I-Firefox Isithangami Sokwesekwa

Every 20 minutes or so I get a notification from Bitdefender Online Threat Prevention module indicated it has blocked a suspicious connection. This has only started about 2-3 days ago. The only information the popup indicates is:

"firefox.exe attempted to establish a connection relying on an unmatching security certificate to gitcdn.xyz. We blocked the connection to keep your data safe since the used certificate was issued for a different web address than the targeted one."

I performed a full system scan and found nothing harmful. Anyone know what this is or how I can fix it?

Using Firefox on one system, it pops up the "dangerous and deceptive content" message on sites that are fine, like mine and a friend's, but on my other system, no warnings for the same sites. It doesn't do it for google.com or msn.com, and no one else gets the warning for the sames sites I am.

Other than turning off the security setting, is there a way to fix this problem? It wants to block me on many sites I've been going to for years.

A couple of days ago I tried to login in to my account at dpreview.com, and got a '400 Bad Request Error' that pretty much locked up my Win10 system. No problem logging in to other websites using FF, and I was able to log into the dpreview.com website using Chrome, with no problem. I just updated FF this morning with the latest release, hoping that might fix the problem, but unfortunately, same error message.

On a different computer, also running Win10, I was able to log into that website with no problem, so it looks like it is only on this computer, using FF to log in to that website, that the problem occurs. All other links at that website work fine.

Any thoughts/suggestions?

Hello, How do I permit Calibre to use IndexedDB storage in Firefox? I am running Firefox 87.0 on Windows 10. Both are fully updated as of the time of this writing (26 March 2021). In Calibre 5.13.0, I enable "Sharing over the net," then I "Start server," and then I "Test server." Calibre opens a tab in Firefox but returns the following error message: "Error: Could not initialize database You must allow calibre to use IndexedDB storage in your browser to read books" I cannot figure out how to enable IndexedDB storage for Firefox. What I would like to do is edit my bookmarks and passwords on my current device then be able to delete the Firefox online storage and sync the current live Firefox to a new online Firefox storage.

HI I am a trainer and web developper and in all trainings and as a designer I am using the Firefox Inspector. This morning, suddenly the menu under EXTRAS is not showing anymore the "INSPECTOR". Don't know what has changed! I installed Firefox again, no change! I know, that I can still activate the inspector via OPTION COMMAND C but this is not very intuitive for my trainings! When I click to add a bookmark, I'm not given a choice as to where it should go, and all go to one of many bookmarks. I uninstalled my virus scan program, but that didn't help. Any answers?

Hey there! I was just reading an article that said you should only download Firefox from the official website. I downloaded Firefox a few months ago, so I'm honestly not sure where I downloaded it from. Is there any way for me to tell if I am using a "real" Firefox?

I'm trying to import my saved logins and passwords from Chrome to Firefox. When to try to do this I get prompted to create a Primary Password. Whenever I try to do this, I get a message saying, "Unable to set Primary Password." I also can't cancel out of this or switch to another tab--I have to ctrl-alt-del and close Firefox to get out of it. I also can't create a Primary Password through the options menu. Anytime I try to set a primary password it just says "Unable to change Primary Password."

I had to clear History and Cookies on my desktop to get an online purchase done. I was able to add my passwords for every site bar one (afl.com.au). It just won't accept my password despite changing it. Works fine in Brave and Chrome. Also fine on my laptop (didn't clear anything there). Any help sincerely appreciated.

I am not able to get onto my secure message center in my febblue.org (Blue Cross/Blue Shield insurance) page. I can log onto the home page, but the landing page for the secure message center hangs. The feature does work fine in other browsers such as Chrome. Perhaps a bug in Firefox 86 and 87? That is when it became an issue.

I have multiple bookmarks for some sites. When I try to delete one of the duplicates, 'all' the copies disappear. How do I delete the duplicates while keeping one copy?
