Hello, The bar at bottom of my home screen is missing. The whole bar is gone. This bar had the windows icon with start-up menu, Power, button etc. That bar also included date and time, and other features. Once, I clicked the bottom of the screen and it came up for one second, but disappeared. How can I retrieve it? Thank you for any help you can provide.

I have Firefox set to use the built-in .pdf viewer to avoid Adobe's intrusive AI features. I have disabled Adobe's AI features in the Acrobat settings, that does not seem to apply when Firefox opens the Acrobat reader. Consequently, I have to fight off AI "suggestions" and offers of help when I simply want to read a document from the web.

So I set Firefox to use the built-in reader. After 1-2 seconds, it switched to Adobe, and brings up all the annoying AI features. How can I keep Firefox from switching to Adobe?

As a test, I renamed Acrobat.exe to AcrobatX.exe. Firefox behavior did not change. I also killed all Acrobat-related tasks in Task Manager. My document still displayed in Acrobat after 1-2 seconds, but none of the Acrobat-related tasks reappeared in the Task Manager.

I am using Firefox 145.0.2 64 bit in Windows 11 with all updates current.

I get pages on my cell phone which also uses Firefox and saying my phone has been hacked and has "Google Security" on top. this is just one example. I am trying to see if Firefox has a screen for this.

I canceled my google account because our computer was hacked. I can no longer get into my PayPal account and to add funds to my account so I need to open a new account so I can automatically pay for apps, etc

Be nice. Our volunteers are Mozilla users just like you, who take the time out of their day to help.

Be descriptive. Saying “playing video on YouTube is always choppy” will help us understand the issue better than saying “something is wrong” or “the app is bro ken”.

Follow through. Sometimes, our volunteers would ask you for more information or to test out certain scenarios. The sooner you can do this, the sooner they would know how to fix it.

All of a sudden I lost all my Gmail accounts on firefox and I don't know why. This is the second time it has happened. Can I get them back? How?

I am having problems with logging into the VPN app. I paid a one year renewal in November 2025 and have had access to the app for both logins that use this computer. It is an Apple M1 Macbook Air. On Wednesday, when I tried to connect, it sent me to a page to select a plan for payment.

Then when I tried to sign in again, it gave me the spinning circle shown in the attachment. It has now been a couple of days where I have not been able to use the app.

I do have access to the built-in VPN for one of my logins, but not for the other one. I have gotten replies from general support that told me to try the special support for VPN.

It is important to illustrate my problem, and I was careful in uploading it, yet I cannot find it and I cannot figure out how to update my post.

Have "ghost images when i have an app or several apps open. How do i turn them off. Here is a picture of what i mean attached

I’ve been testing how different browsers handle redirects and external triggers from game-related tools, and I’ve noticed something odd with firefox. When trying to launch certain experiences or apply custom settings from external links, firefox doesn’t always behave the same way as chrome or edge—it sometimes blocks or ignores the flag triggers completely.

for example, I’ve been working with a roblox-related launcher that uses something like a fast flag through bootsrap to customize the client experience. everything works smoothly in edge, but firefox seems to either strip the flags or block the redirect entirely.

is there a setting I should look into that might be interfering with these calls? could enhanced tracking protection or strict HTTPS enforcement be playing a role?

would appreciate some help....
