I've started using the beta version of firefox relay. I was wondering if the same alias can be used for multiple different websites? I have used it to login to one website already. Can I use the same alias for another website?

I use Scenesource to download items of interest, after scrolling down to find what I want, the settings do not allow me to get to the last page I started from and goes back to the first page. I know that I found the setting before but at my age I cant seem to get to it anymore. Can someone tell me how to get that back?

I connected to the web interface of my printer and got a warning that it could be an unsafe site. I clicked where it said I accept the risk. Then I found out that I could install a certificate on the printer. To do that I have to click "Download." But I don't see that. First I have to remove the security exception I created. How do I do that in Firefox 83.0?

Recently, every time I go to YouTube on Firefox it only half signs me in. When I sign in, the home page of YouTube will look normal until I click on one of my playlists or the "add to watch later" button on any video. Then, it will ask me to sign in again. This only occurs on Firefox, other browsers are still fine. And, I've already tried refreshing Firefox, clearing my cache, and reinstalling. Any ideas?

How do I get rid of the extremely annoying and useless "Other Bookmarks" folder which I NEVER use? This forum is misleading because it says only 3 people have this problem. I'm sure there are many thousands but it is almost impossible to comment or reply. It was a major puzzle for me to get this far. Firefox should to make a simple list of bookmarks available, when you have the Bookmarks symbol on the toolbar. It should be the default instead of hiding them in "other folders". If someone wants to make it more complex they easily can add folders. The default now is too complex and difficult to change. Every time I need to add the Firefox browser to a new operating system I need to do extensive research and fiddling just to simplify because I cannot remember the gymnastics I had to go through the last time.This time it made me so exasperated I nearly gave up went to Edge.

i receive this file from my antivirus as a potencial hacker tool , now is in quarentine mode on my computer . any idea to check or identify this ?

i use google docs for school, and because of that i need to use sub and super scripts often, google has decided that CTRL + , is the shortcut but this also zooms in the page.

What did Mozilla do recently to screw up Firefox?

On some websites (e.g., https://www.usbank.com/index.html and https://www.penfed.org/) which I commonly visit, I suddenly start getting error messages when I try to log in ("Your username and/or password are incorrect. Please try again." on the U.S. Bank website and just "FAIL" on the PenFed Credit Union website). I can log into both without any problems using the Chrome browser (which I don't like using). I have called both U.S. Bank's and PenFed's website support departments (having spent over an hour talking to each one) and both claim that there's nothing wrong with their servers, websites, or web pages, but instead lay the blame on FireFox; I'm starting to believe this, since I can log into my accounts using Chrome without any problems. This problem just started (for me) two days ago. And yes, I cleared all of my history, and I also shut down and re-started Firefox.

So, with this background, What did Mozilla do recently to screw up Firefox?

I didn't find anything about it: I'm looking for a shortcut to open links in the private window without opening the context menu (right click)

I know that.....:

• CTRL + Click open in a new Tab (Or middle click)
• CTRL + SHIFT + Click open in a new Tab and focus on this new tab (or SHIFT + middle click)
• SHIFT + Click open the link in a new Window

But actually I didn't find any combination to open it in a new private window. Even the context menu "Open Link in a new private window" isn't what I'm looking for as I don't want the new window to be on top.

Is there a way to do it, maybe an extension ?

Hi. I am trying to reach a site that I have in the past found a good reference site (if you like reptiles), Ian's Vivarium. I am in up-to-date Firefox for Win10, I have refreshed Firefox to no effect. Error message on the website is: "You are running an unsupported PHP version. Please upgrade to PHP 7.1.3 or higher before trying to install or update to phpBB 3.3" at the top of a wholly blank page.

I get the same error when attempting Chrome and Edge (which crawled back onto my PC uninvited)... maybe a website issue?

Help?

i am unable to download full web pages such as login pages to web sites. for example, I can download the home screen for online banking but the screen comes up completely blank or missing the usename/password boxes. This condition occured without any changes on my part. The same websites still operate normally on other computers at home. Most website downloads just end up with a blank page and the mouse pointer circling around forever. This is a relatively new PC with no other issues till now.

After i deleted the cookies and site data i noticed that after i searched something and pressed left-click, instead of opening the website in the same tab, it opens it in a new one and takes them, it is somehing that i do not want, as if i want to open it in a new tab i can just use the middle key to do it.

I do not like this wide address bar and need to go back to classic look. I tried some links on this support but it does not help. I would also like to to have to reset my preferences after each update. My version is 83.0 on Windows 7.
