I have linux LMSDE7 Mint, Firefox will not sync. I click on the 3 top right corner lines, sign into Mozzilla, the bookmarks have not synced. Then if I go back to the same lines, it has still the "sign in" field, clicking has no reaction. It seems that mozilla is not signing in I have an other linux version, winux, there I have no problems, it syncs ok.

In the past weeks Mozilla VPN is not working in Italy. As of today, I cannot connect to any of Mozilla VPN servers. Everything fails, ping is stuck. I am connecting via Vodafone Italy as my ISP.

Hi There are image display issues with Firefox. The attached image shows a screenshot comparing the same page on Glazy.org: Chrome on the left and Firefox on the right. The image appears too dark in Firefox, making it difficult to work using that browser. Is this a bug or a setting that needs adjusting? I haven't been able to find a solution. Thanks for your help.

I have webpage (Home Assistant instance) on my local network on which I would like to use microphone (for Assistant functionality). Page is completely local, i.e. not visible from Internet. My issue is I can't force Firefox to allow microphone access on this page. I've tried messing with media.devices.insecure.enabled config, but it didn't help. Is there any way to add such page to some whitelist to allow microphone access? From what I gathered Chromium-based browser provides "--unsafely-treat-insecure-origin-as-secure=..." option but I didn't find anything similar for Firefox. I know I could expose my server to outside network and get SSL certificate (from Lets Encrypt) to make it work, but exposing server to Internet just to get local microphone access somehow doesn't feel like a more secure solution. I could probably also issue self-singed certificate but dealing with that also seems at least annoying.

Hello, For about two or three days now, when I launch Firefox and try to open any website, it takes maybe one minute to load the page, then the navigation is OK on every website.

It only happens when I launch Firefox for the first time of my session. If I close it then relaunch it, it's still very swift.

I tried clear cache and remove cookies, just lost my logins lol but didn't work. I also tried with no extensions, nothing changed. Lastly I tried to set "network.captive-portal-service.enabled" to "false" in "about:config" but it didn't change anything neither.

So before I try anything else that could erase something on my profile, I'd rather ask here for some help :)

PS: running FF 153.0.4 on Debian Trixie with Mozilla repos. Only have two extensions: µblockOrigin and NoScript.

I've tried several times with different updates to use the AI-enhanced tab groups, and it has never given me actual useful suggestions of group names. It always shows me the most generic of names and chooses almost randomly what tabs to group. This is a thing that AI should be good for, but it looks like it's unaware of what is the content of my opened tabs.

Is this feature improving or I can disable it and stop it from consuming my CPU?

I'm not a tech savvy user. Although I am using a personal network could Mozilla be interfering with the link of my Linux computer to the HP printer? Any suggestions on how to remedy this?

After I received a notification of a suspicious sign in from Brazil I attempted to change my password.

All went fine until after I received and entered the 6 digit OTC. When I clicked "Submit".... nothing. I tried to reset the password in a Private Window with the same lack of success. I can request the code, receive it via email, and enter it but am unable to submit it.

My account was accessed again from Jakarta and it now appears that the password was changed. On the Profile page it notes that the password was created 08/13/2026.

I am trying to set up firefox to add a passkey to sign in into bitwarden.

In bitwarden I added my Yubico key in order sign in into my account. Unfortunately, when I try to log back into my account with my Yubico key it doesn't work.

Does firefox support passkey ?

I get the most generic error when trying to set up a backup password. This happens for any kind of password I try to input, including the same one used in my Mozilla account. This happens whether the password is simple or complex, regardless of length or characters.

I recently switched from Debian to Fedora Workstation. Everything works fine, even better under Fedora, except Firefox. There is this quirk, where whenever I wake up my system from suspension, and I try to search something, Firefox just shows a loading sign as if it was loading the page, but I see via the inspect tool that it isn't even sending any HTTPS requests to the server. I know this problem specifically affects Firefox, because other programs that require an internet connection, such as fetching mail via Thunderbird or installing packages via DNF work completely fine. In order to get Firefox to actually work, I have to completely close and reopen the application, forcing me to lose unsaved work in some cases. I've tried everything, from restarting my machine to waiting to see if it will be patched in a future update, but nothing has gotten better. Please help me. Thank you in advance.

Anyone succeed with running Firefox in headless mode under Ubuntu?

I installed Firefox as from "https://packages.mozilla.org/apt" repo.

I have albinism. Pure white backgrounds are not an annoyance – they cause physical eye pain and trigger migraines. Every time I visit support.mozilla.org or accounts.firefox.com, I am forced to endure #FFFFFF with no way to change it.

To anyone about to defend Mozilla blindly: this is about accessibility and eye pain, not brand loyalty, so do not silence me.

What Mozilla has done:

• Disabled extensions (Dark Reader, Stylus, Dark Mode) from modifying these pages – they are explicitly blocked by Mozilla's own Content Security Policy.
• Removed ui.systemUsesDarkTheme and layout.css.prefers-color-scheme.content-override from having any effect on these sites – they ignore prefers-color-scheme entirely.
• Left no about:config toggle to disable the forced light theme.

The only remaining workaround is a userContent.css hack with filter: invert(1) – which requires a visually impaired user to manually edit CSS files and restart the browser. That is not accessibility – that is hostility.

Security excuse – debunked:

• "We block extensions for security" – extensions are sandboxed. Blocking them on your own support pages is a deliberate policy choice, not a technical necessity.
• "We want a consistent brand appearance" – branding does not override accessibility. Forcing #FFFFFF on users with light sensitivity is a violation of basic inclusive design.
• "We respect prefers-color-scheme" – you do not. These two domains explicitly override it.
• "Users can just use Dark Reader" – you block it.

What I demand:

Make support.mozilla.org and accounts.firefox.com respect the system prefers-color-scheme media query. If you insist on light branding, add an official dark toggle in the site header – stored in a cookie or account preference. Stop blocking extensions from applying user‑chosen themes to your own sites. That is not security; it is control. You are a non‑profit that claims to value accessibility and user control. Your actions say otherwise. Fix these two domains. No CSS hacking should be required for basic vision safety.

I have st installed Lime on my old Asus Zenbook an have installed Nord VPN. I am using the Firefox browser showing connected to the internet but am unable to access my webmail account and its popping up messges advising Problem loading webpage and another showing 502 Bad gateway. I am also having problem with the Zenbooks Keyboard with keys randomly not operating when pressed but will work after a prolonged or multi pressing.
