Hi,

Im using Firefox Developer Edition and every time I make a change in website's source code (not by "inspect element") I have to restart Firefox to see any change that I made. Other browsers show those changes so it's not server's fault.

With FF91, it seems I can only delete cookies for an entire domain. I occasionally have an issue with forums.xfinity.com where it won't load. Deleting the cookies for forums.xfinity.com would fix it. Now, with FF91, I have to delete ALL xfinity.com cookies! It seems as if there should be a way to open up the 'container' to see the sub-domains, and then you could further open that up if needed to delete an individual cookie.

So this morning I accidentally involuntarily clicked on the updated window that popped up and now I have yet another update Firefox version 91 and once again I have a TabBar I don't want at the previous settings to disable proton are no longer working. Why are you forcing and shoving down my throat your insane updates addictions all the time! I don't want them I don't need them at this lame excuse for security update all because you're so concerned about my safety security and well-being... yeah right! What's next? In the next update you determine which webpages I can see and which not? It's already happening that many of legit websites I cannot access anymore because I get a security warning blah blah blah blah and even if I click on "accept the risk" and proceed I cannot get to the website anymore. What's the point? For that I don't need Firefox. We're done with Firefox. I'm going to uninstall on all our systems. I've had it with this constant updates nonsense and not asked for and unwanted changes! I have enough already with Windows update nonsense which always introduces another few dozen bugs with every update. Get a life!

....Mozilla were to build a car, (what a nightmare that would be) the next model would have the ignition key behind the head, the drive select under the seat and the accelerator on the left side....

Prior to updating to v91.0 today, I had my Firefox browser set up so it would never offer any auto-complete or drop-down suggestions when I typed text into the address bar. However, now that I've updated, I'm now getting drop-down suggestions whenever I type in a search engine shortcut, as well as a "This time, search with..." bar. Other kinds of drop-down suggestions aren't appearing; only the search engine ones. I've attached a screenshot showing what appears.

I had the same problem with a previous update a couple years ago as well: [https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/que.../1248608]

I'd really appreciate some advice on how to restore the address bar to its previous state!

Thanks in advance.

So, for example, when I scroll through Reddit, I see an interesting post and I want to go to it, to open the photo and it just disappears! When I open the post, I see that the photo is loading and then it immediately disappears. That's not only on Reddit, on other bunch of websites, but I can't figure out how to fix it, maybe you can help me? (also I tried other browsers and they work properly)

Why is the system ADDING bookmarks to my list? Every day I delete them and every day Firefox bookmarks return to my list. Among others they include repeats over and over of items like "get involved", "Help and Tutorials", "About Us (from Firefox)" and others. I didn't put them there. I never went to these pages. Why do they keep showing up and why can't they simple be deleted and stay deleted? They slow down any attempt I make to find an actual bookmark that I place there.

Wading through all this information for support is ridiculous. There is no one place to get an answer. I've tried to report this as a bug and I've tried searching help files. I don't have time to read all this garbage. I just want this to work the way it used to work.

Your voice-to-text function works so well that I was (finally) looking how to activate Firefox commands by voice. Instead, up comes a notice that you are removing the very code that provides this service! Or am I mistaken? If not, it makes me wonder why...

  • No reason was given for the service removal?
  • Better coverage was not given to this feature in the first place?

Firefox has crashed my Win 7 (64) Ultimate by maxing out my 22GB RAM for a few weeks now; Chrome has zero issues. What is the excuse? There is no reason why open tabs in the background should be consuming resources, especially even after closing them, yet the Firefox browser is a memory hog beyond reasonable explanations. My RAM is working properly, and I have virtual memory as well which apparently makes no difference in this issue.

The suspicion is growing, that Ffox is doing something but I can't figure out what. When I had only 8GB RAM in the same PC the issue never came up, so I would appreciate it if posters not working in IT would refrain from adding foolish comments, like this is normal, expected, etc. If I were using high end photo editing software at the same time as audio engineering editing, I could expect this to be an issue. Running a browser to view online info should require a fraction of that kind of memory. What gives?
Past postings indicate this is not a new issue, yet responses show little real info of merit in addressing what appears to be a pervasive problem.

It used to be I would launch firefox then enter my primary password and not be asked to enter it again during that session. About a week ago Firefox started asking for my primary password several times a session. Is this something new or is it a virus of some kind? How can I check to see what is going on with firefox?
