When using the built in history side bar or history manager, after scrolling down and clicking on a link, it automatically scrolls back to the top. THIS IS SOOO ANNOYYYINGG!! Please tell me how I can stop this behavior so I don't have to manually scroll back down to where I was EVERY TIME I CLICK A LINK FROM THE HISTORY.

Hi, There is very little help if you can still log in in FB and Twitter but you lost all your feed and messages. It happened after refreshing FF. Switched both profiles in about:profiles. Logged out and in in both. All there is left is, check if Java script is enabled. Pretty desperate, but I'll try. So I am looking for my web content. According to this, I have to look for "list all tabs" under the "carrot icon". I can't find it.

Ads and other annoyances that distract me from being able to browse the web in peace are a pet peeve of mine. Take for instance this example amazon prime promotion that loads in its own web page that cannot be blocked by normal means. I do not wish to use amazon prime and don't want to be asked every time I checkout in order to complete a purchase. To make matters worse, the options are deceptively colored much like how bloatware developers word their installation wizards. I want to be able to bypass this page entirely and get redirected to the "no thanks" option every time this page loads. Is this something that can be done so I can shop online without being nagged for unwanted services?

When you're waiting for the website to respond, there is a very small black blob that moves backwards and forwards from left to right in the firefox browser Tab of the window you are using. It is too small especially if there are a dozen Tabs, or more.. Is there any way/Add-On to make this larger/more obvious please?

I DO NOT LIKE THE LARGER BARS AT THE TOP. It takes 1/3 of my screen. Give a choice or adjustment to bar sizes. I can't see all that I use to be able to see. Now I am looking for a new internet browser that is more like the one you use to have. I DO NOT LIKE THE NEW VERSION!!!!!!!

"Open previous windows and tabs" is checked but it's not working. I had to go to history and opened it. It's happening for the last several weeks.

This morning YOPmail showed up on my windows 10 foxfire as a pinned tab. It claims to be an extension (chrome). Nowhere does anyone say it is malicious...but I want it gone and nowhere is there instructions on how to remove it...I have contacted the dev. we'll see...

It is my business computer and I don't like software, apps, code, extensions or add-ons that i cant get rid of.

Any help would be appreciated.

I currently have this add-on installed. It allows you to you highlight certain text, then right click and open up a link to Wiktionary in another tab. Up until a few minutes ago, this menu item was at the very top of the list (i.e. above "undo" and all the rest), but now it's been moved down with all the other add-ons. Image for further clarity.

The add-on hasn't been updated in 6 years, so it's certainly not that. I don't recall doing anything to make it change, but before this, it had been at the top of the menu ever since I added it maybe 2 years ago. Is there any potential way to restore this functionality? The fact that it appeared at the very top of the menu might have been a bug, but if that's the case, it was certainly a convenient one.

Anyway, I'll be looking forward to hearing from you fine folks in this community.

I'm trying to generate API key to access addon APIs using the addons.mozilla.org -> tools->Manage Api Keys.

As web screen states before generating the key I need to confirm it via email, however no confirmation email was sent to "[email address]". This might be relevant to the issue, the account email was changed from "[email address]" to "[email address]" some time ago.

We've checked the following link trying to troubleshoot the issue on our end, but had no success. We haven't found the way how to resend the email via UI.

Could you please resend the confirmation email for API key to "[email address]" once more?

I always use the current Firefox on two Macintosh browsers running OS 10.14.6.

Recently (in only one of the computers), if I download a file, a pane containing recent downloads opens in the upper left-hand quadrant. This is distinct from the downloads portion of the "Library" area, and gets in the way of my ability to use Firefox efficiently.

I can't seem to find a way to keep this pane from repeatedly opening up as I download things. Can anyone help?

I would like to request a feature that will automatically collapse any add-on not active in the correct tab to fold back into the overflow arrow, simple as that

(I don't even know if any devs see this forum, but I don't know where is a good place to give feedback)

i try to use firefox multiaccount container but it does not work. Better said if i add the add-on it does not show up in system bar (up in the right corner), but you can see it in the add-ons and themes setting menu. So there is only half of layout given but no function of it at all compairing to other persons using it, e.g. "how to use firefox multiaccount container tutorial videos" etc. Trying to handel the settings of it with the add-ons and themes menu does not help.

I use the firefox browser protable eddion for windows at my laptop and it seems to be that all settings are recent. As well it does not seem to be that i use there any privat tab where it does not work i guess?!

May someone can help me?

Hello! Hoping someone can help with this new (to me) issue. I've searched and can't seem to find any articles/threads.

When I open the wifi menu on my laptop, I also see a media player featuring a video I watched three days ago (image attached). I've used my computer several times since then and didn't notice it. It also doesn't appear to be functional, as when I click play, nothing happens.

Is there a setting I'm missing to get this to go away and to prevent it from coming back again?

Why why why why is FF forcing download of pdf files? It is a horrible problem for me.

Especially because I am a university prof and, in the classroom, constantly display (my own!) files from the course management system on the classroom devices. I DO NOT WANT MY FILES SAVED ONTO THE (PUBLIC) CLASSROOM DEVICE. Never mind multiple copies as it will download EACH AND EVERY TIME I open it.

I have been looking everywhere for a solution or a way to disable this feature, there seems to be no such option but I am seeing a lot of posts from people who object to this as much as I do.

After many many years of loyally using FF and a paid subscriber to some Mozilla services, I am afraid I am going to have to give up using FF is this isn't fixed NOW.

I wanted to adjust some system preferences after installing the new FF 100 OS. Found I can't, either by menu or by keyboard shortcut. How do I get my access back? Using Mac OS 10.13.6. Do I need to go back to previous FF 99 version?
