Hi, when I start Firefox 26 beta 10 I get the following two unresponsive script error messages:

I hit continue on both and Firefox starts.

When I upgraded to FF 26, I found that I can't download .exe files.I had some trouble like this with FF25, so I changed the "scanWhenDone" property to false; it helped with FF25 (my downloads completed), but now I start a download, and I don't even get the "save or open" box, and FF26 shows no sign a download even took place. I also went into Control Panel and reset the security levels to their default values, but that didn't help either.Can you some suggestions for other things I could try? Many thanks,

Just updated to FF 26. Now I get an annoying banner bar telling me that FP has been disabled in my AOL homepage. I know I have an outdated version since anything else crashes FF and yes I've tried all the suggested fixes. I have the Flash block extension add on enabled. The banner bar gives me the option to block or allow. What happens if I click allow and can I unchange it if I want to or can I hide the banner bar from displaying? I really wish FF would do something about this on going problem with FP. I don't have this problem in either IE9 of Chrome.

Tried safe mode, still same thing. No videos will play. Was fine this morning, but tried to watch CNN video and it would not play. Spinning circle just jumps around, doesn't spin. YouTube won't play either.
Portable version from Portable Apps works fine.

This started on Monday, I went to play the weekly tournament but all I got was a white screen with angry birds ad banners top and bottom. I have googled this and so far I have tried Updating flash, shockwave, java. I tried clearing cookies and cache, Uninstalling firefox and reinstalling, tried with my antivirus off, tried uninstalling my antivirus, tried updating graphics drivers. I cant think of anything else to try, I know it's a local issue as I have friends who tell me theirs is ok. Between Sunday (when i was able to play) and Monday, nothing on my laptop changed, except the fact that it wont load, I've tried several other games on facebook but this is the only one that wont load.

I recently applied two updates, and I'm not sure which one caused this problem, or if its even related to either of these two updates. The first one was updating from Ubuntu 13.04 to 13.10. The second one was updating from the previous verison of Firefox to the latest stable release (26). Both upgrades were done about simultaneously, so hard to tell which is causing problems, if either.
Now, the problem. Basically, firefox lags a lot while doing most actions. If i start up firefox, it takes about 3 seconds before I can see a cursor or see text in the address bar. However, all the input appears fine once the chrome works. If i'm loading a webpage and 'Control + T' for a new tab, it lags about 3-5 seconds before the new tab appears. If I switch focus to another window, swtich back, and then scroll down, there is a 3-5 second lag before the page scrolls. This sort of delay occurs constantly.
I have gone through most( all?) the troubleshooting guides here, and a few on the mozillaline forums. I definitely know what triggers the problem. I just dont' know how to fix it. But in order of what I tried to get to my trigger:
I disabled all the add-ons. Problem remained. Disabled the plugins. Problem remained. Did safe-mode, problem remained. At this point, I swtiched over to a new profile. I installed all my add-ons, plugins one by one. Nothing triggered the problem. I spent plenty of time after each installation, and no lag at all. THEN I finally added my sync information to the new profile. Immediately upon the addition of bookmarks (I only sync bookmarks and tabs), the new profile started lagging. After 30 minutes or so, the lag became consistent, and like described above.
So I went to the guides again and tried deleting the .js file (session.js, I think) and automatic .json bookmark backups ( I placed an exported backup in the profile directory, as the instruction said) and let it reconstruct the js file. My bookmarks came back, but the lag was still there.
Then I made a 3rd new profile, and didn't add any add-ons or anything, and just added my sync information. Again it started lagging. I exported my bookmarks as html, deleted all my bookmarks, and then re-imported the html file. The lag was till there.
Then I deleted firefox, and all the profiles, and reinstalled it. I set up my sync account, and the lag came about again. And that's where I am now.
Other information that I should mention: I sync with two windows machines, and two android devices (5 including the ubuntu machine that is troubling me). The other firefoxes behave perfectly (no lag or anything).
My bookmark folder has about 2000 items. That doesn't seem too outlandish to be troublesome, and if the windows and android machines can handle it fine, so should the ubuntu machine.
When I run off terminal, I get the error 'gtk_accelerator_valid(key, modifier)' failed option, and I've tried searching/ troubleshooting that error, but they don't seem to work either.
Anything else I'm missing? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Well I saw an email and it said I needed to update my browser and I thought that would fix some things that were wrong like Page Info not opening on some tabs... Well it made it worse... Yahoo pretty much took over my browser.. When I first opened after I installed the new browser it took me to there homepage (Easily fixed) but theres still things like the yahoo symbol in top right, When I open things on a page it opens a new firefox browser.. Is there a way I can just reset anything that has been done and go back to what I had before I installed?

I am trying to make google hangouts work with firefox, and I think I need to be able to remove or update old google voice/video plugins to do that. But I can't get at them.

I've set up my sync account on Windows 8.1 & when I set it up on Ubuntu with the recovery key it will import the bookmarks, add ons, preferences ect. The problem is if I add bookmarks in Windows Firefox & then boot Ubuntu Firefox it won't change it on Ubuntu, if I add a new bookmark on Ubuntu Firefox it won't change it on Windows. They both keep their own instance of my sync but won't share it & share the changes.
Am I supposed to select a setting at the Sync Options to tell it to keep both the browsers the same & to also let each other add bookmarks? If you know what I mean ;)

On my Mac , I would like the equivalent function (IE folder for bookmarks in Firefox) but the same plugin does not work on Mac. Which plugin would have that functionality ? To have access to the same folder (or a synchronized copy of Favorites) ?

We've been having multiple Firefox crashes a day for a long time now. Time to look for some answers. Sometimes Firefox crashes, and sometimes it freezes so I have to go into the "Start Task Manager" and manually end the Firefox process.
Vista is the operating system, and we have Norton Security Suite installed.
Memory usage might have something to do with it, as the computer often sounds as if it is working extra hard before it freezes or crashes. I also find that CPU usage is often around 50% when this occurs.
