When will Firefox add Save Page button? Lots of small browsers has that for decades. It helps a lot to save WebPage and view them Offline by oppening the app then browse to saved pages. That fast and easy.

Extension to SaveWeb takes a lot of time and need to open another app to view them.

I just activated the new tab grouping feature (that has been something I've really wanted from FF so that I can start getting away from Chrome) and I've tried it out and have been happy with it so far. I understand this is in beta still I think and I had some questions:

1. I notice that I'm not able to save and close a tab group, is this expected functionality until tab grouping goes GA?
2. I notice if I have my tab group minimized and have a tab open (that is NOT a part of the group) and I close that tab that the whole browser window will close. Is that also expected?

Really excited for this functionality to continue taking off; I do love a way to organize my many tabs!!

When using the PiP feature is there a way to switch whether it pauses the video when closing the PiP player?

Often if i want the audio to continue but dont want the popout player there and if I press the close button it will just stop the audio. If I select the PiP window and use the shortcut CTRL + SHIFT + ] the audio will continue playing as I want it however this is inconvenient and requires using the keyboard, is there any way to change it so that closing the popout player doesn't stop the tab from playing audio?

Hello, would like tabs titles to be styled like in attachment (screen is from Simple Tab Groups addon). Especially would like to decrease (vertical) gaps between titles. Is it possible by editing userChrome.css or something like this?

Can I change colors of individual tabs? without an extension?

Maybe add an option to right click and select a color wheel or color selector to assign a color to that particular tab. Especially if its bookmarked or pinned.

I'm wondering if there's a way to MOVE open browser windows in the way that you can move tabs around within a window? I do a lot of research and I work this way in order to go back to a particular subject and continue where I left off. Right now I have 20 windows open with any where from 5 to 12 tabs in some of these windows. When using my pointer I see only the tab that was opened in a particular window when I closed FF. I tried holding the pointer and dragging the open windows in the task bar...but no luck.

I guess I'm asking if there's anyway I could get a quick view of what every tab in every window open actually is, or perhaps use search words to find what I'm looking for?

Support Firefox to be able to use different tab view modes on different windows! For example, two Firefox windows on different monitors, in my situation below:

- One on a 1920*1080 hori screen, with vertical tab sidebar disabled - One on a 1080*1920 vert screen, with vertical tab sidebar enabled for this window only in this case.

It brings much more convenience, at least for situations just like mine :)

I'm using Firefox 135.0 on a MacBook Pro with a large external monitor.

The menu bar at the top of the screen (NOT the Firefox window) has "Firefox, File, Edit, View, History, Bookmarks, Tools, Windows, Help".

When I click on "History", it shows me the most recent 15 pages I visited. Always 15. I'd like to increase that number, as 15 is inconveniently few and uses less than half my screen height. However, I can't find a preference for it either under "Settings" or in "about:config".

I know that there are at least two ways to get to a more extensive history list, but they need more clicks.

So is there a way to change 15 into a larger number?

Hi Folks:

For desktop Firefox.

Until a couple of weeks ago I could have a search bar next to the address bar.

This allowed me to enter a search request and then see the search result's page with the page's address in the address bar.

If I wanted to repeat the search, or modify the search, the search request would still be in the search bar.

Now I only have the address bar. If the page found by the search isn't what I want I need to re-type the search into the address bar where it will be overwritten by the address of the result of the search.

That can be inconvenient.

I no longer see the option for a separate search bar in Firefox's search settings.

Am I the only person who misses this feature?

Is the separate search bar available if I know how to ask for it?

I just added Search on Google Lens to my Firefox "Add-ons Extensions" because I need to identify a simple image, but I can't figure out how to make it work. I put my mouse pointer on te image and right click, but I do not get a context menu with a Google Lens choice. What do I need to do to make Google Lens work on my computer?

I FEEL LIKE A TOTAL IDIOT WHEN USING Firefox Browser. It is the only browser I use and I have been using Firefox for 10+ years. I've spent thousands of hours using it but due to my GREAT IGNORANCE of the best way to use and maximize my efficiency, my precious time is being wasted. I FEEL LOST MUCH OF THE TIME. IS IT POSSIBLE ORGANIZED MY USE OF FIREFOX IN A WAY THAT WILL MAKE IT A PLEASURE TO USE? For example my Windows fire Explorer if very organized and based on a logical system that I created. With Firefox I've created hundreds Bookmarks and I've started organized them but it doesn't automatically sort a folders or bookmarks when I put them in and that is a huge inconvenience because I sometimes forget to do that and then I can't find what I need.

I've built computers and installed hardware and complicated software; I've done a little bit of Excel programing as well. I am a well educated person with a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry, and I also have several post graduate certifications but I feel like Firefox is cumbersome to use. Now that "feeling" has to do with my ignorance most likely SO is there anyone out there who can point this frustrated researcher in the direction that will make me a virtuoso with Firefox? With all the very smart people who invented and maintain Firefox, someone must have created a Firefox course to turn a Firefox user who can get a hundred times more done in a fraction of the time it is currently taking me.

Here's a good example of the kind of things I need: 1. First, let me convey just a brief context of my endeavors, and then I'll submit a some ways in which my Firefox browser could much more helpful. I do a lot of teaching in several technical areas of science (physics, mathematics, chemistry, financial management an investments, predictive models for targeting future needs vs resources for individual and group advancements, and with unique considerations for cultures/philosophical diversities, the role of pattern recognition in cognitive architecture and in subjective/objective conscious states of alertness paradigms; medical science, philosophy, learning theory and methods, I also teach music theory and composition related to the guitar, violin, and piano. One of the reasons that I like Firefox is it's Privacy protection, but I'm confident that if I were more "edumacated" about the complex subject of privacy I would like "accessorize" my interaction with a world that has plenty of "bad actors out there". Consider this fact: I am a skilled surgeon whose quick hands and mind have been involved involved in multiple acute life threatening injuries. This means that I use a kind of magical thinking that I learned long ago, and that thinking is the difference between life and death for the man whose left renal artery was ruptured in a plane crash. He is losing blood internally and must be treated immediately, He will arrive at trauma center in 10-15 minutes vial helicopter. I am already scrubbed in and ready for his arrival as is my very experienced surgical assistant who has prepared all the surgical instruments organized in the sterile surgical room. Firefox must be like my surgical assistant. Every tool I need for research, for probative accumulation of essential information must be readily, available, so I can focus of the important task of stopping the blood loss quickly. For example I could in my Bookmarks create project related folders with the specific tabs I would like to have open, the question would be is there a way I can open 5-10 links in a folder, with a minimal of clicking? I'm sure there are other smarter ways to work but I don't know Firefox well enough to know how to shape it around my specialty needs. I stick with Firefox because it is apparently one of the safest browsers. I have installed a few Add-ons and Themes, like "Tree Style Tab" and "Go To Playing Tab" both of which I like. I'm still trying to figure out how to have Google Lens work on my Firefox. I read all the instructions but nothing seems to work. Is it me or is it a problem with Firefox browser, or what?

Can you integrate MS Authenticator as Password manager for Firefox? I like storing some passwords directly in Firefox, but Authenticator is easy to carry on his phone and on othher apps.

Hi, BIG fan, but.. Is there any way to "convince" the beauuutiful dev`s to give us a radio check box in the settings that says "I know what I`m doing so I will update when I see the need" (and in fact turn off the veeeery annoying "UPDATE!!, UPDATE!!"... window, that is driving me inane. Comes up like something was on fire :( then it is just some minor thing for those that love streaming... that means... not me. I don not want to, but I probably have to (after umpften years with the fox) start looking for a browser that does not drive me nuts. Give people the option to update if and when they want to, without a over needy window in the top right eeevery 10 seconds, give it a rest, please?

I am evaluating a password manager application and exported my FF passwords and imported them into the app. For testing I removed all of the passwords from FF. I want to password protect the csv file rather than delete it in case I need to import the passwords back into FF. When I go to File/Info, the "Protect Workbook" option is greyed out. When I go to the "Review" tab, the option to "Protect Workbook" is available, not the "Unprotect" option, so the workbook is not protected. If I click on the "Share" folder on the right side of the ribbon, there is no "More" option. In Windows Explorer the file is on my desktop, not OneDrive - Personal. I right clicked on the file, selected "Give access to" and took the option to remove access. The File/Info option is still greyed out. How can I password protect this file or how can I export it in a format that can be imported later?

Hello! I really enjoy using the Firefox browser. I just wanted to suggest that you have an option to write notes in each password profile that can also be secure. My iPhone has a notes section under each password profile. I use it to write info such as my airline advantage number, the email I used with that particular website, membership numbers, etc. I'm getting up there in age, so while I'm working on simplifying my life it helps to make notes to remember stuff. Can you suggest this idea to the right people at Firefox or Mozilla? Thank you for your help and consideration. Carolyn

Is there a way to remove the thumbtacks and rounded edges off the shortcuts in the newest version?

I love Firefox otherwise, but the thumbtacks look terrible and are distracting. I use the shortcuts dozens of times daily to open my most frequent sites.

Please remove the thumbtacks and overly rounded edges in the new version.

Is there a way to hide the thumbtacks?

When attempting to print a report from a website, I received this notice:

"For best print result; please enable the "Print background colors and graphics" option in your browser."

I haven't found a setting for this, Is there a setting for this?
