firefox is my default browser but every time i want to open a website or my gmail i have to sign in to google first . always get a message from google stating that cookies are disabled on firefox browser and i must reverse this and make google my default browser . what then is the point of firefox if i have to do this every time i may as well stay with google chrome . how do i solve this so that i can log on to gmail and autotrader with firefox .

Hi i can't open twitter for some reason it keep giving me twitter.com/?failedScript=polyfills I tried to refresh Firefox and delete cache and it still didn't work I can still open twitter using different browser can anyone help me?

How to edit the HTML-code of a local stored file been displayed in a tab of mozilla Firefox?

In Opera 12.16 in context menu an menu exists for that. Could not give more details on that because the system admins forbid to use that outdated software a few days ago. In the settings of Opera I font an Option to replace the built in editor with my favorite Notepad++.exe.

In that context menu on line below or above a meneu entry allowed to call the W3C.org Verifyer of the HTML-source code.

This few simple things allowed me to edit some HTML and CSS files to create HTML pages on my notebook and copying them on a server in local network made a simply knowledge sharing project up and running.

Since I am lo longer allowed to use Opera 12.16 I am searching for a similar solution within the mozilla Firefox. version 88. While looking at and searching in the list containing over 1200 add-ons I have fount W3C Validator but till now no solution for the editing task.

Whenever I go to Amazon.com the site displays in a micro format (about 20% of the screen in the center), too small to read at all. Yet if I use Internet Explorer I do not have these issues. I have cleared my cache etc (no luck) How do I fix it.

I recently deleted all cookies & site data & now whenever I search for something using Google I get the following message (below) where I also have to fill out a Captcha in order to proceed. This only happens with Firefox. On the same computer I have Microsoft Edge which has no problem with Google search. What's the problem with Firefox? Will give up this browser if this continues.

There is no Preferences category under my settings icon. There is no Content on the left side of the page when I go to Settings There is no Notifications label from which to select Choose.

Firefox will not play Netflix, Hulu or Disney. Edge does. You recently updated my Firefox to 96.0 64 bit. Netflix gives this error

Hello, I have problem playing nba matches on watch.nba.com (all the videos on the website included) I can play them fine in chrome and edge but firefox seems unable , when I click watch nothing happens. it stays in the same page and the same layout

When I load Amazon.com, the webpage is a lot of text and random pictures. Amazon's layout is broken. I loaded the same page in Chrome and Safari without a problem. I reinstalled Firefox 99.0.1 without any improvement. Please fix.

I had to do a computer reset on my laptop back to factory settings, everything ok now except one annoying issue I cannot seem to resolve. Some websites I was using perfectly ok in Firefox before now show as tiny text/font size and or generally looks wrong (in firefox) and nothing I do seems to resolve the issue, for example I'm viewing some websites at 130% but some text on the page is still too small. I can view the same sites in chrome with no issues at all at normal 100% level, The best example I could give I can't paste here for obvious reasons, my hargreaves lansdown pension values text is all squashed together so individual text that shows on one line on chrome (correctly) shows as condensed into 2 lines in firefox, the text is big but the values beside it are not for example, any increase in the zoom level doesnt really resolve this issue, yes the text gets bigger but I shouldnt have to read it at 150% zoom !!! but 100% is waaay too small, and the values size is not in sync withe the text beside it. I count myself as fairly savvy technically, I've tried all sorts including clearing cache and cookies and checking settings etc in firefox but this one has me stumped, some sites work ok but it looks like Firefox may be struggling to cope with some sort of display extension that some sites are using to display some parts of their page Any ideas please ? I am using Firefox and have noticed that when I do a view page source I do not see the current page, but a cached copy. To view the page source I first have to go to options and delete data.

Here is how to reproduce. 1. Go to a website showing changing data 2. Right click and select view page source 3. Examine the page source to see that it shows an older copy of the data, not the current data 4. Go to options and search on the term 'cache' 5. Delete the cached data 6. Go back to view page source and try again 7. Now the page source is the current data seen in Firefox

https://www.puticollege.com/welcome was working fine with version 82 of firefox. When I upgrade to 93.0, this page has a big solid blue box where more html should be shown after a page. No error in console log, not sure what's going on.

It still works fine in latest chrome.

ASUS recently updated the firmware on my home router. Since then Firefox does not work when accessing my ASUS router's management console. By this I mean that I get a blank white screen after connecting to the router. How do I go about debugging this? I am guessing that the issue is caused by one of the add-ons that I have installed in Firefox, but I guess it could also be a setting I have made. In any event, I am looking for a quick methodology to figure out what is causing this incompatibility.

I have successfully logged into my Docusign account from the Firefox web browser on my Windows 10 computer up until now. All of a sudden when I try to log in, Docusign tells me I've entered an invalid password. The password is valid, I've tried it on Microsoft Edge and in the Apple iOS Docusign app and have successfully logged in. They both prompt me to get a code from the Microsoft Authenticator and I do not get that prompt when I attempt to log in thru Firefox web browser.

Recently I started getting an error saying SEC_ERROR_REVOKED_CERTIFICATE while trying to open a website. That particular site can only be accessed through my demat account so replicating my situation is not possible. Other browsers like Chrome, Edge are able to open it but Firefox cant, it does only when OCSP is disabled. I reinstalled the browser but the problem remains. Pls tell me how to add that website to exception if its possible or delete all the certificates currently loaded on Firefox or a full reset of the browser removing all previous data. And is it okay if I keep OCSP off all the time?

Hi, Firefox search bar is not letting me type search term in it, defaults to address bar. The only way i can search is to put search bar in next to address bar. Has this other search bar been disabled or is it a glitch after the update? If anyone could help that would be awesome.
