How to remove duplicated entries in history only differenced by URI fragment

When navigating in some pages, specially in google docs, the browser's URI fragment (the part after the #) changes frequently for each page/header/slide, and all of them are stored in the history.

That behavior adds lots of entries in the history and also hinders the usage of the search functionality of the address bar (as all the duplicates are shown instead of shown only one and other pages). I want to keep one entry per document, at least in specific pages like gdocs where the "fragment" doesn't add any useful information and each document can have lots of them.

Is there any way to configure that behavior, to not save every fragment in the history?

To reproduce the above behavior (the same behavior happens in other pages, not only gdocs):

- Open any gdocs document with several headers, or a gdocs presentation with several pages. - Navigate all the document/presentation, and check the history. - Close the document/presentation tab/window. - In a new window/tab, use the address bar to search the document/presentation by the document name: several entries for the same document/presentation are shown (and if they are lots of them, no other different entries with same words are shown in the address bar). - Check also the history: several entries of the same document/presentation are shown (it could be hundreds for long documents, and thousands after seen few documents).

I frequent Creative Fabrica a lot, I have had a subscription there for well over a year and never had any problem downloading anything, never had so much as a warning about the website. This website is larger than Creative Market. I purchased the ability to download in a subscription there, my payments are all made on time.

Even then, I am trying to download free "daily gifts" (fonts & graphics), and this is the first time I have tried on my iMac, but FireFox does nothing, and I cannot download the .zip archive, even though I can download the image files.

I have been downloading from elsewhere across the internet just fine. I usually use FireFox because I like it better than Safari (and a lot more than Chrome or Chrome Edge), until this issue.

So, what's the deal?

I heard about restarting in safe mode, but have no idea how, I always have such an issue getting FireFox to restart for updates, already (and why doesn't it offer the button to do just that?).

I run wxmaxima on ubunbtu 20.04. The help menu option calls up firefox (v 101.0.1 (64 bit)) to find the local on disk html files. However this brings up the error message:

File not found

Firefox can’t find the file at /usr/share/maxima/5.45.1/doc/html/maxima_singlepage.html#g_t_0025.

But this is a valid path with user access permissions and the file maxima_singlepage.html exists and has user read permissions.

So what is firefox doing in looking for this file?

I have used the ms windows 10 version of wxmaxima and the firefox help works perfectly.

In the early days of Firefox, the FAQs in the release notes mentioned that the preferred abbreviation is "Fx":

> How do I capitalize Firefox? How do I abbreviate it? > Only the first letter is capitalized (so it's Firefox, not FireFox.) The preferred abbreviation is "Fx" or "fx".

However, some time ago (unsure when exactly), this question was dropped off the FAQs. In fact, I can't find any mentions of a preferred abbreviation in any recent documentation.

Does this mean that the Mozilla Foundation no longer has a preferred abbreviation for Firefox? If "Fx" is still preferred (or not), does anyone have a link to an official documentation or statement from the Foundation indicating this?

For some time, I’ve been using characters like em spaces (U+2003, or ‘ ’), thin spaces (U+2009, or ' ’), and hair spaces (U+200A, or ‘ ’) on my webpages, and up until a few revisions ago, Firefox was displaying them appropriately. Rather abruptly, they were replaced with boxes.

This doesn’t appear to be a font problem; it happens with every font, including several that I’ve verified have the character in question. (In the image below, it’s in Times Roman, but I’ve tried Noto Sans, Arno Pro, and half a dozen others.)

Does anyone know why this is happening, and does anyone know a workaround?

(I am Korean, It's a translator. Please understand even if it's awkward.)

1. I saw a blog post in the past and set up a browser. (use -> about:config)

2. when I turn on the browser after that, the size of the browser is always initialized.

3. I think the settings are synchronized to my account. Reinstalling Firefox has the same symptoms.

I can't solve it even if I find a Korean website. Help me

Lately when i am on Firefox and go to Facebook for some reason the post start out ok. Bu then jump to the next one some times more than on at a time. I have removed and disabled the add ons even went as far as to refresh Firefox. I am still getting the jumping to the next or next 2 or 3 posts. I have no idea what is causing it or why. I have some of the same extensions and more on Chrome and it does not do that. I am using the latest version of Firefox. I do sometimes use Glary and Cc-cleaner but have Firefox as excluded. The fact that it only happens in Firefox tells me that it is not a Facebook problem but a Firefox problem or perhaps both. Any suggestions would be appreciated , I do not want to go to Chrome i have used Firefox for years and like it but now it seems to be hard to stay with. What do i do here If you can help
