my pc os updated to win 11, browser keeps asking to set firefox as default I have done this several times; in win11 app setting screen; so is it a bug in browser or in win 11, I will hit the ignore option. This is a FYI to Mozilla team. Artwin Sturnacle, asturnacle@msn.com

When I go to Settings - Cookies and Site Data - Manage Data, it doesn't show all websites that have stored data. Even including for which sites I have a tab open, and I can literally see in the dev tools they have cookies and other storage. Maybe not all of them cache, but most do, and all those sites definitely have other storage like localStorage, and cookies.

How can I get the mentioned feature to *actually* show all sites that have any kind of data that I might wish to clear?

And if I find 2 or 3 sites are missing from there, how many more are missing that I'm just not noticing?...

after a flooop update there is an annoying side bar. I want to remove it but there is no information on how to do it! can someone please help me figure this out. When I went to Flooop , it just rambled on about firefox, I am using Floop!!!! Help me if you can, thank you.

i am a new user of firefox and selected it to securely access some websites. I followed the instructions to set firefox as my default browser but the search bar still says" search with google or enter address " and it shows google as the web browser , When i click the dropdown menu firefox is not an option . How do i set this so firefox is the browser ? i am using windows 11 .Thanks in advance.

when i open google maps, it opens to Europe. I go into the privacy and security, I clear history, cache, whatever I see that might be causing a problem. NO success. I still open to wrong location. HELP please [edited email from public]

Often (though not always) Firefox will prompt me to "Make Firefox your default browser" when first run or when run after being closed, despite me clicking "Set as default browser".

According to "KDE Settings / Default Applications", Firefox ESR is the default web browser and the default file association for HTML files. Firefox and Chromium (and I presume Konqueror) are installed. A similar laptop with similar software on it does not exhibit the problem.

What is Firefox actually checking to determine whether it needs to ask "Set as default browser"?

I cannot get full details on my banking page with Firefox anymore. It is my primary browser . I had the issue with Chrome also when I tried it but it was ok after removing Norton web app. I removed that same app from Firefox but only get a header on USAA and nor details of my banking. Why there is no option to use/configure a local running ai chatbot in the "Choose an AI chatbot to use in the Firefox" sidebar? Or does it exists and I didnt see it?

How do I turn the private windows off. I constantly have notifications for it. When I open Mozilla, it's in dark mode and I keep having to go to the regular screen!!! And when i go to different web sites and pages, i get a screen that asks me about location! I don't want to approve it every single time I do something! It's so frustrating!! Please help me! I have no keyboard access to any application running in Firefox. It was there one minute and gone the next.

I've checked everything. Closed restarted. Haven't uninstalled and reinstalled, but that seems extreme as I've never had this problem before.

I need to, if for no other reason than deleting entries in my telephone address (Contacts) book!

SInce early August the cache2/entries folder in my drive C:/Users/../AppData/Local/Mozilla/Firefox/Profiles/yaddayadda folder has been filling up with junk files with long hex hash names .. up to 146,000(+) files amounting to 57GB(+) each day. It's tedious to delete them manually. Can't Firefox delete like it used to?

I can't find anywhere here the procedure to disable the nuisance "AI". Can someone send me an email and let me know? Send it to [edited from public]. Thank you. Proton Man
