i hate the fact that my camera does not working chat group or otherwise ion Firefox and facebook. can not connect to family why does firefox not try to do something to fix it it used to work with facebook but now no ' even when i stop all extensions the camera does not work i have reinstalled the camera and it does work so why does my camera not work in firefox and facebook

Tonight when I went to join someone else's Zoom and he (host) allowed me to share from my screen, an issue arose that I am baffled about. The message was: Your browser is preventing access to your share screen." My Browser is Firefox. and it is up to date. How do I resolve this? Thank you very much!

Just to let you know, when I am host I can share. Would appreciate this help greatly!

I have a weekly appointment in google meet. My main browser is firefox, and when I try to join there is no video available.

I have checked that my laptop camera works in general, and that google meet has working video on another browser, so the issue seems to be with the permissions google meet has for firefox.

Every time I join the meeting, there is the pop up which asks if I want to allow the use of my camera and microphone. I always click allow. Recently, even after doing this I dont have video footage.

The meet page does not say that my camera is off.

None of these sites can access the camera, and say that I blocked access even though the popup never appeared:

Interestingly, webcamtests.com says "A web camera was detected." -- but still can't access it. Chrome can access my camera just fine.

I play the on-line KY lottery on a regular basis on my computer. As of late I am getting a message that states we cannot validate your location when I attempt to play games...ie. powerball, pick 3 and pick 4 etc. I had no problems until the last few weeks. I can play on my phone but I don't like to play on my phone.

I tried to add the KY lottery to the location permission area under the Privacy and Security settings. It will not accept it. I know at one time several website that I use used to be in the location permissions and now they're gone and I can still use the sites.

Confused and not sure what to do.

I want to use my microphone on the website https://translate.google.co.il. And I get a message from Google Translate when I click on the microphone that the browser does not support voice output. What should I do so that the browser does support it. Many thanks Smadar

I can not figure out how to add a site to allow the location there is no i in the address bar but the site is all about location and I figured I not get a verification email to join the site since it is not on location so how do I add a site with no i site is called nextdoor.com

The top two toggles in the "location" area of privacy settings are OFF. Greyed out. The rest are also in the off position and greyed out other than "Notify when apps request location" is toggled on. I accidentally said "yes" when it wanted me to share location. (I just started using Firefox last night). Then it opened my "settings" for my computer on it's own and I closed it out quickly as I was working on something important and I cannot have distractions. I did not mess with any toggles or click anywhere else except the big X in the right upper corner. Since I didn't mean to click yes now it is prompting me quite often, every few minutes, to turn the location service on and automatically opens the settings for my laptop to the page "Privacy & Security > Location. How do I get this Madness to stop?

Firefox you can't X out the location services and it won't go away. It covers everything. I don't want to make a decision, I'll do it on my own terms when I feel like it.

Other competitors allow it, why not Firefox?

My microphone (stand alone) is not being detected by the website "Babel Audio" as I am attempting to connect on the website to test out my audio. My microphone does work for other programs on my computer and my taskbar does show that my microphone is connected correctly.

When I am on a web site stream when I turn my camera on to join it stops the stream from web site

  This happens on Firefox 
  But if I use a different  browser  all is ok
