Firefox 3.6.3 mac, will often crash after playing a few YouTubes or navigating within youtube pages. Are others having this problem? Is there a fix?

Every time I click on a link, in an email (or in Facebook), unless a Firefox page is already open, I usually get my home page first. Then I have to go back to the email window to access the link again to get the page I wanted from the link. Is there a workaround?

When I go to View then to Toolbars then Customize..., I can customize the tolbars just fine, but when I'm finished and click Done/hit Return, the window doesn't close no matter how many times I click done. The only way to get around this glitch is to close out the window, not just the tab. This is very frustrating when I'm in the middle of browsing and have to close.

I accidentaly clicked the "Don't warn me again message" of the warning I get when I (cmd +d) close Firefox, and I can't find anywhere how to reestablish that warning, I really need this; I use Mac and Firefox 3.6.3

During initial install, Firefox loads on the desktop looking like a drive. It doesn't load into Applications like it is supposed to. From that point it won't let me do anything with it.... Please help- I'm running a new MacBook Pro...

I want a FaceBook "Zoo World" web page up 24/7 but it sometimes goes down. Instead of automatically reloading the page Firefox gives me the message "Firefox prevented this page from automatically reloading." Why? How can I get Firefox to reload the page when it goes down?

The NYT home page displays correctly in Safari. It has been like this in the last two weeks.

The center frame is blank for about a half-page length, then starts to display the information.

I have the latest Firefox updates and I have been using it for a long time without any problem. It's running on Mac OS X 10.6.3.

I often receive requests for shipping quotes from overseas. I generally provide a quote from Fed Ex, USPS and UPS. The UPS shipping calculator does not function properly anymore and a representative from tech support provided the reason. Only Firefox 2.x is a supported browser. Can I get around this or is it possible to "downgrade" to 2.x version of Firefox?

Hey Gize. Firefox asks for clearance for every single URL I ask it to load. This thing has a severe case of social anxiety or just doesn't want to hunt. I am thinking of a new default if the workaround takes too much time. What's a busy, underpaid, overworked, underslept MD to do? I use an MBP 3.06 MHz running OS 10.6.3. I have several quick go-to medical references in my upper menu. Fast dial is the easiest of all such devices to use. Pop-ups are not blocked. Ihave to manually okay every web page with this thing.

I am a very sophisticated bottom feeder. I know how to use computers, and many MD's are switching to Mac, which is lost on many developers. At the last large & important conference I attended, Mac Book Pros outnumbered Windows boxes by about 2-1 or 3-1. I don't have the time to learn technospeak, and the same goes for the rest of us.

I do not understand why firefox doesn't display the 'keywords' property of a bookmark when I create a new bookmark.

(I have had mixed luck updating the install script for openbooks on newer firefox versions, but it would be nice to not have to do this..)

I'm on a new Mac Mini running 10.6.4, bought in January and loaded with what I assumed was the latest version of FireFox--what I have is 3.5.2. I know I upgraded at least once since January

When I try to download 3.6.8, it says that I "don't have access to some of the items."

I don't think I've downloaded any plug-ins or anything that should trigger this. I have done a bunch of the standard upgrades that Microsoft incessantly sends out to fix problems in the Office suite. Haven't added any new applications. Can't figure out the problem. HELP!

I know how to add jpegs, pps, wmv, etc when using Safari - (and it works) - but when I use the same procedure for Firefox it says "Temporary scanning unavailable for the file" in a pink bar across the monitor. Recently bought all the software for my new 27" iMac to be able to read (and hear) pps files, but have not been able to make a clean email when the file is on the desktop.

Formerly, I could change the text of the bookmark in the "Page Bookmarked" window. Now, I can't do that any more. To change the text, I have to save the bookmark as is and go to the Properties drop-down menu choice in the Bookmarks sidebar. This is very inefficient.

I would like to have in the Bookmark toolbar only text (to be more discrete). In the Mac version of Firefox it is like that, but in the Windows version the bookmarks in the toolbar are consistently shown with both icon and text.

There is a choice to be made for the Firefox toolbar whether icons, text or both should be shown for each knob, but for the Bookmarks toolbar I cannot find that.

It is a detail but improves ergonomy for using Bookmarks toolbar.

For unknown reason, I can no longer print emails from my MSN email account using Firefox. Other web sites will print when I am on Firefox. So, is this a Firefox issue or an Qwest/MSN issue?

I use Firefox 3.6.3 (for Mac laptop). It keeps opening some news sites from past and won't open updated sites - even after clearing cache, cookies, etc. Do you have any suggestions?
