I-Firefox Isithangami Sokwesekwa

for Gmail especially, my cookies need to be turned on. When I check Firefox's Options, it says they are already enabled. I found out that switching "Use Custom Settings for History" to "Remember History" next to 'Firefox will:' under the Privacy tab seems to fix the issue and make Gmail happy. But within 5 minutes it reverts back to "Use Custom Settings..." and therefore GMail (and other websites as well) stop working again.

How do I get Firefox to "Remember my History" and not revert my settings?

i accidently right clicked on "block images" in wordpress, now my pictures are gone and I can't upload any new images--how do I undo this error? Thks. Marci

It all started when everytime i clicked on the mozilla internet browser it kept on saying 'the connection was reset' and after about a day it didn't even open at all. So now everytime i try to use it nothing happens when i click on it.

I have to use V3.5.10 despite wanting to run 3.6 (just updated to 3.6.6 too). However when I run 3.6 I hear thru my sounds set up a process open briefly and then close every 30 seconds or so - it's very regular and insistent and I'd like to know what it is and why. It's too brief to spot in Task manager processes listing. This did happen once under 3.5 I seem to recall but was cured when it upgraded.

I used to use the "Print Screen" key and then access the "paint" option to save or print individual sceen shots, isince somehow deleted paint from my computer amd I am now using Mozilla , is there a way to acomplish the sceen shot with Mozilla ???

Firefox will not print to my HP PSC750 inkjet printer but prints with no problem to the monochrome Brother HL-5240. Other browsers print to both printers with no problem. I must print out filled-in webforms and must use the inkjet printer for that. However, Firefox presents me with a dialog box that says "An unknown error has occurred while printing", even when nothing at all has even started to print out.

When I next try to print the same screen content to the monochrome laser printer, the entire contents of the form showing on the web page will print out as a single block of text - all run together and utterly unintelligible.

How can I make Firefox print normally and legibly to my HP inkjet printer, the same as other browsers?

Google was my search engine anytime I would type just keywords into the line where you type web addresses. However, I somehow must have uploaded a new search engine called 'Inbox', which I don't care for, and now I have to type keywords into the search to the right of the screen to use google. I would like to make google my permanent search engine when using Firefox. Any suggestions? I thought I had already deleted the inbox toolbar, but it didn't change my search engine. I am not so computer savvy so...

I have a Mac. On certain websites firefox web pages jump when I click on them or on links in them. It doesn't happen in Safari. I would like to keep using Firefox if possible. Please advise. Lisa

Anything that moves or has audio is frequently stopped while buffering. How can I get rid of that happening?

I used to be able to edit web pages in Netscape and upload them via WS_FTPLE but latest version doesn't seem to be able to. Internet says Firefox (which we've been using for quite some time) is supposed to be "equivalent/better" than Netscape so looked for, and can't find, where and how to edit web pages so I can upload them via WS_FTPLE. Please could you advise if this is possible and where/how to do it? Many thanks.

new and fake pages often open at random, sometimes when i click on a legitimate link, and sometimes it just happens when i am just sitting there

I have been having trouble recently with my version of firefox, it worked fine up until just a little while ago. it started crashing frequently and randomly no matter what page I was on. then, it started refusing to recover my tabs after it had crashed or otherwise

what could be the problem?

Firefox will not retain the password for UPS.com

Start up Firefox and it automatically goes to a variety of sites offering browsers. Its a worm of some sort that has infected the Firefox exe or a virus pretending to be Firefox? Also affects IE.

I installed "The Sims 3 High-End Loft Stuff" add-on onto my computer. I already had Sims 3. After the add-on game installed correctly, I tried to start up the game by clicking the desktop icon. It pops up with a little window saying exactly this: "Active X controls are required to use this product. Please enable Active X controls in your Internet Explorer security settings and restart the application." Then once I ex out of that, another little window pops up reading: "JavaScript is required to use this product. Please enable javascript in your Internet Exlporer security settings and restart the application." Then, the Sims 3 game launcher (medium, not full screen) window pops up and I can't click anything cause it says my Sims 3 base game isn't compatible with the add-on sims 3 game.

All I want is to play a free crossword puzzle.
