Ive already changed my firefox language in settings, restarted firefox, restarted my mac. All to no avail. The finderr download dialog box is still in spanish. The rest of firefox is in english, my computer is in english and its set as a main language. I simply dont understand. Ive asked chatgpt and the answer is the same "change firefox language settings"... but my settings are in english already

Hi, I discovered that in order to achieve that, you set in about:config "permissions.fullscreen.allowed from the default false to true. The default behavior does not stop the video with a single left mouse click, but triggers full-screen. It would make sense to make "true" the default as it seems more intuitive to control both the play and full-screen in that way.

Is it no longer possible to deactivate the picture-in-picture (pip) video control in Firefox 124.0.2 (64-bit)? The picture-in-picture thing annoys me when surfing and on YouTube on my PC.

I cannot log in to www.capitalone.co.uk with the Firefox Browser but I can with Microsoft Edge. I use Firefox Browser as my default browser. This problem only started yeaterday, before that every thing was fine.

Earlier, I joined a zoom meeting from a facebook group (facebook in a container). I had Yahoo open on my browser. Now, no matter what I do (including uninstalling and reinstalling firefox), I get the message every time I try to open a link from a particular email to a website totally unaffiliated with facebook. It looks like facebook grabbed onto the open tab and I can't get rid of it. I'm using a different browser to access that url, but I'd like to get facebook out of my yahoo business. It looks like FB is trying to track my activity on the web. Please help. BTW, Yahoo was in a personal container and the url for zoom opened up when I joined the zoom meeting from facebook, so all 3 of those tabs were open for a couple of hours. Thanks for your help.

Advise how to get rid of the display streaks Regardless of page, angular streaks will obscure parts of the display (doesn't happen with other browsers, restarted my machine, cleared my cache, not sure how to correct it? Thanks

I have always been able to connect with Navy Federal Credit Union for my banking until a few days ago. Every time I click on the accounts shortcut I get the FAILED TO CONNECT window. I can open my e-mail and ALL other websites. I can connect with Goggle but I've always preferred and used Firefox. I have used Firefox as my main browser for many many years. What is the problem??

While watching a livestream on Youtube it freezes, and i have to refresh the page to resume only for it to do the same thing moments later, getting really annoying as it doesn't do it while watching normal videos.

Since few days I experienced a strange beaviour on my firefox:

if I press and keep pressed a key, say backspace or left arrow or just a letter key, then usually I see repetitions, e.g. fast erasing back, fast moving back and forward or just typing something like:

aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

In my gmail composer this does not happens anymore, and if I need to erase a word I need to repetitely press and relase backspace key.

I erased firefox and make a fresh install, via snap, with completely new profile, but the problem remains. It does not seem to appear on other places, for instance when typing this question everything is fine. If I use gmail with other browser (same pc) then all is fine.

I have ubuntu with all updates regurarly installed, uname -a give me Linux mypc 5.15.0-101-generic #111-Ubuntu SMP Tue Mar 5 20:16:58 UTC 2024 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux

How can I fix this? Where I have to look?

I've been searching for how to disable the little dropdown menus with emails you could use for a field, but I can't find anything.

I made a clean install and found someone that had the solution, but I can't find this post anymore no matter how much I search.

There's no forms and autofill section for me under the privacy section of settings, whether it's been removed through updates or it's a bug for me (which would be weird if it were both the case on my current PC and the old one) I don't know.

All I know is that the solution involved going to about:config and changing a setting in there.

I don't want to just delete the entry by doing down arrow and delete.

Any help is appreciated!
