I-Firefox Isithangami Sokwesekwa

So I have the latest version of macOS Ventura, the latest version of Firefox, and the latest version of Roblox. Whenever I try to open a Roblox game from their website (yes, I know. Roblox now has the desktop app so you don't need the website to open a game), it opens the app, but not the link, which means it doesn't open the game :( Does anybody know how to get Firefox to open the link and not just the app? (Btw no hate on firefox)

My computer 'guru' reinstalled Win10 in order to correct a serious problem. ALL of my programs were gone and I was left with a raw Win10. 6/12/2023 was last date prior to the disaster. I reinstalled Firefox. Using the "firefox.exe -p" I can only find the default profile. I DO HAVE a full backup done using the Win7 Backup and Restore feature. How do I resurrect my most recent profile? I will need to find the files(s) manually from the b/u. When I did a Full Restore the bookmarks didn't appear. Where and what files am I looking for? Hi I'm experiencing slowness especially in youtube thumbnails scrolling down. when video is playing if I click on settings to choose video quality etc it takes like 2 minutes to even open. This slowness not present in edge browser. I want to try older ver but I thought if someone might experiencing same or know what might be the problem

I have been unable to login/sign in to my job website. It is not a network connection issue, nor that the website is temporary unavailable.

I keep getting this message:

'If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure that Firefox is permitted to access the web'

I had a financial transaction on an business account that I did not enter. The tech services people told me it came from from my PC. They are a big company as opposed to a small 'mom + pop' operation. They suggested I take PC in to a Big Box store to get PC scanned and remove any virus/malware found. Contacting the big-box store they said they could scan my PC remotely to look for virus/malware.

So, my question is: Should I take pc to local computer experts/big box store or purchase virus software to use myself?

I do have several free virus protection programs on my windows PC.

I have a DSL router and can not talk to it. It does not support https protocols but when I put in the address 192.168.0.1/status.html it changes it to https:192.168.0.1/status.html. This is a laptop and I have talked to another route that uses https at the same address but at a different location. How do I stop it from doing this?

Suddenly I'm having issues clicking on links in emails that I get from known sources. Some say the website is blocked ("This website is blocked due to your current protection level. Please contact your network administrator to gain access."), others warn me about invalid certificates (and I ignore and proceed to, as I know the websites), but those pages never load. I've tried everything in another browser, and they function flawlessly, so it's not my Watchguard firewall nor Windows settings. I have the same issue sporadically clicking on email links in Outlook, so it's not only on links clicked IN Firefox (browser-based email). I've completely disabled all the Enhanced Tracking Protection, but still, nothing. I booted up another notebook, and it's exhibiting the exact same behavior (and that notebook doesn't have Norton on it to be an issue, (though I already have it completely disabled on the computer in question).

The tracking redirects that are causing me the post trouble are "http://trk.klclick1.com/ls/click?upn=..." and "https://t.e2ma.net/click/..."

As I mentioned, these are in emails from sources I get regularly. One is a website that sells their own products, and the latter is for a content-oriented site. The one that gave me problems from Outlook was news content, and (curiously enough), clicking on the image yielded the blocked site page, but clicking on the news heading beneath it got me through to the article in question, so I just figured it was an HTML email coding issue.

Youtube, sometimes, loads for ~5-10 seconds on average for no reason, doesn't load the video or audio at all. Extremely frustrating when I'm just browsing, it may not seem like a long amount of time but I shouldn't have these issues to begin with. Cleared cache, no addons are out of date or tamper with Youtube. Tried every fix I could find on the matter, nothing seems to have worked. Issue persists. I had similar issues with Kaspersky AV installed, so I had just uninstalled it. Prior to this newest firefox update, I have had no issues at all.

Firefox can sync anything except logins and passwords between different devices. I have selected "Logins and passwords" at "settings-Sync-You are syncing these items across all your connected devices", but it still dosen't work.

When I logged on today, I realized that my Firefox homepage was not displayed. Only three Firefox webpages were displayed.

Furthermore, when I did open a new page, it was not my homepage. All of my homepage icons have been replaced with many others; Reddit, Wikipedia and such. None of mine were displayed.

When I opened GMail, my Inbox font size had been changed.

Does this mean that I have been hacked?

When I browse youtube I normally open videos in a new tab by right clicking on the thumbnail and selecting open in new tab - Menu is displayed with options specific to the LINK i just right-clicked on. i.e. "open link in new tab" , "open in new window" , "bookmark link", etc.

Now, when I right click on a youtube video thumbnail, a different menu appears, with options relating to the PAGE (itself)- i.e. "save page as..." , "save page to pocket", arrows to go to previous/next page, etc.

I tried to troubleshoot in safe mode but it's the same problem. This is on both my PC and Mac. What could the problem be? Appreciate your help!

I frequently use the website Cookie Clicker. After Firefox updated, all the history/cookies for Cookie Clicker seems to have been deleted. I think that only the Cookie Clicker website has been affected... which sucks because I made a LOT of progress in that game. Is there a way to fix this, or am I out of luck?

Just restarted PC and opened Firefox, but with my normal Firefox, another page popped up which was a Firefox guest page on the website:

The website was "Not Secure" so I just closed out of it, was wondering if this is a cause for worry or if it's just a minor issue. All help is appreciated, thanks.

I cannot get the Firefox Browser Page to fit the screen on my laptop. I constantly have to hit <cntrl> - or + to zoom in and out. I have to do this for every tab I open. This isn't an issue with other browsers. I'm about fed up and ready to quit Firefox. I'm not "tech savvy" so if you respond use baby language. I'm operating on Windows 11.
