The + for adding a new tab is located at the upper right hand corner of my Firefox screen. Is there a way to have it show up next to the last tab that was opened? My Firefox at home has the + next to the last new tab. My Firefox at work has it on the upper right hand corner. The attached file shows what I am talking about with the + circled in red and the yellow arrow showing where I would like it to be if this is possible. Thanks.

I mainly use Firefox. I worked offline on a couple of mails on yahoo webmail, intending to send them in the morning. On waking up, I went online to send wanted to send them, but they could not. Needless to say, the texts of those mails have been lost and were not saved as drafts. All my firefox pages, old and new, now open as bare pages, without links, formatting, pics or functionalities. I am not even able to upload here an image of my screen on a typical page. My email is [email]@yahoo.com.

So I've recently updated to v83 and find out that that annoying address bar is back. I don't really want to use Chrome.css because I'm not good at programming or anything like that and I am afraid I might break my browser.

I have the solutions for v77 on my about:config and tried toggling them true/false and restarting my computer but I think Firefox "fixed" those workarounds.

Anybody have any new suggestions? Or am I stuck with this (I wouldn't mind it so much but it goes to it automatically when I open a new tab and that annoys me. I'm happy the history part of the workaround is still working cause I do NOT want anyone knowing my history. That's my business not theirs).

Noticed on the latest release of Firefox after I press quit(I have multiple windows) the process will not fully close; I've confirmed this on both Windows and Ubuntu versions. It seems to happen when I have videos playing while closing as they will continue to play in the background.

Only way to fully close the app is to stop the running background process; the videos cannot be stopped as they are CCTV streams.

I'm not familiar with logging with FF if someone can advise on which ones would be of interest I can provide them.
