I restarted my Windows 11 laptop and got error message about user profile. Restarted again and looks like it was corrupted so deleted my my user profile and Firefox config and bookmarks are gone!

Still have all the files just a new user profile and the old one is gone?

Any help how to get Firefox bookmarks back would be much appreciated

I want replace firefox Windows Mozilla MSIX 1- 0 package browser from ms store with regular downloaded version but I do not want to lose all my settings.

How do I go about this?

I transferred by Firefox bookmarks from my old computer to my new Windows 11 computer. I think they transferred fine. But to access them, I have to click on Bookmarks and then go down to Manage bookmarks and click on it. Then I see them on the page that has all the Import and Backup access on it. How do I get them to appear in the side panel as a list like they did on my old computer?

I am a web dev and have a user download link to an excel xlsx file. On my own system it downloads fine in Chrome but in firefox ot displays the raw contents. Is this a FF setting?

I just got this new computer and want to transfer my FireFox bookmarks and history to it. I cannot access my old account because I do not have access to that email anymore, and you require me to get a code sent to that email to log in. That is still on my old computer that was originally running Windows 8, and has been deteriorating ever since Microsoft jammed Windows 10 down it's throat.

I might still be able to export the bookmarks if there is some way to do that.

The best way would be if I could access to that old account without needing to access bonin006@umn.edu my current email is wayne@nano-dyne.com

browser.cache.disk.enable, is re-enabling itself on every Firefox update. WHY?! I disable disk caching and SSL caching because I use a fast NVMe SSD and I don't want to use up all the write cycles to it.. cookies caching is fine with me...

It has been doing this on every update for a while now.. this is annoying and not ok.. please fix.

I keep getting intrusive mozilla / Mcaffee advertising banners on my screen when firefox is open. avast won't stop them. It only affects my new dell laptop windows 11 computer. It looks like the code for firefox has been invaded. How do I block updates to firefox or get ride of the adds?

Updated my Win 11 laptop with latest changes and find the fonts on pages and on tabs is all messed up. I've tried Settings to choose larger size, set defaults to Arial and/or Arial Round .... does not help.

How do I either fix this, or undo this update, or is there a fix coming ASAP??

Over the weekend I finally updated my Microft Account to the Cloud. During that process my Firefox Brower, which I have used for YEARS became unusable. When finished got the message in the screenshot attached. Tried reinstalling. Did not work. Tried unistalling today then reinstalling same message.

Erg. I am so upset with Microsoft for hijacking a completely useful tool which is my default browser, and has been forever.

I have many problems with Firefox for Windows 11. Unfortunately, it occupies a very high amount of cpu above 88% and memory above 700 MB with two or three open screens and has a very high battery consumption, consuming more than 41% of 100% battery in less than an hour. Also, I used it a lot in Windows 10 and it was not like this at all, and its automatic update was perfect in Windows 10, but it does not work in Windows 11. I am constantly getting a message on my Win computer saying an update for Firefox is available? Happens all day, many times a day. But when I press update, nothing happens.

After last few updates, Firefox does not work with some web app . Ona Navionics chart viewer I can not create route even in manual mode or automatic, something does not work in your bro-wser, beacuse in Rdge everything working correct.
