i specifically switched from google/chrome to firefox and yahoo to avoid the stupid AI features and to protect my privacy, and now even firefox is shoving it down our throats? genAI literally makes everything worse and now ill have to switch browsers again which is just even more inconvenience. idk if this new ceo bought the company thinking it was his ticket i to the genAI race or what but that was a stupid choice for everyone involved. AI is making everything it touches worse. im sick of it being added to everything against my will and im sick of it being impossible to turn off or avoid. ill be changing browsers again, maybe to ecosia (which is dedicated to reforestation) but definitely to something without malicious and inane features built in.

Have tried different solutions like Malware product and cleaning cashe and cookies. When I search a known safe site I get redirect by Convertitmas stating the (known safe) site is unsafe. Best regards Henrik Nygaard

To sign into Chatgbt I used my google account. Mozilla asks me "do I want to store info in persistent storage?" I click "learn more" about persistent storage. It takes me to a page that has zero mention of the words "persistent storage". That is a huge UX error. It says to me that really, you don't want me to know about persistent storage, and prefer that I remain confused and feel forced to agree to things I may not really want to, because you're making it difficult to understand what's actually involved. Not cool. Definitely now considering changing my browser after over 20 years.

I choose Firefox because of its security and privacy measures. This will be completely undercut by implementing pointless ai features. Mozilla's choice of new CEO is incredibly questionable, especially as the ai bubble draws closer and closer to bursting.

Is it true that the CEO is planning to put AI into the browser? If so, I would have to switch to something else because that would be a massive privacy and security violation. I am incredibly disappointed that this is something Ive heard about when Mozilla Firefox has been one of the best browsers Ive ever used. Putting AI into everything is a waste of everyones time and resources.
