It's happening more frequently than ever before. I'm getting the message that Mozilla Firefox is "Not Responding." I must choose to end the program and all work is lost.

When I'm watching video on NFL.com the page freezes then at the top of the screen firefox (not responding) I have to close the page, stop the program. This started three days a go. When ever Im watching videos online. I've refreshed firefox and started it in safe mode but the problem still happens.

This is new and no changes have been made to my computer. I have used CompuServe and FireFox for about a decade with no complants. I've been dealing with firefox "not responding issues" ever since I updated to your latest version (41.0) I no longer use it because it is just too frustrating! I have tried all your recommended solutions numerous times to no avail. I have also sent you feedback a number of times with no response. Not even an acknowledgement that you received my concerns. I will send my concerns one last time and won't attempt to use firefox again until I hear back from someone.

Firefox has been crashing about every 20-30 minutes. It freezes and I eventually have to kill it, but no crash report messages pop up. I tried "about:crashes", but nothing was there. I am using Windows 8.1, freshly installed on a new PC with very minimal programs. I would really like to continue using your Browser. Thanks for the help.

Using Mozilla Firefox, when I go to my att.net home page, after about 5 minutes my screen will freeze and I will see a message that says Mozilla not responding. If I remain on that page that message remains. I must exit and start all over again. I do not have the same problem in explorer. What can I do to fix this? Thanks, Ginny

After my homepage is up and I enter a link either through bookmarks or other the blue circle starts, message appears in blue band at top saying "Mozilla Firefox is not responding". I have a hard time trying to get out but then a drop down box appears asking if I want to close or wait. I choose close and it will close. Then if I try again I need to do a restore. Even when I do that the same thing happens again.

How can I fix?

Crashes occur on facebook, generally while playing games, on gmail's inbox, or any website I'm trying to view. I've even considered switching to Chrome but I like Firefox better.

Ever since I updated to the newest version of Firefox, it has been freezing up and then crashing on me every few minutes so I end up having to reload everything. I work from home and therefore this is becoming a major issue. I am not sure what I need to do to get it fixed, but would appreciate any advice that you have. Thank you!

Shortly after I log on using Firefox the browser locks up and I get a "not responding" message. I've uninstalled and reinstalled ... same problem. When switching to IE ... no problems .. runs great. I'm using Windows 7 on a Dell laptop.

Just got new Firefox update but have been plagued with plugin crashes since (Not Responding), having to go to Task Manager to End plugin container; updated Flash, but no good - why? Not all the bugs out of the new update? What to do?

A couple of days ago, when opening up Mozilla firefox to my homepage, the browser would stop working, and the top would say "not responding." I closed it, and the next day, when I opened the Mozilla browser, there was a page that said that there'd been a problem, but it really didn't tell me what to do. Restoring the page didn't help, because it would just freeze up again. I changed the homepage to something else and it seems to be fine. So, it seems to have a problem with my ISP's portal page. What can I do?

Mozilla has crashed at least 20 times this morning while I'm on Farmville. It lets me do very little before it stops and says "mozilla is not responding. It has done this multiple times before but not as bad as it has been this morning. In talking with others who used Firefox also, they say they had crashing problems often with firefox and recommend changing browsers. I don't want to do this as I've liked firefox before and also do not want to have to change/download different flash, etc. Please fix whatever problem you are having. I think I've been very patient long enough.

Since upgrading to FF 41 I am plagued with constant non-stop (not responding) error. Which of course requires FF to be shutdown and restarted. The previous version of FF on the same computer and running WIN 10 did not have this problem. This problem started as soon as I upgraded to FF 41.

I'm getting non responsive script errors and firefox not responding while playing farmville 2. All of my plug-ins are up to date as well as my security software. I'm running windows 10. PLEASE HELP.

I hope this is not a duplicate of a previous question. Several days ago, my computer started freezing and hanging up; I started getting message: "Firefox is not responding. Do you want to close program or wait for program to respond." I have Windows 7 and the latest version of F/F. I have restarted computer, cleared cookies and cache. I am not very knowledgeable so have not restarted in safe mode, refreshed F/F or reinstalled F/F. I have checked plugins and they are up to date. Any advice would be very much appreciated.
