When I clicked on the blue screen before I would get a big list of things to do, including add site to main menu or main screen. (I Forget the exact wording, )now cant do that anymore -all I can do is bookmark and that makes me go thru a whole long list to find the site. How do i put a site on main screen to choose it right away, I already have the ones from Explorer but cant add to them. Thanks! :)

I won't leave my name here, nor any personal details. I know that I have been a strong part of the revolution in deep-structure coding that has taken place since the July 4th 2014 weekend, but I can't get any of my proprietary start-up information out to any useful part of the public lately, because I am too busy "fighting" the technical, personal and psychological equivalent of a WORLD WAR, all by myself, over things supposedly as "simple" (and generally as money-constrained) as the "lack of a cell phone." As if cell phones were the New Holy Grail or something...

Anyhow, the impression I have is that the Revolution (whatever that is) could strongly empower a lot more individuals across many more systems into their own success if only the Larger Powers could learn how to stop being so functionally PARANOIC about each other...we need a standard in the 21st Century for what "objective truth" means on a planetary scale... If we can hold back the Great Chaos that long!

I saved bookmarks on a adult site and put them on a d v d but the site keeps deleting the videos and so there also deleted on the d v d aswell. how can i save what i bookmark to a d v d disk?

I lost it with the update and I need it badly. In this (horrible) new version, I added dictionnaries. They are active, but when I right click they don't appear and I'm adviced to add dictionnaries..

Your systems designers seem to have worked hard in getting customers furious. First, they make the default a new problem not easy to turn off. Then, they make finding help difficult to figure. Then, they want the very displeased customer with lots of other things to do to sit around waiting for a response.

I predict that this product will bomb in six months until there are dramatic improvements in customer consideration. I saw the other questions being posed. Wow! There's a lot of anger there, and it's not fair to shove it onto volunteers, especially when Mozilla has contracted out technical service to another company in a foreign country.

Please get back to me by Email with a simple answer of whether or not you can fix this absurd situation or not or how, while I check solutions other than spending a lot of time shutting off Mozilla ads.

This is frustrating!! I have sent you a question and followed your directions to a T with the email you sent in response just to get set up with an account for your company but I have to start over again so it seems as far as I can tell!! My issue is the: following .. I had tried to download some stuff off the internet through Norton and it ruined my homepage which was Firefox and I loved it that way! Now delmit It's Yahoo and I cannot stand that one AT ALL!!! How do I get rid of that!?

I've been posting to the mozilla forums for over a decade, but when I tried to log in this afternoon the site didn't recognize either my username or my password (it didn't specify which).

I tried to change my password but I never received the confirmation email.

So I've just created a "new" account using my old email address but with a new user name and password so that I could post this query.

I'm trying to update my plugins after the latest Firefox update. I clicked on tools, add-ons, plugins, update plug-ins. I have waited for over an hour and the pin wheel is still spinning and no plug-in updates have appeared. Now what?

This is absurd. The problem has resolved itself but now I can't delete the question.

Firefox version 29.0.1 is constantly asking for system reboots to update. Uninstalling then downloading & installing v31 does not seem to stop this issue. This has occurred on several different user's machines that I support. None of them seem to be running any extensions that could be causing this problem.

All of a sudden I am getting popups on every website I go to. One on each side pf the screen, some squeezes between information on the site. They are making me nuts !!! How do I rid myself of this garbage?

I resign from my job and had very short time to clear my laptop from any personal data. So i uninstalled firefox thinking that all security passwords of all the accounts that i was saved and using will be automatically deleted.

My question is. Is it possible for them to recover this personal info in someway. I have read somewhere that its possible to be already saved in?

This is to answer cor-el who emailed me and gave me links to transfer the bookmark files from the old computer (XP) to the new computer (Win 8).

The problem is that I can't even get to "trouble shooting" in the Firefox menu. There is some file corrupt before I'm even able to get that far.

We found his old bookmark files on the hard drive, but eventually, on the old computer, the correct bookmarks loaded in Firefox only way deep in the bookmark menu so I had to drag them onto the toolbar individually and finally the new computer synced up with the correct bookmarks.

I would love to find the files for the bookmarks but I've looked and only found the old bookmark files (even looked where it said to look in "help"). In any case, please don't send me another link unless it solves my problem; I've worked on computers since 1984 and I know when the computer freezes up (and it does when I go to "help" and then "trouble shooting"—when I click "trouble shooting" is when everything stops.

I was trying to copy a group of e mails from my yahoo account, as I was trying to do it the page shrunk to the left and now the page will not expand nor delete, I have tried everything that I know to delete it but it won't move.
