Hi

I have a wordpress website which has been working great for 2 years until recently. When I view the website as the public it works fine. However, when I log into my wordpress account my blog page isn't working as it should. Screenshot attached - top image I'm logged out, bottom image I'm logged in.

Each blog posts shows as a clickable title in a box, but the boxes aren't visible. I know the links are there, because if I hover over them I can click them, but neither the box or the title is showing in Firefox.

If I log on from other browsers the blog section is showing as it should. It's only happening in Firefox. I've contacted Wordpress support and they confirm they can log in to my account and see the links and titles fine, so it's definitely my browser.

I've already tried:

  • Updating Firefox, which tells me it's up to date
  • Clearing cache and cookies (no change)
  • My website already has all permissions granted
  • Turning off add-ons and extensions (I only have 2 in any event, and this didn't help)
  • Turning acceleration on and off (no change)

The weird part is, if I clear the cache and log in I can see the blog section fine. But the second I click on a blog post, then go back to the main blog section all the links have disappeared again!

I have 4 other wordpress websites and it's only happening on this 1 particular site, so I don't think I need a full clean install of Firefox if everything else is working correctly.

Any help appreciated!

My ability to access PNC Online Banking has recently stopped working and receiving pop-up messages to try using another browser. I contacted PNC Tech Support and was told their system is optimized to use Google Chrome. Love my FireFox browser and do not want to download Google Chrome. Any suggestions as to locating and adjusting a setting to allow my FireFox to work with PNC Online Banking?

I went to a government site and filled out a form letter and each time when I hit the VERIFY key the reCAPTCHA function tells me I have a bad connection and to recheck it. When I hit the refresh (circle arrow) link, it works. It happened on another non-gov't site and did the same thing. I did a Firefox refresh and that didn't help. It seems that version 87 has some bugs in it methinks. Any ideas? thanks

I tried to access a website but Mozilla will not permit it as it says it is a potential security risk, probably due to an expired certificate. But when I went to the help page it said to contact the website owner to let them know about the difficulty as they might not realize what is happening and that they need to redo the certificate. How do I contact the website owner when I cannot access the website?

(I would love to include an attachment, but your page here will not let me. It only accepts 'images' and what I have to share is a Word document with a printscreen of the refusal to allow access tab and the information from the webpage to 'contact the website owner'.)

Gmail seems to be the worst site. Alphabet letters and numbers are missing from words and dates in subject lines. Same in the left folders column. Elsewhere, photos will not display properly. I'll only get bits of an image. Refreshing may resolve the problem momentarily but then it reoccurs. I reinstalled Firefox, but that didn't fix the problem.

Why don't all websites automatically resize to fit the firefox window (when 'normal' size). Several updates ago - webpages stopped 'resizing'. Webpages that formally displayed fine, are now too large (the indicator shows 100%, but I must reduce it to 80% to display as it did before). I have - and have always had - my bookmarks sidebar 'open' and websites resized depending on the amount of space available. This no longer happens. Reducing or enlarging the bookmarks sidebar only 'slides' the webpage R or L to view the additional info (like using the scrollbar on the bottom). This only happens on some websites (e.g. Home depot) - but other resize as normal (e.g. Motley Fool). Is this a Firefox issue or the website developer issue?

thanks

Some websites including facebook (which is the one I notice it most on) and blogs don't load images or text correctly. At first some images, not all, would have yellow or green stripes going vertically through the images. Then things got worse and got yellow and green pixels. Now it is getting to the point where text is also looking like gibberish. This isn't everywhere, just on some pictures and some text. i do not have the same problem using other browsers. I do not have the problem all of the time. I have refreshed firefox. I have uninstalled and re-installed firefox. I have deleted cookies, etc. Nothing seems to help. This has been happening on and off for a long time but is progressively getting worse.

I recently had to have my iMac wiped and restored, and ever since, the ESPN website has looked weird.

Here's how it looks on Safari -- to be clear, this is how it should look and used to look on Firefox:

And here's how it has looked recently on Firefox.

Notice how the black banner at the top is cut off on Firefox, and how the Top Headlines bar isn't visible. I've tried resizing the Firefox window and still have this problem. Happy for any suggestions you have.

On all other websites I can seen the scrollbar buttons but not on Youtube. I'm running Windows 10.

On Linux Mint MATE 20.1 (and Ubuntu 20.10) the scrollbar also looks different from the default theme.

This seems to be a problem being caused by "youtube.com".

Why is Firefox allowing websites access to the scrollbars? Does anyone know why this happens or if there is a solution?

Thank you.
