Ever since the last update, I can no longer watch recordings on xfinity stream with Firefox. What happened? Can I fix it? I sometimes have to start watching programs late, but they wont play while recording. I can watch those same recordings when they are finished, but not while they are still recording. I can watch those same recordings while recording on Chrome and Safari so it's not an xfinity problem. But for some reason not on Firefox anymore Is there a setting I need to change? Thanks Ron

i have tried multiple extent ions to disable ai in the search box on Firefox an nothing works i still get ai. Again why does everyone think ai is so great. why again are people not given a choice like do you want or not want ai. HATE AI IN SAMSUNG GEMINI AND GOOGLE do not want ai anywhere ion my computer or i phone and please let me know if there is an addon or extensions in Firefox to not see it in my searches in google searches

I synced the wrong Firefox profile to mY Mozilla account. I hence deleted the account to get a reset. But now I can't sync any more, because I get the message: your profile was previously synced to a different account, create a new profile. How can I activate sync again?

Greetings, I am on the spectrum with aspergers. I have issues with organization, lining up objects, etc, but I am highly intelligent and present well. I have no doubt society is aware of all the tropes that surround folks with my......difference. I have an incredibly hard dealing with change, and it sometimes wrecks my mental health. The changes are constantly throwing my health and welfare for a loop, and it is really harmful.

Everytime I get firefox setup to where I am comfortable, something new gets shoved down my throat. How to stop the constant feature change diarrhea abuse is inflicting on my health? Recent example. I only use 2 search engines, and I cant deal with the rest, its a colour thing sorry. I have had my search engines set up like this for 14 years.

Recently, firefox decided that I should go for another life rollercoaster, even though I didn't ask for it, and that I should permanently have things like history bookmarks tabs and actions as search engines, and they shouldn't be removable.

I don't have a history, as I value my privacy. I don't have bookmarks, because I remember everything and it sucks, and I type about 350 wpm. Tabs information is within history, so I see firefox as duplication idiots in this case, and I don't do any actions, not even sure what they are and I really don't care at all.

My parents are considering a lawsuit against firefox for accessibility issues like this, as 1 of my dad's best friends is an accessibility lawyer.

Hi! I´m using Jdownloader2. After an update of Firefox the captcha-extension of JDownloader didn´t work anymore. I reinstalled Firefox, but adding the extension is still prevented. Following quote appears: "Firefox hat die Website daran gehindert, Sie zu fragen, ob Software installiert werden soll" It should be in yellow (but it isn´t), like following site describes: https://support.mozilla.org/de/kb/Add-ons-koennen-nicht-installiert-werden#w_firefox-hat-die-website-daran-gehindert-sie-zu-fragen-ob-software-installiert-werden-soll Furthermore there should be a button to authorize the installation. Instead there is only the button "OK". I followed the help-site mentioned above to the letter, to no avail. By the way, I´m using Nightly now, but JDownloader2 automatically wants access to Firefox. My Firefox VPN is still showing as nearing my limit, despite it now being October everywhere in the world. Why hasn't it reset to 50GB? I've tried restarting Firefox and it didn't make any difference. It still shows "Getting close to your VPN limit. You have 2.2GB of 50GB left this month."

When I login to a site where there are many widgets (windows) on the screen - the windows are all missing scroll bars. If I login under a different browser they are there. This happened about a week or so ago. It has to be a setting change in Firefox. Please advise.

I have the latest Mozilla browser. I have Yahoo Mail and each time I open an email from Kohls.com, the images appear for a split second and then disappear and are replaced by a white box with a little symbol in the upper left corner. This only happens to about half of the images in the email. If I open the email in a separate tab, the email appears normal. This only occurs in Firefox, not in Edge nor Chrome. I have used aI to check all of my security settings and nothing is wrong with them, it is just something of how Firefox renders the Kohls.com emails. They are the only emails that act this way. Well I am continuing and repeating my question placed in August 2026, where I found that Firefox V154.x stalled in an erratic way that made it completely impossible to use it or to send a crash report. So your suggestion to send a crash report was not very bright or helpful. I deliberately omitted the subsequent updates, to try again after a main version update. Alas, we have the same situation again in V157.0, this time more predictible. The program stalls immediately after trying to open another tab. And again, you can kill the program only by task manager.

The additional question I have, is how to switch off the annoying update message, as long as Firefox is dysfunctional after an update, I'd like to avoid any update under all circumstances. I have to work with Firefox, so it is more than an leisure thing for me, I cannot afford to cripple Firefox by an unintended update.

Hello, I am attempting to export a signing certificate PKCS #12 file, but I get an error message stating "failed to create back up PKCS #12 for unknown reasons". Is there anything I can do to fix this and export the certificate?

When I watch YouTube videos, Firefox behaves strangely. After a few minutes of watching, I try to scroll to the comments, and then Firefox starts to lag. Scrolling becomes very sluggish, and the entire image freezes while scrolling. The website stops responding, but the sound continues. The only way to fix this is to minimize and then maximize Firefox. Then I can scroll again and the problem starts again. This problem occurs regardless of whether I clear the cache, use an ad blocker, or which screen I'm using Firefox on. Sometimes, one of my screens even freezes and displays stripes. However, this only happens when I'm using Firefox and YouTube. I have no problems with any other applications for exampmple playing games on one screen and let music streaming app playing on the other screen. Even my Cubase 15 work like sweet on booth screens without errors. Why is firefox acting so strange? Firefox never completly stops or closed itself.

Firefox Version 157.0 (64-bit). AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition 26.8.1. Windows 11, version 26H2 installed October 1, 2026 (previous updates also had the same issue with firefox).

I also got some Firefox Updates when i opened it. I was hoping they catched the issue but it seems like the same.

Hi. This is more of a bug report than a question, but after new update our company got a big problem: we print from firefox, but we had it set up so as we open the PDF document it would open directly into Adobe Reader (and then print). After update this is no longer available, altough the settings say clearly "open with Adobe/windows application". Is there a possible solution? Thanks for the answer
