appearance of firefox application

I recently upgraded from 16.0.2 to 17.0. The fonts used by firefox in the toolbar and the names on the tabs have changed to a dirty, bold look. I do not like it. In 16.0.… (funda kabanzi)

I recently upgraded from 16.0.2 to 17.0. The fonts used by firefox in the toolbar and the names on the tabs have changed to a dirty, bold look. I do not like it. In 16.0.2 I am using the default theme. In 17.0 I am also using the default theme of 17.0. I am running Windows 7. Since my home and work machines have similar configurations, the work version (still 16.0.2) has the nicer looking fonts. If this antiquated system allowed one to attach screen shots, I could visually show the difference brought about by the upgrade to 17.0

How do I get back the application fonts that were used in 16.0.2?

I have Firefox at work and in the "Tools" tab I can select "view in IE" or right click at any website and I get the option to "Switch Rendering Engine". Did this feature… (funda kabanzi)

High Contrast themes on Windows 7&8 overwrites css styles on webpage, how do keep the High Contrast themes setting on window and use the stock CCS?

This was not a problem for me until Windows 8 now makes it so you HAVE to use high contrast theme to be able to change the background on windows explorer. Otherwise you have to accept it always being white. If there is a windows program that allowed me to change the windows colors like you used to be able to then I would not need to use the high contrast.

Personas no longer showing up when i hover over them.

So they used to work, when i went to change my persona it'd preview it on my window when i hovered over it, I recently updated firefox and now it wont preview the persona… (funda kabanzi)

I made sure cookies are allowed but even when i click on "wear this" it asks permission with an 'allow' button. How do i fix this, i cant find it.

Why did I lose Session Manager, as well as all my DOZENS of saved sessions (online course placemarks etc) with the upgr to 17? NEVER an issue, using FF forever

After installing latest ff (17.0) session manager was no longer installed. re-installed, but all previous sessions (as I stated dozens, with placemarks where I left off with online courses, pages with possible Christmas shopping items, etc etc) are ALL GONE. Been using FF for at least 10 years and this never happened before. Not a happy open source camper :(

Latest release seems to cause the Norton Toolbar to not fill in login information on saved web pages.

The identity safe toolbar was working with the prior release. When visiting a web page with a saved login, the login information is not filled in. I tried disabling and… (funda kabanzi)
