Whenever I try to log into my energy company, and enter my username and password, when I click submit, is just sits there. I will not go any further. Other browsers are fine.

Hello, Extensions 'widgets or logos' can't show up in the address bar when selecting 'Never keep records' in the privacy and security options. Thus I am not able to use them but they are installed. Thank you for your help.

I can't remove this button and it's very annoying, because it doesn't hide when I minimize the browser. I didn't find anything about this in settings and I don't know what to do. How can I remove this button?

I have this weird issue that I have never encountered before. After getting off of a video call today the small firefox logo that appears beside the microphone will not disappear. I can move it around, and even minimise my windows and it will stay on my screen. I've attached a picture of the issue. Is there a way to get rid of this or would I just have to close all my windows? Any help would be much appreciated.

Recently I upgraded Firefox to 77.0.1.I had a tough time importing old bookmarks. Now post upgrade it crashes frequently like once in 4 hours.Also after crash its disappearing completely from system.I cannot find the Firefox.app to open it again.I have properly downloaded and moved it to application folder.Still no idea why this is happening.It's really annoying .I have the .dmg file which I drag and place Firefox.app in Applications folder every time it crashes and it works.But cannot keep on doing that repeatedly. Can some one help on this?

We have two separate users on our desktop. We used to have separate/different bookmarks on our own page. Now, the main account holders bookmarks show up on both users pages. How can we separate the users?

I am using Firefox 77. I thought I had the URL bar fixed, but I can not find the setting any more to turn off this expanding behavior. I have tried to make files and copy "userchrome" codes from the internet, and apparently I am not qualified to do that. I really dislike this new "feature" that jumps out at me for no apparent reason and serves no apparent purpose.

On windows 10, with Firefox set as the default browser and not open, double click on a desktop link to an URL causes Firefox to open, but the URL is not loaded (a blank page is shown instead). Only in tha case that Firefox is already running, a new tab is opened and the URL loaded.

I found this problem already reported in the past (https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1260240), but that is relative to an old version and the solution does not work for me.

Any idea?

Hello, I am using the latest version of Firefox (77). In this version, but also all the previous versions, I have a problem while scrolling long web pages. Once I have scrolled down quite a bit to far below the immediately visible area, there will be a horizontal area across the entire browser window that does not show anything or is blacked out. It appears as if that area is covering up the info below it (as in a lower layer). If I continue to scroll further down, these blacked out areas appear regularly. This forces me to switch to another browser (Chrome, Edge) where the problem does not occur, just so that I can read that info or access the buttons etc. hidden in FF. I am working with a Lenovo Laptop attached to a docking station and two extra 27 inch screens that are turned to vertical and stand side by side. The attached Screenshot gives you an idea. It was taken from this page: https://www.afrikarma.de/safari-lodges-und-camps-in-afrika/ with the parameter for number of items to display in the table below the map set to "Alle". The blacked-out area appears 8 or nine times. The page is only an example - the problem occurs on just about every page that requires a lot of downward scrolling. My HD had a meltdown last night and I had to reinstall everything. Luckily I saved my settings to the Mozilla cloud just a few days ago and desperately want to get everything back, if at all possible. I had to put in my email address and use a password and it stated 'saved'.

I can't for the life of me find out where to go to retrieve my settings.. Please help

I have been running Firebox for many years in internet explorer and it still continued when I upgraded to win 10 and started using Edge seperately. Since Edge updated, Firefox has stoped working. I have important bookmarks in firefox that I need to use but dont want to loose either set ( in Edge and in Firefox). I stuck with firefox/internet explorer because I likely have passwords remembered that I do not have recorded. It is also likely my Firefox had an email address associated that I do not have a password for as I have been using it and Firebird forever. Any ideas please

I run the latest version of Firefox on Windows 10. Since a couple of weeks ago (possibly after installing CCleaner), the shortcut I have on my desktop for Twitter (and others) only seems to work when a tab is already open. Otherwise it just opens Google with an empty mask.

Can anyone suggest what might be causing this?
