When loading certain pages (on web application) the motion icon starts and after several seconds it changes to the sand clock icon despite the setting described in 'https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1303416' being done - ui.prefersReducedMotion set to 'false'. My work is all done in this web app and it is very important to see when data is being uploaded (grey/black dots) and when the page is supposedly being refreshed with updated data being downloaded (blue/green dots). Why is the preference being ignored and how to fix it so you always get the motion?

I have a requirement where instead of showing the 404 error or 503 error on screen, I want to display a blank screen. I have already tried to set the following configs to false -

security.insecure_connection_text.enabled security.insecure_connection_icon.enabled security.insecure_connection_text.pbmode.enabled browser.ssl_override_behavior security.ssl.errorReporting.automatic security.enterprise_roots.enabled security.tls.version.min

Is there anymore steps to do or any userChrome.css script is required.

PS : I cannot use any extension or addon to do that

I keep getting 'notifications' from Mozilla Firefox that McAfee has discovered a virus, Trojan, and other things. They come on the lower right corner of my screen and the address d3mj6kghubcc73dtudhg.kaironero.co.in is along the bottom of the notification. The notifications pop up every time I turn on my computer and go into Firefox and they just keep coming after I dismiss them. They are in small rectangles and have Mozilla Firefox written across the top left and say that McAfee has discovered.... Are they legit or are they spam and how do I stop them? I don't have McAfee installed on my computer which is a desktop. Please help--this is driving me crazy!!!

How can i download a pdf of my passwords. I think i need to set up a lock screen first. Please give precise instructions how to accomplish both these tasks. Im having great difficulty signing in and out of sites so until i figure out how and why things have changed i need a list of passwords. My device is currently unlocked. I have trouble finding my way back to my questions here. Why doesnt firefox have a history function? Sometimes it does but its not recent. I put all these questions together because its too difficult finding my way back to every individual question. I have a hundred questions about firefox so many that its daunting to consider as it would take me days to do and its time i dont have. Somehow my firefox account has gotten too confusing and complex

Hi, I just installed the latest update (I think it's 136.0.2). I guess I skipped some/several versions. Suddenly my main menu isn't workin anymore (clicking it with the mouse, that is) There is some overlay which I can't find out, how to remove. Even the Minimize/Maximize/Close buttons don't have any function. Luckily I can still access the menu via keyboard shortcuts. How can I remove that overlay bar ... or did I catch some malware ?

When working hints on Ancestry.com, under certain conditions a second scrollbar is generated to the immediate left of the right hand scrollbar. This second scrollbar is used to move downward in the hint compare area on the right hand side of the open page. When running under Firefox on Windows 11 systems "this second scrollbar is not there"! Everything works fine using any other browsers (EDGE, Chrome, Brave), but not Firefox! Works fine on Windows 10 systems. I have tried this on 3 different Windows 11 computers with the same failed results.

My account was probably hacked. I noticed this from an email I received from Mozilla. My account was logged in from Africa, which i noticed from the timezone because the email gives literally no detail. I logged into my account to kick them out but i found out i couldnt because the button didnt work. All the other kick buttons worked except the hackers. Mozilla has done nothing other than to email me.

I keep getting a pop-up for"sign documents online" in my Firefox browser. Several others have reported the same. It overlays the browser content so I can't use Firefox at all. My only option seems to be to uninstall Firefox and use a different browser. Is there a fix?

Running Windows 11. Receiving notifications from Firefox that indicate system warnings and viruses found. I have run several scans using Norton and there are no viruses. This notification is enticing me to click to remove the errors, which seems to clearly be a phishing scam, but I have never seen this as a notification from my browser as opposed to an email. When I try an option to "disable notifications", Norton blocks it due to it being identified as a dangerous "blacklist URL". I can't find a mozilla setting to block this.

The URL is long but what I can see is the following. via d3nt17anaffc73eqftbg.owx-adguard.pro

I just received a toast from a sidebar app. Unsolicited notifications are the fastest way to get me to dump your app. I recommend Mozilla implement user-level control to disable notifications from sidebar apps. In theory, Mozilla is already supposed to be respecting my preferences on notifications. I have authorized notifications from only one website, and it wasn't the one for which I received this notification. There's a disconnect there.

Very often while navigating around the website of a tool I use, I get an intrusive pop-up in the lower right corner. A screen shot is attached.

I first approached the website owner, but they explained it's a browser issue, no a website issue. They did, though, suggest that clearing cookies and cached might help ... But it didn't.

Is there any way to suppress that?

I suddenly started getting a flood of messages informing me of various security risks and that i needed to click a link to sort this out. Needless to say, I DID NOT click any links. I am only getting these messages when I open Firefox. The messages all link to "securebotshield.co.in". I ran Malwarebytes but it does not pick up anything. I am running the latest version of Firefox on a Windows 11 machine. Please can you help me get rid of this menace?

Thanks
