I recently bought an new HP Win 11 PC to replace my current Win 10 machine. Running latest FF 144.0.2 on both. How do I transfer my complete FF profile (bookmarks, bookmark bar, login data, EVERYTHING) to the new PC? Want the new install to be an exact functional copy.

Google appears to be taking over control of my firefox page. When I open Firefox, Google search and other functions appear on screen and take over. Also, most of my saved bookmarks have disappeared .This probably happened when I got tech help to deal with problems accessing my MS and Google accounts. I have always used the Google search engine but it only when I clicked on the search bar. Now it seems to have taken over and I seem only to be ableto access sites using Google Can I restore lost bookmarks so I can go direct to internet sites?

how do I get the house tab onto my tool bar? my lap top has it so when I close a window it goes to main Mozilla window. on my desk top there is now house to press when I leave a window it closes the home window.

I'm no longer able to access my old computer, but I do have access to the hard drive. Is there a file that I can transfer to the new computer to sync all my previously saved passwords? I did not have a Mozilla account back then.

I have purchased a new computer and I want ot transfer al my bookmarks, login details etc onto the new one. I have followed the instructions given on your help pages, to no effect. My old computer ruins Firefox under Win 10. The new computer runs the same version under Win 11. I have copied the contents of Profiles from the old to the new, but Firefox says the profile is missing. When I copy and add the folders in Profiles to the Win 11 computer, there is no difference. The names of the folders in Profiles are different on each computer, so I think that it is looking for a particular file/folder name, but I don't know which one. Can anyone help me?

How can I get rid of that logo? I tried the "flip flag to false" and it didnt work.. I have downloaded BRAVE and will use if for now.. When someone can explain how to remove it, I will use Firefox again.. I don't like it... I like a clean home page, and would think I can have the option of removing it.

Hello, I reset my PC yesterday.

I didn't know my Firefox password anymore and clicked "Forgot password."

Then I created a new one.

Now my saved online pages and everything else are gone. So synchronization isn't working.

I have an account recovery key.

Will that work? And how?

Please help me.

I admit, I don't read about updates so I don't know when Firefox did all these "enhancements"...but I'd love to know how to turn my mouse wheel BACK into a "scroll through the page" only function. I hate it auto opening links, I hate it scrolling through tabs. I suspect it of doing other "helpful" functions...and I can't even find the right words to do a search for this. The only applicable setting I found is "autoscroll"...which is turned off in my preferences...and which the browser STILL does.

All I want is for my wheel to scroll through the page...under my control. No auto-stuff. There's no setting for this in my mouse controls, as far as I've been able to determine, and it didn't used to do this. It must be in a Firefox update. Is this even possible any longer? Or am I, after decades with Firefox, going to have to change browsers? At this point, I've had far too many important operations disrupted and even fouled by this "helpful" change.

Pleeeease help?
