and found FF did not copie All of my bookmarks...so i deleted them...thinking I could take the same steps again (copie the bookmarks again). This is not possible!! If I click the file button, the "import"line/text (so to speak) is light gray, and I can't click it....so I'm not able to copy them anymore to FF for a 2cnd time. Is there anyone who has an idea how to fix this?! Thanx, Debora

I've upgraded our XP pc to Firefox & I don't have the new Firefox button - I've still got the old File - Edit etc menu at the top. The Tabs etc have all changed - it's just the button that hasn't appeared. My husband has a different XP user on the same pc, and he does have the new button, rather bizarrely (since, presumably, we're both running the same software!).

I installed FF 4.0.1 and I'm loving it! The only issue, and it's a BIG issue, is that I have to press Alt every time to make the menu at the top come up so I can view my bookmarks list! This is VERY annoying, so I'd like to know if there's any way to add a bookmarks button or something that will do the same as hitting Alt and then clicking 'Bookmarks'.

Thanks in advance

When a new tab is opened via launching a URL from another application on Windows (e.g. Outlook), the tab close buttons disappear, even with only two tabs. By carefully grabbing the right window border and dragging *inwards* (i.e. making the window narrower), the buttons suddenly appear on all tabs, thus illustrating that it's not a problem with the tab widths.

I downloaded Firefox 4 after reading and viewing the online ad. Unfortunately it doesn't look anything like the version i saw in the video. Is this because I run an iMac on OS X 10.5.8? There are some changes but nothing like the video said. Thanks, Craig

In other words, most of the features that were to be on the front screen are absent. Thanks for your assistance. Craig

I thought Tools > Options > Advanced might hold the key to a solution, but I found nada.

There is a backup button in FF4 that is larger than the round one in FF3. But to the right of the forward button there used to be a dropdown that would list the last dozen pages. Can this function be enabled in FF4 or do I need to look for a plug-in to do this. I can't believe they took it out.
