I recently switched from Chrome to Firefox. Now when I try to login to a platform, my verification codes to my phone are coming through too slow. What is causing the delay?

I'm trying to setup 2fa on my account. It requires sending a code to my email which I then use to verify. These codes consistently are sent outside of the time window and as a result expired. I've added accounts@firefox.com to my contacts, and I've tried this on firefox desktop and firefox mobile on an iphone, and both produce the same results.

I'm on a gmail account and gmail flags these emails as suspicious despite being added as a contact, which likely means they are poorly formatted. Despite this flag, they are still sent to my inbox when they finally arrive.

This is incredibly frustrating as this is a service provided by basically every company and yet I have never seen it perform this poorly as it has with firefox.

I tried to sign into my account, but then it sends a code to my email which i go into but didn't get and have waited for an hour but still nothing. Has this happened to anybody?

Good morning I got problems with my account because I sold my old phone and forgot change Authentication but I have access to Email can you can help me restore access to my account?

I didn't save the code properly on my first attempt to save the verification code so I have to start over. How do I disable the first one? I'm on a Mac Book and a iPhone 16

I cannot receive confirmation codes from yahoo to access my emails. I have tried everything else and have been advised to check with my browser (Firefox).

I arrive at 'Enter verification code' and given 3 options; I use 'Text' via my Android phone. I don't do social networks.

It has been working grand up until the last 3 weeks or there about.

I have very important emails waiting and it is all driving me crazy.

I cannot access Yahoo help; it seems I have to log in which I cannot because I need to receive these codes to log in.

Can anyone help? Personally I think it should be Mozilla but again I seem to be going around in circles. And I cannot receive emails as the check box states ..... Email me when someone answers the thread.

Several years ago I created an account for Firefox Sync. Meanwhile I changed my mail address, the old one, with which I registered, has been deleted as I just realized. So I can no longer access the code to login on new devices. What am I supposed to do now?

The best would be to recover additional backup codes but the address [ https://g.co/2sv doesn't do the job.

Hi Helpful People. I scanned the QR code to continue the two part authentication of my account. When I opened it all I received was an inappropriate ad. When I tried again I went to someone trying to scam me about security. I am using this forum to tell someone this happened. Thank you.

I cant setup my 2FA every time Im at the end of the process where I need to add one of my security keys it just crashed with note that my time of the device is not corrent or whatever. Tried like 25 times with different autenticators. Is it like broken or what is happening?

I cannot log in to iCloud.com, even after setting a popup block exception. When I click on the "go" arrow after entering password, I get a notice on my iPhone to allow access. After I approve, I get a 6-digit verification code on the iPhone. But no popup window appears on the Firefox tab, so I can enter the code. Any suggestions?

Hi there, I am trying to get firefox to stop allowing outlook to try and get my fingerprint or face ID as my Macbook Pro 2014 doesn't have these features. I am running macOS Big Sur (as this is the only one that still works decent). The Open Web Autentification Panel pop up says "Touch your secuity key to continue with login.microsoft.com". Thank you for any help you might provide!

This is rather annoying. Firefox will disconnect/logout my account rather frequently. But the actual issue is... when I go to log back into the account. The login process will send me an e-mail with a code.

And I have 2FA disabled, but I still have to go through the 2FA process.

How do I effectively TURN THIS OFF.

(I do not store passwords in Firefox...I only store a few convenient shortcuts in the bookmark bar)

I use this feature so I have the same shortcuts in my bookmarks bar across multiple computers.

I was trying to sign in to siriusxm.com. A box came up that said "Please insert your security key", with a diagram that looks like a flash drive. It said the request came from FireFox Mozilla Corp.

Is this one flashdrive key that will work for everything Firefox Mozilla Corp wants to guard, or it is something required by SiriusXM? I've never heard of it, but have seen it pop up for two or three things in the last week. I don't know how to satisfy the requirement. I looked though the topics on FireFox help page, and nothing mentions it that I can find.
