I tried to Reinstall Firefox Browser to overcome "White screen" problems. At the end without any input from me, I ended up with--- a White Screen". But I got me Pics and a short video for you. I'm terribly sorry if it is irrelevant to the issues you talk about. Also, As I'm navigating through, I saw some very promising Information by Mr. Jan-Ivar Bruaroey, on chatting while sharing screens. It would be the dream solution to the nightmares I'm facing presently. I don't know how to upload the video, but here are the freshly created Photos.

Currently, I have configured my Privacy & Security settings in which all third-party cookies are blocked. This causes certain websites to break and become nonfunctional.

How do I configure my settings to which all third-party cookies are blocked by default, but for specific websites I choose they are not blocked?

I do not want to change my settings in which cookies are blocked only from websites I have not visited; because there are some websites I frequent that I still wish to block third-party cookies.

Thank you

Suddenly, cache is not emptying when 'Clear data' is used. Also suddenly, 'Delete cookies and site data when Firefox is closed' preference is faded out/ unavailable. 'Never remember history' is checked as usual but cache does not clear when Firefox is closed. All cookies and data cleared without problem 2 days ago. This has never happened before.

This is a security problem. Checking emails I often suspect a spam so I do the inspect to find the URL that they want you to go to. But on Google I can inspect it using the search of the URL and not move to the URL. But on the Firefox new tab it seems like I'm supposed to go to the spam website as I'm not to search the URL, just go to it.

So is there a way to change this?

And oh yeah I did finally figure out that the older computer (that Microsoft killed with an update) kind of made some of the problems I had before using Firefox. And now I'm back to really liking it. So again is there a way to stop the Firefox new tab from forcing me to go to the spam URL? Over all I can ignore it and just use Google home page. Thanks if you know how to stop that.

Recently, Restore Previous Session is not working like it did before V.89 (and the removal of Tools > Options).

Here are my settings. When I close and reopen Firefox my open tabs do not reopen like they used to.

Is this a known bug or something I'm doing wrong?

I set my primary password yesterday since I was leaving my laptop with a service person. Today, Firefox tells me the password is incorrect. I am entirely confident I know what I intended the password to be, and it seems wholly unrealistic that I made the same typo twice in one entry, yet I've trial and errored almost every possible typo I can think would cause this. I am really not sure what to do now, all my accounts are locked behind a password that is not the one I set less than 24 hours ago. What can I do?

I have a problematic site where I have to delete all cookies before I can get access. I have tried setting the "Cookie and Site Data" Exceptions to both "Allow for Session" and "Block". Despite these settings, Firefox continues to store cookies from this site....therefore, I still have to clear them from the "manage data" area before I can gain access.

Is this a Firefox quirk? I am at a loss.

Thanks.

I have been a Mozilla Firefox user for years, today I used CCleaner and since, have not been able to use Firefox as I wish. I downloaded a new Firefox Browser, installed it, was able to use it for a short while, but when I stopped using the computer for a while and came back to it, I can only get Chrome, and cannot get Firefox up and running again...I have even uninstalled Chrome in the control panel, but it is still popping up when I click on my Firefox icon!! Help!! FF is my default browser, has been for years!!

I have tried to attach a screenshot of Google on my computer, it won't let me attach it, no matter where I save it. How do I get them out of my computer? I need help!!

I have tried task manager, 7 instances of Firefox w/0% CPU, No instance of Chrome showing.

Hello, I would like to know how I can avoid having to enter an account authorization code everytime I sign into my laptop. Everytime my laptop hibernates or shuts down I come to find that though I login first try (with password), EVERY SINGLE TIME I for some reason have to go retrieve a code from my email to complete sign in. This is a huge pet peeve and I want to know what to do.

When entering credit/debit card details something in the settings or addons is stopping the process and the purchase fails. I am still able to make payments with a different browser so it is a Firefox issue.

I am using a PC with Windows 10 and Defender security. Everything seemed to be ok until the latest version of Firefox but I suspect there might be a conflict between the browser security settings and the addons.

I have used Forget Me Not, Privacy Badger and Adblocker for a few months without any issues but I'm not sure now if it's not overkill.

Would be grateful for help regarding any known conflicts - I suspect I don't need Privacy Badger but I'm not sure about the Firefox tracking settings as well.
