Randomly my firefix just get loggedout and when i immediately logged it in again using mozilla i cant see my bookmarks my other accounts my profiles and all my groups and other information it was like i had made a fresh account all my data is lost what to do ? PLZ help i really want my data back i have been trying to get my data. Working on it for last hour.

I'm stuck in an endless loop in Firefox for Linux (MX Linux) whenever Cloudflare is used as security.

I click "verify you are human" and it just loops back to the very same challenge. It isn't broken in other web browsers like Vivaldi for Linux. Or Firefox in Windows 11. Just Firefox for Linux.

Hi, I'm on Linux mint and I can't stop google calendar notifications from stealing focus from other windows. E.g. I can be typing in VSCode with firefox open in another window, and if a calendar notification triggers I'm suddenly typing in whatever tab I have open on firefox.

I've tried disabling notifications for the site, following [post] (though I don't have a padlock in my address bar, I just went to the settings manually), everything Claude can come up with on both the firefox and os level, etc. and nothing has worked.

I need the notifications to still be enabled at the calendar level (so that other devices have them), and I like having notifications in general, just the focus stealing is a dealbreaker so if I need to get rid of them on this device to end that then I'm okay with that. But really I just want to stop the focus stealing.

Any help would be much appreciated, thanks!

I'm using Firefox on Fedora 43 Linux, fully updated, and have it set up to use four desktops on the same monitor, using the Xfce DE and Compiz. For the last several months, any time I click in a link in Thunderbird, instead of switching to the desktop with Firefox on it, it pulls Firefox to Thunderbird's desktop and covers Thunderbird. This has continued through several updates of Firefox and at least one upgrade of Fedora. I don't know if Firefox or Xfce is the issue, but if it's Firefox, where do I look?

I am running 150.0.1 on Debian with Cinnamon. I set the fonts to use for Chinese to a custom fonts, where I left Latin fonts to use untouched, I found I must set Latin to use my custom Chinese fonts in order to display Chinese webpage properly, where the English fonts will get out of place, extra spacing in Apostrophe for example, "It's" will become "It 's", this is particular trouble when viewing on Youtube. But I set to use the same custom fonts on Chrome both English and Chinese displayed perfectly.

I've disabled HTTPS only mode. When i enter a local http://server.localdomain server Firefox upgrades that to https://server.localdomain. How do I disable that?

why did this error occur, wven tho https - only mode was disabled. and i wsa not not able to login the mathworks.com reset password webpage, i wsa able to sign in. this did not occur on firefox. i think it has something to do with hsts Access Denied You don't have permission to access "http://www.mathworks.com/mwaccount/account/resetpassword" on this server. I like having the shortcuts to regular sites on the home page, but its usefulness is spoiled by every site I momentarily visit also appearing and replacing my pinned sites. This renders it basically useless. Can we please have a way of removing 'visited sites' from the shortcuts.

If I open a tab to a specific google sheet I use it won't let me use the split view option (it's greyed out)

I would like to be able to split view the sheet so I can keep an eye on the running totals while I am entering data elsewhere on the sheet.

There have been a reoccurring problem with Firefox that seems to show up in Linux, Windows, and MacOS. When I log into icloud, I get an error message that the icloud username and password is incorrect, even though the same password has been enter in Safari and other non-firefox browser without issue.

I have tried

• Run Firefox in safe mode.
• Clear icloud site data.
• Clear all Firefox browser data.

The only fix seems to be to create a new profile, which seems to point to a profile corruption issue. The problem is that the problem return after a while.

I have a machine I've been using for months and haven't got around to archiving the history and tabs for some research I was doing. I realized this could be problematic if anything happened to the machine, so I decided to sign-in to my Mozilla/Firefox account I made years ago, so it would be safely sync'd.

Everything was fine at first, it showed it was syncing and whatnot, but then after several minutes, Firefox crashed. Upon relaunching, ALL of my history is gone! Neither signed-in nor signed-out shows any history at all, except the searches I've done just now trying to undo this mess. Did I really just loose months of history due to some bug or is there a way I can manually restore or see it from the mess of cache/profile files on my machine?

Ubuntu user, so will be at ~/ or similar for most things I assume.

Hello. I have issue with Firefox. I am often opening firefox by command: firefox --no-remote -P <profil> --new-window "<web_site>" Usualy it works. But sometimes it is opening new window and my web_site is located in second tab. First tab (which is completelly unwated) start loading after clicking on it. It is a recently closed tab. I call this tab zombie-tab. It was finished and properly closed, however it rose from the dead. I tried to set in about:config browser.sessionstore lot of parameter to absolutelly forbid to save any information. However, there is still whole history in the list, sites are restorable and sometimes it appears these zombie-tabs. Restore from crash is also deactivated. I tried before to start the firefox without --no-remote parameter, but AI recommend me to add it there. It did not help. Since it is happening occasionally, I consider it as a bug. Firefox Picture-in-Picture (PiP) Issue

• Problem: PiP window loses "Always on Top" focus or vanishes when switching workspaces/tasks.
• Config Changes: Set 'focusmanager.testmode' to true and 'media.videocontrols.picture-in-picture.video-flips-visibility-on-focus-change' to false.
• Window Settings: Focus set to "Click" via GNOME Tweaks/Settings.
• Environment Test: Tested launching via 'MOZ_ENABLE_WAYLAND=0' to bypass Wayland focus logic.

Software & Tools

• Tweaks: Installed for font hinting (Slight) and window behavior management.

i've seen this before, in different older machines, but i can't remember the remedy. possibly a mouse-screen problem. it started with 150 i think...

Also in youtube, a gray layer covers the selections rendering mouse clicks impossible. clcking the logo, page reloads, but soon the layer covers most of the page. resetting graphics had no result.

Hi! I have a lot of tabs synced in the mozilla account on a device that I have not connected for a while (forgot it at a place far away). Recently I needed to open some of the tabs and while the device was shown in the account the tabs were not accessible. Isn't that one of the major points of using the sync, to be able to see things between the devices??? My reaction - WTF? It's like the perfect lie - hey look we have your device here.... but it is actually just the name. I am so frustrated about this.... why don't you even talk about this? Why is there no warning that my data is going away??? Why is this decision to delete the synced tabs (not the device but only its tabs) from the account happening without any notice, at a time randomly decided by someone? How is that making sense? Why can't the user be informed and make a decision? I think that's one of the reasons why you lose and lose and lose market share, because you don't care anymore about your users, you think all are idiots and you can make decisions for them and restrict their abilities to manage their experience. I know it is free software but it's getting worse until it will become absolutely irrelevant, please stop smoking whatever you're smoking and make more sense with your decisions to add/remove features and alter functionality. Just one more example of another senseless decision - the time options when I want to clear the history. Just 1/2/4h, since 12am and everything.... I am trying but there's no logic in choosing these intervals and restricting the user to only those.... Another one.... the extensions... it's like a dumb game of hide-and-seek to find their options and manage them or to put their icon on the toolbar or somewhere handy and visible so it can be used as it is supposed to be used.... does not make any sense! Ah yeah and the very very old complaint: WHY did you remove the status bar? Lots of info can be added there and it was VERY useful. This was one of the big "WTF is happening with Firefox?" moments.... only downhill from there. I will probably give up on Firefox if it doesn't come back to actually making sense. Not all users are idiots, give them back the power to use your (still good) software in the way they want, stop taking away features and options. And don't forget the power users, take their options away and they will go away.

Listen I have a profile in another partition in Mint and want to transfer my Bookmarks/profile etc to my new 22.3 install but far too complicated. I also have a previous Key which I no longer wish to use as it has deleted all 20 years worth of messages. Please please please just set up my profile again oFirefox or then revert by to the one from 2025 Mint 21.3 Thomas McM Rbold textamos de Deus
