I find that I dislike many of the standard installation configurations. I'm a tech and install Firefox to get users away from those "other" browsers. But there's too much I don't like and it takes me too long to reconfigure each new installation.
So... I'd love to have a configuration script or something that could be run with the Firefox installer, full one if necessary, that would do all the tweaks I do after a new installation.
Examples. Remove all the extra stuff in the area to the right of the address bar. Leave and change download arrow to NOT hide when not currently used. (Who thought of that should be fired). Put old bookmarks icon back in place of other one. Remove the blank spaces on each side of the address bar.
And configure non-default options such as ask where to download instead of default to downloads, load previous tabs on startup, set default home page, disable password remembering, etc.
And, ideally allow installation of add-ons I always utilize like Bitwarden password manager (much preferred to Firefox's storing them), and Adblock Plus.
Any chance of any of this becoming available? Really don't want to use one of the screen recording/macro programs to do it.
Thanks.
