't changed any of my settings. Thanks.

Hi! I have two Firefox accounts, one for work and one for personal use. I often have them running on the same computer at once (this does cause them to crash occasionally, but not often enough to be a problem). However, today I tried to log into a website where I regularly do freelance work and received this error code: "Error code: SSL_ERROR_PROTOCOL_VERSION_ALERT"
I would assume something was wrong with the website itself, however when I went to that same site on my other account, it loaded just fine. I've restarted my computer, restarted firefox, deleted cookies and caches and browser history, but still get the same message on my work account. Any idea how to fix this?
Thanks!

Basically as the title says. The only sites this is an exception for is youtube as well as big streaming services but on youtube the video seems like it takes longer to buffer and has a lot more pauses.
I am on Version 117.0.1 which was installed on September 12th for me. I did not notice any issues prior.
I am on a macbook air which is updated to latest software.
I have tried the following:
Running it in troubleshoot mode. It did not fix the issue.
Turning on/off autoplay. It didn't work.
Clearing cookies/cache. Nothing.
Started firefox without a theme. Didn't do anything.
I unchecked "Use hardware acceleration when available." which did nothing.
Sites I have tried watching videos on include:
pornhub/other porn sites (for testing purposes...)

A few days ago links in messages stopped working in Outlook (Microsoft 365) on my Windows 10 Pro 64-bit PC.
Good ol' Microsoft support reset Firefox on the PC and I lost all bookmarks, history and personalized settings. Tried to copy data from Old Firefox Data file into profile on reset Firefox. Didn't work. Uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox and tried to copy data from old profile to new profile. Nada.
Only option now is to try to sync Firefox on my Mac to new install on PC. I'll still lose some bookmarks and history but it will be better than what I have now. I have a Firefox account on both devices but when I log in to Firefox on the Mac I cannot find anything pertaining to sync.
Problem one: how do I navigate to sync in Firefox for Mac. Problem two: when I bought the Mac 6 years ago I tried to sync Firefox on my PC to the new Mac. For some reason Firefox synced the empty new profile on the Mac to the old PC. I lost all bookmarks and history accumulated on the old PC! I do not want to go through that again.
I have never found anything on Mozilla that clearly explains how to control which way the sync works. Must be certain that I'm copying all the bookmarks, history, tabs etc, from the old device to the new on and not vice versa.

Firefox automatically updated on 18/09/2023. I now get the 'unable to connect' message for many bookmarked tabs (e.g. hotmail sign in). I have not changed any firefox settings and I can connect to the sites in Chrome. I'm running mac 10.15.7 Is this a bug or do I need to change a setting? Thanks in advance for help... Tim

Using Firefox 17.0.1 on MacOS Ventura 13.6 on my 2017 iMac I am unable to connect to the internet while using Private Internet Access (PIA) VPN. All was working normally until I installed MacOS Ventura 13.6 yesterday. The VPN works normally when using Chrome or Safari. I have tried changing my network proxy setting without any luck. The default setting is "Use System Settings", using No Proxy or Auto Detect Proxy doesn't help. I don't see a switch for Enable DNS over HTTPS. All works fine when the VPN is disabled. I tried deleting the VPN a couple of times then reinstalling but that didn't help.
What am I missing here? I have used this VPN for years without any issues & it worked on Firefox until I installed MacOS 13.6...... using 13.5 I had no problems. Any suggestions or thoughts would be appreciated.
Thanks...... Brad

I've been having this issue for several months now. It seems my Firefox on MacOS (Both Monterey and Ventura Intel) can't load any Google sites (google.com, gmail, google meet, etc) after I put the computer to sleep and wake it up again. Only gets fixed after quitting and relaunching firefox.
I've recreated this issue while in "Troubleshooting Mode" with all my addon's disabled, so it is not related to an addon.
This issue might be also happening after some amount of time idle as well, but I've only been able to recreate it by putting the machine to sleep and waking it up the next day.
Is there a way to fix this? or is there a way to get more debug info to help diagnose?
