This is an exact copy of a question with the same title by Steve Ediger, of August 2022, now archived.

Firefox has my credit card information and it shows up in a window when I go to pay for something, but when I click on the credit card I want to pay with, the details appear on the form but get removed almost instantly.

I am in UK. It was working until recently.

None of the earlier answers have helped.

For the last day I've been having a problem with FF slow to load. I've tried the troubleshoot mode with little change. When it does load I can have problems with certain web sites loading e.g. Youtube, MSNBC, AOL mail etc. It's never consistent. The cache is clean and I've saved all the relevant cookies, I checked my internet provider and they are having no problems and I don't seem to be having any internal hdw issues e.g. ethernet cable connections etc. I reinstalled FF-not a clean install and seemed to help for a time. Do I have any options other than a refresh? I don't seem to be having the same issues with Edge or Chrome. All W11 updates are current. I look forward to anyone's comments.

I've been having a problem with FF for the last two weeks. At times downloads accessing web sites are slow or even get hung up. Usually reloading or refreshing the page fixes the problem. I tried a FF safe boot and things seemed to work better. I have had the same four extensions for quite awhile. Are there any reports of UBO causing issues?

I'm trying to access my https://mypay.dfas.mil account, but, though previously all was well, now an error message tells me that you "can't connect to the server".

I have a network connection, but apparently Firefox may no longer have "permission to access to the web". I'm sure this is wrong because I can still access pretty much everything in the normal way, including other government sites, such as Social Security, using the Login.gov portal, though mypay is not listed as 'connected.'

What happened, and how do I fix it? Also, the error message says that I should "Check that Firefox has permission". How do I do that?

Hello, I clicked on a vendor link with a email on Outlook webmail and was refused a connection. Not even given a choice to bypass it. This is a reputable vendor associated with my professional work. Please let me know a work around for this browser behavior.

Internet page is having issues, I try to open my email account, mu Norton password account, my bank all keeps timing out wont let me use google, I cant use your webpage, tried to sign it it wont let me, 2 tries change password it states im locked out, what is going on

It seems certain sites are prone to fire popup tabs, with any click, right clicks included. I close them immediately and the second click acts normal, getting the nav result I was asking for. How to strength the popup blocking function to stop this distracting behavior? Thanks for any pointers. This may prevent me from staying on FF.

Hallo. ich habe den Adblocker deaktiert und entfernt. Trotdzem scheint er noch im Hintergrund zu arbeiten. Manche Webseiten fordern mich nach wie vor auf den Adblocker zu aktivieren. ich kann deswegen bestimmte Seiten nicht nutzen. Vielen Dank im Voraus für ihre Hilfe. Viele Grüße Gerd Christophersen

On approximately Jan 15th 2025, I was blocked from accessing my internet provider's website/my account.

I have worked with their techs on two occasions to resolve any possible issues on their end. We have determined that the problem is with Firefox/Mozilla's security, as they show no blocks on their end.

We tried with a new account, new passwords, but are still blocked. Please advise. I have enclosed a screen shot of what happens when logging in.

I downloaded a PDF and used Firefox to view the file. I'm trying to find key words in the PDF and I always get phrase not found. As a test I inputted a word I found in the document but find in page stated phrase not found. What am I doing wrong? I remember that I have used that feature in the past and it worked.

I have been messing with my computer and this morning Firefox had ceased to function, and I will be looking for my extensive bookmark list here or on another drive.. I just feel that windows 11 is pernicious!!

In current version of firefox when attempting to log in to yahoo.com I get the error message from AT&T:

Something's gone wrong We may be having trouble with your connection. Connecting your device to Wi-Fi could help fix the issue or try again later. If you were using an app, close this page. Otherwise, start over.

No error when using edge or chrome.

Hello to you up there ! I have Windows 11 - 23H2 up to date ! since 21/1/2025 each time I start Firefox (up to date 134.02 - 64 bits) I get a warning from Malwarebytes Browser Guard that blocks a outgoing request coming from Firefox via port 443 to the IP 82.221.136.1 ( = welcometothemachine.co …. what is that ?? analytics ? AI  ??) .... I am asking myself why is Firefox trying to go to that IP because I never did ask for something like that and how to delete the whole request every time now .... (CCleaner does nothing when used) ... bizarre bizarre behaviour yes ! Who can answer me. Can you please also answer me on geomar@scarlet.be because I would not like to miss the answer ? Thanks.
