above it assent easy to find a way to contact you for support

For years now Mozilla has been forcing users to add a userChrome file to get their tabs BELOW the address bar. They have also been changing the rules for doing it every so often so users have to go back and modify their userChrome.css files.

WHY doesn't the Mozilla development team wake up and make it easier for users to maintain the look and feel of their UI to match their preferences. It shouldn't require a special .css file to make this happen.

PLEASE add settings in the about:config (or better yet in the tools/options) to allow users to move the tabs below the address bar line.

I just want native full-screen. It's 2021- why is such a simple feature still impossible!??? (Heck- even F11 doesn't work on my computer). Please please please- just a check-box for "Always launch in full-screen mode". Speaking of such matters- your smooth scroll option ain't! I have to use Logitech's extension to get it and even then there's no speed control. I see this endlessly- companies focus on glitz and gloss over/see through the essential basics (It's what killed Opera!).

I'm running Firefox with Win7x86 on a Biostar desktop I5 motherboard. All was fine until the latest Firefox update 88. or 89. when the bookmarks (star with a pan underneath) drop down list became doublespaced. I would like to get back to single spacing -- too much vertical slider activity.

Suddenly, cache is not emptying when 'Clear data' is used. Also suddenly, 'Delete cookies and site data when Firefox is closed' preference is faded out/ unavailable. 'Never remember history' is checked as usual but cache does not clear when Firefox is closed. All cookies and data cleared without problem 2 days ago. This has never happened before.

Tabs in 89 have moved to the bottom of the screen obscuring web page content. How can i move them to the top where they were? I am not a programmer, so a simple solution would be helpful.

Now there is a huge white bar up top with my open tabs.

I prefer it how it was in v88

How do I get it to look like it was before the update?

The search bar is displayed on the home page. And you can even put a cursor in it. However, as soon as you start typing something, the cursor shuffles into the address bar and the text is entered there!

This is absolutely schizoid behavior! The worst UI is simply impossible to imagine!

Why didn't you give users any choice? Don't you care about your own users? This is absurdly allogical behavior of the interface! What fool could have thought of such a thing ?!

Besides the fact that it is corny inconvenient, there is another extremely important disadvantage. Users suffering from cataracts put a dark theme for a reason - they otherwise see badly.

So what happens when the user has a dark theme and the start page displays a huge whitelist at the top of the screen as they enter text, what do you think? I can tell you - a user with poor eyesight is blinded for a second.

Guys, when will you start thinking before changing the browser for the worse? Seriously, Firefox has lost its entire user base over the past few years. This is very disappointing.

Upgraded today [05 June 2021] to Firefox 89.0. Very unhappy with this version.

What is the procedure to revert to either Firefox 88.0.1 or 87.0?

How many are moving to a different browser thanks to Firefox/Waterfox incessant dialog prompting to 'update now'? There used to be an option to turn this off. No longer. Weekly or bi-weekly updates are rarely of any consequence anyway, so why must we endure prompt after prompt after prompt. Not everyone can stop what they're in the midst of to update on command. Speaking of incessant, I suggest Mozilla put more work into stopping incessant crashes. Now that would be an accomplishment. Rarely does an hour pass without my browser crashing. Say what you may about old Internet Explorer; at least it didn't crash all the time.

Fed up Firefox user my friends also agree the last update altered my laptop with windows 10 and tower pc using windows 7 cant read the text the colours are rubish i require both items put back as they used to be, why not use BLACK TEXT instead of the so called pleasing to the eye colour gray its not pleasing to my eyes, it looks like to me the updates are for the iphone brigade the latest update was 03-06-2021 20210527174632 please dont expect me and others to rectify something that we did not put on our pc's

Latest Mozilla Update has bug! Just downloaded v.89 and now even when I am signed in to a website, Firefox is asking telling me that the website is "asking for my Login", yet screen shot shows I am logged in already.

All fine until this UPDATE.

I realize now if I don't immediately allow updates then my ability to start up my computer after shutting down is delayed for ... an hour or more. I don't want to allow updates, as they are becoming more frequent; i can only assume they are in league with the likes of a microsoft update which is, essentially, a fishing device to scan my computer to record my searches and communications so they might sell that information, or, for other more nefarious reasons. i HAVE stopped the ability to update from Windows - internally. Just because I'm paranoid doesn't mean "they're" not out to get me, right? Funny, huh? There's one other thing, however. I can't communicate with customers. And when I can't communicate with customers, I LOSE MONEY. ... fix it. I don't mean a patch over a patch over another patch. Maybe a line of code? Anybody there?? That's what I thought.
