I-Firefox Isithangami Sokwesekwa

Your help file says,

Click the Bookmarks button(star)on the right side of the navigation toolbar (Windows XP: click the Bookmarks menu) and select Show All Bookmarks to open the Library window.

When I click on the star, there is no option to Show All Bookmarks. I can click on "bookmarks menu", but nothing happens when I do so.

I'm running Windows 7 and installed the latest version of Firefox today (July 18, 2011).

my PC crashed and the data was saved but all apps got washed out set them up and when i started mozilla i have a blank slate the "help" system only deals with certain versions and i think i was in FF 4, but now am in FF 5

friends computer had firefox on it and it asked to update... wouldn't work so I went to mozilla and downloaded the newest version to find out it won't work with this os. I need to restore the older version to her computer and don't know how.

I had 5.0 installed a check of Help About Firefox showed it as up to date. Checking FileHippo.com showed 5.0.1, How come no indication of this in Help About Firefox?

Question I get a new computer with window 7 and I can not find all my bookmark from the old computer . I use to save the book mark, is the bookmark saved on the PC hard drive that is why i can not bring it back and i have to start all over again. Or it is saved in the main frame of Firefox and i can retrieve it back. I still have my old computer is there is any step that I can take to copy, save or import my old book mark back i have over 500 marked page in the old one. I am just changing computers, and want to migrate all add-ons, extensions, etc from firefox 95.01) on my old machine (xp pro) to a new machine (win 7). Sorta got lost looking at "sync"

Is there a simple method (similar to migrating the bookmarks)?

If I have for example 3 tabs open and want to close one that I don't want anymore because I still want to work on the other 2 it will only give me the choice of closing all or cancelling. How do I just close the one I don't want but leaving open the 2 I do want?

Firefox is preventing photographs and pictures from being displayed because it considers them to be pop-ups. I have turned off the pop-ups blocker on my security system but this did not help. There is a difference between annoying commercial or informational pop-ups and photographs and pictures that appear automatically from many web sites. How can I overrule this unwanted pop-up blocking effect?
