Hi, Everytime I'm connecting to a website I see, at the bottom left of Firefox browser, some displays like : data transfer from pilaff-up.ru data transfer from m.stripe.network Are these sites suspect ? How to block them  ? I'm using Firefox 90.0b3

firefox updated itself today to 89.0 (64-bit) and now when i try to use the search bar on my firefox home page it jumps the text up to the address bar instead of typing into the search bar to search. i do not want to use my address bar to search... it's also annoying to try to use the search bar and have my text show up in another part of the screen.

actually, it doesn't even search, it just types the text in the address bar then tries to go to the address and fails.

how to i reverse this change?

After an automatic update Firefox had a terrible surprise for me. A beyond ugly user interface. And NO WAY to fix this with a simple toggle switch back to classic mode. There are theme's available, but still it looks unusable to me. This kind of updates should be beyond Mozilla, maybe don't hire former Apple employees, the esthetics don't have to be " slick and modern"

So after a long fight with almost losing my plugins, saved tabs (100+) etc.. I downgraded successfully to 88.

Step 1 (Secure your profile) Open menu, Click Help, Click "More Troubleshooting Information" Go to the line which says, "Profile Folder" Hit open folder

Pay extra attention during these steps: Now you are browsing in your active profile. If you did this after upgrading to 89 version. Make a back-up copy of this whole folder!! Rename it back up.

Open the file "Compatibility.ini" with a text editor, and empty it. Save and close.

Download and install the previous version of Firefox, After installing don't forget to disable automatic updates.

If the profile isn't loaded, browse to "about:profiles" and find and select your profile to get al your plugins, tabs, favs, etc. back.

Its a terrible shame i need to write this down for people to avoid the frustration of a terrible update

on forefox browser i am getting this error for videos if playback doesn't begin shortly, try restarting your device. youtube and streaming service like prime video i am having same issue and on other browsers videos plays .

Why does my address shown under "Firefox Accounts" differ from my actual address?

This is shown when I go to Firefox Accounts -> Settings -> Connected Services while signed in to my Firefox acct with my e-mail.

It shows my computer name, and underneath it the following address: Boardman, OR, United States.

I am about 1,500 miles away from Boardman, I have never lived in, nor visited Boardman OREGON, so I'd like to know how this address showed up there, and of course, how I might be able to change it to the correct one.

If this is an indication that someone or something is bugging my computer, I'd like to know that too.

Following problem since last update (89.0, 64bix, Win 10): When I call my list of bookmarks (Alt+L for Lesezeichen in my German Firefox), the lines in my list are much farther apart than before (see attached screen shot). Thus, I now have to scroll down to reach the lower items in the list. What can I do to get back the former, narrow list of bookmarks? Thanks a lot Hansueli Hof

Updated to version 89 and am not pleased with the visual/graphic interface changes. The tabs are very difficult to read. The new graphic layout fails to clearly identify each tab as a distinct entity or thing to be selected. The text just looks like a long string of text and in some instances of long names on a tab the text just fades away to nothingness.

Please make each tab a "distinct thing by creating a different colored edge on three (3) sides of the tab. Or perhaps have 3 levels of lightening/darkening the table to differentiate it from the background on which it is displayed.

Does the development team have a graphic designer and/or have the changes reviewed by a group of graphic designers?

Please change this please or put the user in charge of how they want it displayed.

Dupa actualizarea automata am un program proaspat instalat, nu o actualizare - si nu mi se pare ok. Toate link-urile din bara de adrese au disparut si tot istoricul a fost sters - de ce?????? Aveam niste pagini salvate care acum le-am pierdut - parole care acum s-au dus si trebuie sa recuperez totul din aduceri aminte. Din start actualizarile nu ar trebui sa stearga ce aveai si sa instaleze un program "pe curat". Este a doua oara cand patesc asa ceva. Cred ca o sa renunt la browserul dvs.

This is my second attempt to resolve my issues using this forum...the first attempt was interpreted by the volunteers as a request to return to the previous version. Am I correct that firefox doesnt recommend returning to the previous version. So I simply want to do two things with the current version...go to single spacing in the drop down menus like the Bookmarks menu....and....change size of the test in the upper toolbars like the menu bar. Now tell me why I cant contact firefox directly to get the help I want...??

There is no menu showing on the left side of my YouTube screen nor can I see my channel menu when I click on my photo icon (upper right) so I can't access my channel pages either. The "ALL" video preview links are gray when scrolling down beyond the initial first page. If I'm viewing a "Live" feed and try to go to a 2nd or 3rd view of that feed I get a "An Error has occurred" message.

I've turned "Hardware Acceleration" off and cleared all the caches I have access to but to no avail.

This just started yesterday 6/3 after what seemed like possibly a new version of your browser is now in use.

YouTube does seem to work OK in MS Edge browser but I do not want to use Edge since my Ad Remove is not covered there and I just prefer not to use that product.

I've used Firefox for years, and this is, by far, the worst update to date......

the newly upgraded version of Firefox 89 is horrendous!!! How did you manage to get it approved for "universal design" to make it "disability friendly"? I find it visually unfriendly, it does not allow for the level of adaptation some of us might need to make it more visually friendly and easier to navigate

please provide instructions for those of us who prefer to go back to version 88! or make additional changes to correct version 89 to make it more user-friendly like version 88 was......please!!!!

(and lesson learned, I will stop doing "upgrade/update available" if it's going to result in the horrifically unfriendly version I'm having to deal with right now )(or else you all are really trying to push people to Chrome and/or Edge, which I assure you, is not my preference)
