I-Firefox Isithangami Sokwesekwa

Firefox was updated to version 72 and has disabled the McAfee Secure Search and WebAdvisor extensions. It also disabled theFacebook Container extension but by reinstalling it that was fixed. I can't reinstall the McAfee externsions as they were installed as part of another package. The extensions are working in other browsers.

I have a web site bobgatto.com. when I enter the domain name just as bobgatto.com ans press enter, the site appears as it should. However, no https:// is attached to the name in the address bar and an icon of a lock with a red slash through it is at the left of the name.

Now I believe there should be an https:// because my web host set my up with a free SSL. I checked the cPanel and the SSL status is active. I even tried to reinstall the SSL certificates and keys, clearing cache memory, but I'm still getting the same results.

Can anyone out there help?

When I type in an address in the search bar Firefox intermittently serves up a blank page and attempts to download the page as a file. This only seems to happen when I omit typing in www. in an address and doesn't seem to happen when the address is in my recent history and Firefox autocompletes it.

My internet connection is fine and this is not happening in other browsers.

I think you should leave authorization code active more time because i receive code 15 min after I ask it and it's active only 5 minutes so when i receive it it's already expired.

I keep getting this notification from Bitdefender. "firefox.exe attempted to establish a connection relying on an untrusted certificate to push.services.mozilla.com. We blocked the connection to keep your data safe since untrusted certificates are issued by unrecognized Certificate Authorities." what should I do about it (if anything).

I am on firefox 72.0.1, windows 10 ver 1903

Ever since the last update, about once a day when I try to start firefox my curser starts flashing. After a few minutes my explorer.exe restarts and I will have about 50 copies of firefox to close.

So now when it happens I try to open up task manager and kill the firefox.exe process but it doesn't do anything, the only thing to do is wait for explorer to crash and then close all the firefox windows. Next time this happens I will try restarting explorer.exe manually to see if I can stop it before it opens too many windows.

I highly down this is an addon problem, been running the same 2 for years.

mozilla send notification every time i open it and says to explore something about this browesr that's annoying. how can i stop it. what's wrong with it showing me his themes and stuff all the time. just crazy

Hi I LOVE Firefox but recently it has put a "Warning: Potential Security Risk Ahead" block on a UK government based web site for Birth, Marriages and Deaths - https://www.gro.gov.uk/gro/content/certificates/Login.asp. This link works in other browsers. Please advise. Thanks.

I'm pretty handy with these computer-web thingies - was exctied to see the recent upgrade, but all of a sudden, all of my searches are being passed to Google - MASSIVE RED FLAG?!?!

I had all of my security dialled in very tight - removed Google, removed Twitter, removed Facebook, removed Amazon, set up containerized browsing to stop them all from talking to each other via ads, upgraded all security settings to give myself a nice, quiet interweb...

Is there any way updates can respect (at least) the selected search engine from before the update, so as not to expose my data to the cartel?

Every time I go to google calendar, the page is blank. I have no idea how this started. I have the sidebar, but no content in the page, i.e. the main calendar with all the events. I've cleaned the cookies and cache and disabled all extensions, reinstalled firefox and nothing. This is super annoying. How do I fix this?

The language that I chose to apply on firefox is written from the right to the left. Thus, firefox should be adjusted to that language. There is 1 problem. When applied on this right to left language, the tabs are from the right to the left, but also the window buttons. The picture attached describes best the issue.

Keep getting message (on opening Firefox) that I must close old version to use the new version. But I cannot uninstall the old version, so I can auto use the new version. The system ignores all my attempts to uninstall old version. Stumped.

When I search for something, I sometimes can't see an instance of that search term, although Firestorm acts as if it's showing it. (How) can I make Firefox show the matches it finds more clearly?

I was just updated to 72.0.1

Then, when I tried to login to roboform I was told I had to update. I did that (now have 8.2.2 (64-bit) Same problem, I am told I must upgrade (already did that). The update itself was interesting. I had to delete the addon from firefox and then restart firefox before I was able to download that latest roboform

Thoughts?

So Wikipedia is blocking my browser for a while now (whenever I try to access any links it redirect me to https://en.wikipedia.org/sec-warning ), previously I was able to solve this issue on my own by setting the security.tls.version.min to 3 on the about:config page but now the problem returned and I don't know why or how to fix it. PLEASE HELP!
