The mouse-left click button does not work since last two updates!

The link is OK, floating menu with right click can open it in new tab, but left-click on buttons, divs, links is dead for a while

Something was changed in Firefox in the wrong direction.

Please help

I'm using Firefox 104.0.2 (64 bit) under Windows 11.

Under Settings I have selected Startup Open Previous Windows and Tabs.

I normally have more than a dozen tabs.

For the past few days, when I start Firefox my previous session is not restored and I just get the single Firefox tab.

When I got to History there is no longer a Restore Previous Session option.

How do I get it back?

Trying to use ProctorU with Firefox 104.0.2 on Windows 11 Home, and I am getting the following message : "Monitor Count : You may only use 1 monitor during your exam. Your monitor count could not be found". I searched for possible fixes, and someone mentioned removing fingerprinters, and possibly also remove cookies and tracking content from Firefox enforcement. I removed all 3 and that did not help. I also tried clearing cookies and site data and also cached web content, this did not help. Is there some other setting in Firefox that might be preventing the detection of the monitor count? Any suggestions on how to fix this issue?

Is there currently a keyboard shortcut to switch the focus to the Bookmarks Toolbar?

If not, are there any plans to add one?

If not, I would like to request that functionality.

I need to exempt a site from the pop up blocker process. When I go to Privacy & Settings/Manage Exceptions, there is no text box or other way for me to enter the site. Am I doing something wrong or do I need to change some other setting to allow exceptions?

For some reason my desktop browser version of firefox does not sync passwords with my mobile and other versions of firefox. There are NO passwords saved on my desktop version, and when I try to sync my mobile phone to my desktop there is a permanent error. I have downloaded about sync and it also shows multiple errors with my Sync.

hello !, I formatted my PC and installed FF after that tried to log in but i forgot my password. so i changed it by using forgot password option. but then all my data(Bookmark , password, history...) didn't show up. i tried downgrading but still nothing. Please is there any way that i could get my former data back?

Although I have selected "Open Previous Windows and Tabs" in Start-Up, my windows and tabs were not restored when I inadvertently quit Firefox. I then went to the three horizontal bar Application menu to look for "restore previous session", but it is no longer there. Is it possible to restore the possible to restore the "restore previous session" option in that menu? How can I restore previous session when I have inadvertently closed Firefox? I'll be grateful for advice. Thank you

The following websites no longer display text and are unusable (the newest one is lowes.com):

https://www.lowes.com no text visible; search works if you just type and press enter, but you cannot see any text; this one just started in the past few days (I used it about a week ago w/no issues)

The websites work fine in Microsoft Edge Chromium.

The images attached are from Lowes.com - "FF" meaning Firefox, "EC" meaning Edge Chromium.

I also tried creating a new profile w/o all the security turned on. No luck - same problem.

I recently switched to Firefox from Chrome. I imported all the bookmarks and passwords from Chrome into Firefox on Windows.

Next, I installed it on Linux and later on Android. The sync is not working properly that is what I noticed. Basically I have all the data on my Windows PC Firefox. It is not syncing between other devices, that will be my notebook running Linux and my Android Phone.

I read other similar question son the forum and did a Google search as well. I already did re-install a few times to no avail.

How do I fix this?

Firefox browser occasionally downloads unknown htm files with 0KB size. If I open the file, what I see is just an empty file opened in firefox browser. I have absolutely no idea why this is happening or in what situation this happens. Has anyone heard of or solved this kind of situation before?

How to delete saved passwords and how to talk to a technical live person? TOO HARD TO GET HELP MAYBE I SHOULD GO TO ANOTHER BROWSER? When I click the download button I usually see my recent downloads and click open the file directly from the drop down. After 10-20 downloads are performed the drop down no longer shows my recent files until I restart firefox. I think the issue is once you hit a certain amount of downloads the preview drop down no longer works. Is this a know bug? Its happening on any pc, im on version 104.0.2 (64-bit)

After the second to the last update to Firefox I started experiencing an information pop up message "Could not determine any profile running in backgroundtask mode!".

Is there a fix for this?

Mozilla VPN indicates that it connects to the internet as normal, but I'm unable to go online with any app or access the internet. As soon as I disconnect Mozilla VPN, internet and apps work fine again.

I uninstalled Mozilla VPN and reinstalled the app, but it still is not working.

    My Firefox browser was updated to 104.0.2 (64-bit) version and since then there is no sound. When I open the same website in chrome I'm able to hear the sound of videos and news.

Hello, On several occasions I have tried to purchase online products/sevices with my AmEx/BA card. Each time the payment has been help up after entering the one time passcode. This then sends the info to AmEx's 3rd party middle men, i.e. Adyen payments. At this point everything stops and the web page just hangs. No payments go through to AmEx, so nothing is charged to my account. I have now been told that " ...in all probability, it's your browser that's causing the problems with AmEx's third party service providers." This never happens if I use any of my other credit cards. So, is this a load of bull that AmEx are feeding me, or, is there a real issue with Mozilla/AmEx.

Any input is welcome before I go back to AmEx and tear a strip off them.

I'm pretty sure I'm not alone when I ask how we can disable the "Update available" popup in the top right-hand corner that appears every time we open the browser.

I have auto-updates turned off because I would like to choose myself when to update the browser and really hate being nagged by the update popup to do so!!!

To be clear, I don't want to turn off updates entirely with the "policies.json" file that I've seen with other questions; I just want to disable the update popup and still be able to update periodically AT MY OWN DISCRETION.

I really don't know why it's so hard for FF developers to give us that popup disabling option. I have always suggested using FF to people I know for over 10 years, but will no longer do so and will be looking for an alternate browser if this continues.

FF is becoming more like Microsoft by trying to dictate what's best for us at the expense of user experience.

Hi, since some weeks, my Firefox browser is super slow after changing networks. For example, when I'm on Wifi and then switching to normal wired network, Firefox is loading any content only very slowly, despite the connection is super fast. Other browsers like Chrome or Edge don't have this problem. The issue can be very easily resolved though: I just have to close and restart Firefox, and it's super fast immediately again. Still it is annoying, as I switch networks pretty often. Please support. Thank you!
