The page: hausamzee.com/inspiratie

I have no idea how to fix this, I guess settings in Wordpress?!?! Hope someone can help me out.

Thx so much! Anne

Since your last updates I have not been able to play hd video on Amazon prime. I also can't play any videos on Peacock(6000 error code) and who knows what else I haven't come across yet. Please fix, I hate throwing away good money on poor playing videos. Thanks for your time and efforts in the matter.

So I got updated to version 89.0. I'm not entirely sure why we have to keep doing this. It looks different. Does it look better? Not really. Does it do something new that the previous version didn't do. Not that I can tell.

What it does do is scroll really badly. It's very jerky and it's giving me a headache. The previous version scrolled smoothly when I used the laptop's touch pad scroll section. (Like a wheel on a mouse but for a touch pad.)

I don't know why we have to keep "improving" things, without actually improving them and breaking what did work.

Is there any way to fix this? Other than Google Chrome?

If I open a new tab the whole application will freeze but video will still play in the background so the actual browser hasn't crashed, so to speak. Everything else on my terminal is fine, I can open everything no problem and continue with my business. Sometimes it will solve itself and sometimes I need to kill the application. It's nothing to do with resources. I've recently upgraded my laptop and I did not experience it on my old one. I have an i711 so the CPU is more than quick enough to handle the processes and 16GB of RAM, so memory is not the problem either. As far as I can see, it is do with Firefox. The add ons I have are all approved by Mozilla so I would assume they're not the problem either.

This hiccup only occurs when I open a new tab and it is not consistent and difficult to predict when it will happen. It's like the laptop doesn't have the available resources to open up the new tab- but it does, more than enough.

I had a look through the help articles and couldn't find one that applies to my situation. I will try to capture it the next time it happens and post the screenshot.

Thanks in advance for any help.

I was doing some research on Microsoft sites related to Microsoft Azure. I noticed that it became difficult to go back using the back button because each page was listed in the history twice. For instance, on this page: https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/services/virtual-machines/

This made it exceedingly frustrating to navigate the site as I could never easily go back to the previous page. At first I thought it was something the Microsoft site was doing (and maybe it still is) but I do not see this same behavior on Chrome or Opera.

I have tried this on the latest versions of all of the above making sure to update each before listing my problem here. Is this a bug in Firefox still allowing some level of history hijacking or manipulation? Or is there some setting, extension, etc. that I need to look in to in order to fix this problem?

Thanks

Hello FF friends, This is a Chinese FF user who last night updated some anti-censorship App which unexpectedly automatically set the proxy in Proxy Server, LAN Settings, Connectivity, Internet Options, IE6. Therefore, when I turned off that anti-censorship App, my FF failed to view any webpage. Before I could understand the true reason for this inability, I had uninstalled the latest FF version 88.01 and then reinstalled this version (or early version), adding backup xxx.default into Profiles (C:\Users\Administrator\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\) and making proper configuartions in .ini files, but FF would not work properly, even after trying a few times of un- and re-installations. Guessing the system might have been ruined for improper manipulation, I even restored Drive C from the early backup system (Win 10, which is good) using Ghost 11, and then installed FF again, for a few time. However, no matter what the version installed is, 84.01, 85 or 88.01, they are all "handicapped". I've been using FF for 10 years, and this is the first time I meet this big problem. It is really frustrating... The problems are: 1. No connectivity, while all the other browers are good for viewing webpages. 2. Nearly all buttons, menus are just unfuntional. When I turn off FF, I have to do it via Task Manager by end task. I have collected many pages in Favoriates, and stored many usernames and passwords for useful websites. Therefore I hope you friends could kindly help me with this FF problem. And if it cannot be solved, which I hope not, I would desire to have a solution to properly export data in my backup xxx.default (favourites, usernames & passwords) into Windows Edge and Google Chrome. Thank you very much!

I have restarted computer, and turned off hardware acceleration and cleared cache and cookies - these don't help. If I start in safe mode it's all fine - I've disabled any extensions and themes and tried again but the problem is still there. All was fine before the update. Not sure what to do next.

I was in a zoom class with my browser open when the power flickered on and off a couple of times. Firefox runs, but it will no longer display web pages, including the ones that are embedded in the browser (add ons & themes, etc.). Additionally there are a number of *.dll's that seem to be corrupted. I have reinstalled the browser and refreshed it and neither have worked. There was a general problem with Windows as well, but the latest update seemed to correct those problems. The web address doesn't even appear in the address bar. Snip of what it looks like is included.

Thanks much!

Hello!

I downloaded Firefox for the first time on my computer as I am trying to switch away from Chrome. I installed the latest version from the Mozilla website and launched the browser. Upon first launch, it had one empty tab and one privacy tab, both of which were empty. I assumed it was a bug, looked up the issue online and saw an answer saying to kill the process in the task manager and relaunch, which I did.

I launched the browser a second time, and made it my default, and imported the bookmarks from my Chrome default profile. The issue still was not fixed. I am able to open the browser, create new tabs, and browse my bookmarks, but nothing opens in the tabs themselves. Entering manually an URL doesn't work either, also an empty tab. I cannot open the menus either, I can browse the different options, that's it.

I saw another help thread about Troubleshooting mode, and had issues launching it - while I can find the "Run troubleshooting mode" option, clicking restart did not work. I only managed to make it work via the task manager (???) where it launched the actual, working restart option popup window when I killed the process. When it did launch in trouble shooting mode, the same issue persisted.

I tried looking the about:config commands but just like entering URLs, it gives a blank page.

My firewall has access to the software. I manually removed and re-entered the software access following a guide on the support forums.

All the help I could find online parrots the same things:

  • Reinstall the software: it's a fresh install
  • Clean your cache/browsing data/etc: it's a fresh install
  • Update your browser: it's the latest update
  • Restart your computer: did so to no avail
  • Check firewall: did so to no avail
  • Try using icognito window mode to see if it works: did so to no avail
  • Run troubleshooting mode: did so to no avail

I am at loss for what to do...

Picture attached, what all my tabs look like. I have never had this issue with Chrome or Edge.

Hello,

I've updated my Firefox to latest version (89.0) on my Windows machine, and from yesterday I'm keep having occasional freezes and artifacts. It happens when opening a tab or loading a page while also opening a Windows app. Freeze lasts for 5-10 seconds, followed with black screen and sometimes artifacts (today).

I've attached a picture along with data if you might find something useful. I disabled hardware accelaration from this point forward.

Hey all,

I upgraded firefox to 89.0 (firefox for ubuntu). When playing videos it now uses RDD process instead of Web Content. The problem however comes from the resources "RDD process" uses. It is consistently at 100% usage of a CPU core and this is causing my fans to be really loud. I fixed this by changing media.rdd-process.enabled to disabled in about:config and this fixed the system resource issue but I don't think this is what is meant to happen.

As far as I know "RDD process" is meant to use the GPU. My computer has a dedicated GPU so I am at a loss as to what is going on here. Anybody who has any idea?

Thanks in advance.
