Недавно столкнулся с проблемой невозможности установки файлов из различных источников (не только с одного конкретного файла), сами файлы тоже разные, от папок до установщиков. Всегда один и тот же паттерн, сначало загружает 30кб, потом загрузка приостонавливается, проходит 3-4 минуты и он обозначается как "не удалось". Пробовал решить проблему, ничего не вышло.

When loading some pages, after the latest update to Firefox, I noticed that many websites started, loading slowly or waiting for other content requested by scripts to time out before continuing to load the content of the page. Some taking 20-100 seconds to throw an http error/timeout in the network tab. I even tried it having all my extensions disabled, vanilla FireFox and I still have the above issue.

The only fix I have now is using uBlock or some other plugin to block the url's of resources that are not loading or have been timing out. One such website/url being cdn.cookielaw.org has been the worst making it seem like some websites were straight up broken and unable to load.

Anyway I have fixed this issue by doing the above and blocking the urls of content that doesn't load but I don't think this is intended behavior as I can't reproduce it on other browsers besides FireFox.

On 2026-04-15 from about 10:00 CDT on, I have not been able to update Nightly nor Firefox Developer Edition (Aurora). Both of them notify me that there is an update available, and when I click on Help -> About Firefox I get the usual panel that gives me the update ID to click on. Clicking on it tells me it's Downloading Update -- 0 bytes, and it never flashes the expected size of the update, never shows progress, and never completes. It seems to be acting as if the update server is out of commission.

All bookmarks and history lost. Have spent over 2 hours following the steps outlined as a standard treatment for this problem, attributed to another program interfering with Firefox Profiles or bookmarks. Restarts of Firefox and PC failed to restore, Going to Bookmarks>Manage Bookmarks fails because when you get to the Library window for Import or Restore and select profile (I show 3 right now, all tagged as .default), there is no way in the window to accomplish a restore. You can insert a profile in the open window but there is no way to activate the restore function. Likewise when I accessed the list of 15 prior bookmark files I had the same result with the restore window. The instructions do not make any sense to me. Need somebody to contact me directly and walk through problem via phone call.

My browser updated to 149.0.2 on Windows 11 early April 2026. I first noticed the browser asking me to select a profile when trying to open hyperlinks from emails, but since I had not closed the browser since the update, I still had all of my information. When I went to restart, I was forced to make a new profile as no other ones were recognized. This also happened during an update at the end of 2025 and I was able to fix it with advise from support articles., Unfortunately, none of those fixes seem to be applicable anymore. Does anyone have a current fix? I have lost so much saved info!

I want shortcuts, but not the ones I visit, just the ones I save. Is there a way to make it just the ones I save, or I have to have both. If I must have both, please make it so that its separate.

I want youtube to go back to the list of websites on the url drop down menu. I'm annoyed that Heroforge replaced it after only two visits to the website and I don't know why it even did that.

Every time I open more than a couple of tabs, a Firefox pop-up asks if I'm overwhelmed; I'm not. How can I make it stop? (I have already unticked Recommend features in Settings and set browser.newtabpage.activity-stream.asrouter.userprefs.cfr.features to False.) Equally annoying is the constant 'Summarise page' feature reminder. I have certainly Got It! by now.

I used unsigned extension at Firefox ESR, according to the this page: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/add-on-signing-in-firefox I toggled the setting about signature to false. At the previous revision (I don't know the exact revision, but it might be this year), it works well and an unsigned extension was installed well.

I updated the browser and re-installed the unsigned extension to update. To install the unsigned extension, i tried to drag-and-drop the .zip file (extension) at 'about:addon', but error occurs, saying "이 부가 기능은 손상된 것 같으므로 설치할 수 없습니다." (I think, this is translation of the following:"This add-on could not be installed because it appears to be corrupt.") So I added the unsigned extension through 'about:debugging#/runtime/this-firefox'. Then the unsigned extension is installed, but it is deleted when I close firefox.

Could you let me know how to install the unsigned extension?

Since your last update on 13th Feb 2026, we have not been able to receive any emails on the computer. All phones and iPads do ! We keep seeing "Captcha " requesting us to match items, etc., then when we do and get them all right, it pops up a message "Oops, Something went wrong." Our Wi-Fi provider, Spark.co.nz, suggested that Firefox has something like a firewall stopping the emails from coming through. Your thoughts or comments would be appreciated. We have used other "Browsers" which allow them to do so, but would rather have Mozilla Firefox, which gives us no problem whatsoever with all other Apps and Websites.

I'm using Firefox on Fedora 43 Linux, fully updated, and have it set up to use four desktops on the same monitor, using the Xfce DE and Compiz. For the last several months, any time I click in a link in Thunderbird, instead of switching to the desktop with Firefox on it, it pulls Firefox to Thunderbird's desktop and covers Thunderbird. This has continued through several updates of Firefox and at least one upgrade of Fedora. I don't know if Firefox or Xfce is the issue, but if it's Firefox, where do I look?

I just got a new laptop and installed Firefox 149 on it, but I can't get it looking and working like I want it to. It syncs with my desktop Firefox for my bookmarks and history, but the Bookmark Toolbar is in the wrong place, above the address and menu bar.

Most annoying is that I can't see my tabs......I can scroll through them with Ctl-Tab, but I can't see them laid out at the top of the screen, and I can't manually choose or close any tab. My bookmark toolbar looks like where I expect the tabs to be.......I thought that Firefox was automatically opening all the bookmarks in my toolbar into tabs, but if that were the case I would scroll through them with Ctl-Tab, which I cannot. That appears to be the toolbar, not open tabs.

So......the toolbar is above the menu bar, not below it, and my tabs aren't visible. My bookmark toolbar setting is set to "always show",

1: By logging in to my account I am asked to "Enter two-step authentication code"

Upon my knowledge I do not have anything like this. Can I still log in by using my old username and my normal pasword and the be able to sync between my different PCs ?

2: How to sync my EDGE Bookmark list to my Firefox ?

This has happened a few times and confused me but I figured it out tonight. I had a private window open and a regular window open and closed the regular one. When I reopened the regular one all of my pinned tabs were gone. This should be fixed, Firefox should differentiate between the windows and stop closing tabs on the regular window if it's closed before the private one. Kind of an odd thing.

I was able to recover my tabs with a json file thankfully but haven't been able to do so before as I had opened and closed multiple windows trying to figure out where the pinned tabs had gone and the "previous.json" had changed to those new open tabs. It might also be nice to have a few "previous.json" files be created instead of the single one for instances like this.
